  1. <Silas_> Did we start already?
  2. <Baruch> Lessee, there's Aiden, Gustbran, Makara, Silas, and the chicken, right?
  3. <Baruch> Shouldn't be a problem
  4. <Baruch> no
  5. <Baruch> we're just talking thing's over
  6. <Ramon> good as Class left his complete equipment at Stonehenge and so he asked Ramon if he could have a look if he is nearby.
  7. <Silas_> goodie. I only got 2hours or so today I'm afraid, or perhaps a bit less depending on trafic
  8. <Baruch> Silk. We'll try to have this wrapped up by then
  9. <Gustbran> I've been up for a while So Id prefer ending about then too.
  10. <Baruch> Makara was going to skip the beginning for some reason, right? If that's so, then we should have everyone present already who's coming, I think
  11. <Ramon> Yes think so
  12. <Gustbran> Yeah. Anyone else will have to catch up when they arrive.
  13. <Ramon> How late from ingame time was it when we stopped?
  14. <Baruch> Ok, let's start then
  15. <Baruch> It's around 2pm
  16. <Baruch> You've taken to air from the little clearing in the forest. Is everyone on the boat except ramon, or did someone get on Sedala?
  17. <Gustbran> (I think I was on sedala)
  18. <Ramon> No most of them are on Sedala
  19. <Baruch> You can hear the hounds in the forest, but can't see them yet
  20. <Gustbran> (Er aiden I mean)
  21. <Ramon> Only Makara is at the boat
  22. <Baruch> Ok, Makara is steering the boat with the chicken huddling down
  23. <Baruch> Everyone else is on Sedala.
  24. <Ramon> (Yes)
  25. <Baruch> The deal is for Makara to follow Sedala with the boat
  26. <Baruch> What do you want to do?
  27. <Silas_> Asking why Aiden is so keen on getting away?
  28. * Ramon fly up above the waterfall
  29. <Silas_> (Hiya ^^)
  30. <Amaranth> (Good morning
  31. <Baruch> (H <Ramon> (Hi)
  32. * Aiden tries to evade the questioning.
  33. <Baruch> Ok, Ramon flies due west from the clearing over the waterfall, and Silas starts interrogating Aiden
  34. * Ramon then use his Needle to get the direction to the covenant
  35. <Aiden> (politely)
  36. <Baruch> The covenant is roughly west-nortwest of here
  37. <Baruch> Aidhat do you tell him?
  38. <Ramon> (Stonehenge was the same direction right?)
  39. <Aiden> "I'm from Nigrasaxsa (spelling?) But right now I can't go back there."
  40. <Ramon> (Or do I have it wrong in memory)
  41. <Baruch> Ramon, it's quite a bit further south
  42. <Gustbran> "I remember you!"
  43. <Silas_> "The dogs came from Libellus, so it makes sense why you were running, I suppose" [goes quiet at Gust's remark]
  44. <Aiden> "Ah, yes, Gustbran...? Was it? The one who lost a bet and kicked that visiting magus?"
  45. * Aiden subtly shifts the focus of the conversation.
  46. <Ramon> (So the main direction for the covenant is West and I also can go a bit more west for Stonehenge)
  47. <Gustbran> "Oh... That... HAHA!"
  48. <Gustbran> "That's a long story..."
  49. * Ramon fly for 1-2 h west wards then and when there is a good place to land I make my intention clear
  50. <Baruch> (Ramo. The covenant is about half-a-days journey to the west-nortwhest [so a bit north and more west] and stonehenge is a couple day's journey to the southwest)
  51. <Silas_> "you kicked a visiting magus?" [incredulous]
  52. <Baruch> (Ok, you can do that, makes sense)
  53. <Aiden> "I wasn't there but he was forced to on account of some stupid wager or other"
  54. <Ramon> (Ok then I will fly till nearly to the covenant and let the fly the last pice northwart via boat only)
  55. <Silas_> (Figured it couldn't hurt to have a bot precent)
  56. <Baruch> (Thanks)
  57. <Silas_> (present*)
  58. <Ramon> (But ayway the convo comes first now ^^)
  59. <Gustbran> (It's hard typing for 2!)
  60. <Baruch> (Yeah ;)
  61. <Ramon> (Sure it i)
  62. <Silas_> (haha aye, I can imagine)
  63. <Silas_> "what was the wager then?" [to Gust]
  64. <Gustbran> "You mustn't misunderstand!"
  65. * Silas_ looks more amused than anything
  66. <Gustbran> "It's not like I wanted to, but honor dictated that..."
  67. <Aiden> "He supposedly bullied some younger grogs into a rigged competition and they still got the better of him"
  68. * Gustbran motions for Aiden to please quiet down about that.
  69. * Silas_ tries not to laugh
  70. <Silas_> "How did the magus take it?"
  71. <Aiden> "Right in the rear."
  72. * Gustbran blushes
  73. <Silas_> "I was thinking of how he reacted..."
  74. * Ramon laugh
  75. <Gustbran> "Let's just say that it was a long day the next one..."
  76. * Gustbran cuts aiden off.
  77. <Ramon> "Do you have any news from Stonehenge and how the situation ther developed?"
  78. <Aiden> "bare naked at the stockades would be a long day."
  79. <Silas_> "or from Libellus? the dogs cut my visit there short..."
  80. <Aiden> "Unfortunately, I doubt that there is much I can tell you."
  81. <Baruch> Aidoll communication + guile
  82. <Baruch> others perception + folk ken
  83. <Silas_> "... which reminds me, I don't think I ever caught your name" [to Aiden]
  84. <Silas_> !roll 1d10
  85. <Silas_> (hmm)
  86. <Baruch> Bizzbot is out of business
  87. <Ramon> (No bot up ^^)
  88. <Silas_> (noo)
  89. <Baruch> Do you think you can get it to work, Silas?
  90. <Silas_> 1 sec, reconnecting
  91. <Aiden> !roll 1d10+1 (1 com and no guile)
  92. <Ramon> !roll 1d10+3
  93. <Silas_> (damnit)
  94. <Gustbran> (how do you get it? I'll try running it.)
  95. <Ramon> (my real dice say 8+3 = 11 ;) )
  96. <Silas_> its called Servitor, I found the link through Nyaa
  97. <Baruch> Ok, Gus and Silas, can you try to get us a bot, I'll roll for you in the meantime
  98. <Silas_> please d
  99. <Ramon> (have you changed the settings from it after the last use?)
  100. <Silas_> (I did, cleaned up my desktop and servitor got flushed with it)
  101. <Silas_> !roll 1d10
  102. <Ramon> !roll 1d10+3
  103. <Silas_> *mutters*
  104. <Baruch> Sil, 5, i.e. nothing; Aiden 5+1 = 6; Ramon 6+3 = 9
  105. <Baruch> Ramon gets the feeling Aiden is not telling everything
  106. <Silas_> ah
  107. <Silas_> (got it now)
  108. <Ramon> "For how long are you on the run if your not even know the incident at Stonehenge?"
  109. <Silas_> !roll 1d10
  110. <Servitor> Sila0
  111. <Aiden> "Wha...? Oh, that.. Well... You see..."
  112. <Gustbran> (YAY)
  113. <Baruch> (Thanks, guys!)
  114. <Ramon> (The bot wasn't listening in this chanel?)
  115. <Silas_> (Freespace, the issue was in settings, change the ',' to '!')
  116. <Gustbran> (HAHA)
  117. <Ramon> (ohhh)
  118. <Gustbran> (I'll remember that)
  119. <Gustbran> (obvious in hindsight)
  120. <Silas_> (since I may be running early it'll be handy to have if you guys continue ^^)
  121. <Ramon> (YOu mean Gustbran continue with Gustbran?)
  122. <Ramon> (As mentioned Ramon will drop out at some point because he have to go a different direction)
  123. <Silas_> (I mean when I leave in an hour(ish) then you guys can continue without any !roll problem)
  124. <Aiden> "You misunderstand.... I'm not especially well liked..."
  125. <Aiden> (I should be able to take over then)
  126. <Silas_> (my point exactly ^^)
  127. <Silas_> "oh, what did you do?"
  128. <Aiden> "And so I'm not up to date on gossip or news. I doubt I can tell you anything you probably don't know."
  129. * Aiden sighs
  130. <Ramon> "So your not liked by other mages? Why is that so? Oh and whats your name?"
  131. <Aiden> "Please call me Aiden..."
  132. <Ramon> "I'm Ramon of Barcelona and as you can see a Redcap"
  133. <Aiden> "Ah, yes..."
  134. <Silas_> "It is alright if you don't want to talk about it, it isn't our concern..."
  135. <Silas_> [is clearly hoping Aiden will divulge it regardless]
  136. <Ramon> "I have to drop you off at a bit distance from her because I have to go a other direction but you should have place in the boat the is following us
  137. <Aiden> "All I can tell you is that there was an event with dragons nearly awakening, and that the Magi at Stonehenge haven't agreed on much. But that is about it."
  138. <Ramon> (err dropa you all off)
  139. <Silas_> "ah alright, thank you for all the help, Lord Ramon, we have been fortunate to have you around"
  140. <Ramon> (Sorry that this interrupt the adventure a bit but I doubt Ramon will get any closer to Stonehenge in the next time so it have to be now ;) )
  141. <Baruch> (Yeah, makes sense)
  142. <Baruch> Ok, after you've been chatting among yourselves for a long time, a little under 6 hours, Ramon takes Sedala down to a heath far from any settlements. He knows the covenant is about an hour to the north from here.
  143. <Silas_> (hehe is fine, Ramon has his own things to take care of, and we got the boat)
  144. <Baruch> Makara lands the boat nearby
  145. <Baruch> William the preternatural cock stands sternly at the prow
  146. <Baruch> The chicken huddle under the seats
  147. * Silas_ dismounts with some cautiousness
  148. <Ramon> "Have a good trip back to the covenant then and dont miss that it fligh rater high"
  149. <Baruch> Aidou are in the middle of nowhere, with no idea where to go or where you are
  150. <Silas_> "Aiden, do you want to come with us to our covernant, or stay here? - you are paying so either is fine"
  151. <Ramon> (me just gave a small hint to hm taht our covenant is Airborn and apearently not easy to find ^^)
  152. <Aiden> "Yes, I suppose that might be for the best."
  153. <Baruch> So you all climb on the boat?
  154. <Aiden> (Beat me half sentence. I had to retype a new one)
  155. <Silas_> (muhaha)
  156. <Baruch> It's rather crowded with the chicken around your feet
  157. * Silas_ climbs abord with the chicken
  158. * Aiden climbs up silently.
  159. <Silas_> (aboard, chickens*)
  160. <Baruch> Alvina the chicken seems to be fine for now, probably thanks to Makara's spell
  161. <Baruch> But you all know it's just temporary
  162. <Baruch> Makara takes off and heads for the covenant, waving Ramon goodbye and sticking his tongue out for some reason
  163. <Aiden> (haha)
  164. <Silas_> "I should perhaps warn you not to provoke our [title of covenant leader] Antonius, he has a fondness for throwing people off the city"
  165. <Baruch> Ramon heads south for Stonehenge and Class' stuff
  166. <Aiden> "Better the evil you know..."
  167. <Silas_> "and, the city is flying, so it is a rather long way down...."
  168. <Ramon> (Air Vis is to expensive to not try to get it recovered ^^)
  169. * Aiden trails off
  170. <Baruch> The trip is uneventful. William keeps lookout at the prow, silent.
  171. <Silas_> "I suppose so,.."
  172. <Baruch> After a while, you can spot the city among the clouds
  173. <Baruch> You've been flying a little low, because Makara isn't used to doing this, but he takes altitude and soon you are there
  174. <Aiden> "A city in the sky.... How pleasant."
  175. <Silas_> "It is! We got markets, fields and everything"
  176. <Baruch> As you glide over the outer rim of the island, William suddenly makes an awkward-looking leap into the air, shrieks, and stays put while the boat glies onward
  177. <Baruch> He stays there, flapping and shrieking, angry and afraid at the same time
  178. <Silas_> "I invite you to the city, all of you"
  179. <Silas_> (can't recall if there is more to the invitation...)
  180. <Baruch> Roll intelligence+magic theory
  181. <Silas_> !roll 1d10+5
  182. <Servitor> Sila5
  183. <Silas_> (oh shite)
  184. <Baruch> Everyone knows visitors should either participate in the aegis ritual or have a token with them
  185. <Baruch> So that's a good enough roll
  186. <Baruch> But being without one just means they can't cast
  187. <Baruch> Aiden and siloes either have magic lore?
  188. <Aiden> (I was about to say, I know Aegis so I would be one to know how that one goes)
  189. <Ramon> (Problem is Magical Beasts)
  190. <Silas_> (I'm afraid not)
  191. <Baruch> Silas, you can roll only int anyway
  192. <Ramon> (But that should be known as Ramon need to get a Mage every time he visit)
  193. <Silas_> !roll 1d10+2
  194. <Servitor> Sila2
  195. <Aiden> (haha)
  196. <Baruch> Ok, that's good enough. You remember that Sedala has a similar problem whenever entering the city
  197. <Silas_> (should I grab the little chicken and he will be ok?)
  198. <Aiden> (maybe a reassuring pat?)
  199. <Silas_> (rooster, rather)
  200. <Baruch> Yeah, I think a "conscious effort" to invite him should be enough I think
  201. <Baruch> This is something CJ would need to confirm, but my gm, my rules
  202. * Silas_ plucks William out of the air and pats him, inviting him to the city
  203. <Silas_> (of caus)
  204. <Baruch> Ok, you fly back, invite him into the aegis, and get him back on the boat
  205. <Aiden> "This place reminds me a bit of Arcadia..."
  206. <Baruch> He clucks in an insulted way angrily, but Makara puts in a few soothing words
  207. <Baruch> You fly over the city, towards the main plaza
  208. <Baruch> William takes his place at the prow and inspects everything carefully
  209. <Baruch> You land at the central plaza near the temple where Antonius' office is
  210. <Baruch> It's evening, the sun will set soon
  211. <Silas_> "Welcome to the City of Ivory and Jade, we should perhaps let Antonius know we have returned with guests"
  212. <Silas_> [looks to Makara]
  213. <Baruch> Makara exchanges a few words with William
  214. <Baruch> "He wants to come with us to see Antonius."
  215. <Silas_> "... alright, I guess, but I am not sure it is a good idea..."
  216. <Baruch> William's red comb is suddenly surrounded by a little crown
  217. <Baruch> He looks at you as if to say "lead the way"
  218. * Silas_ finds it a little fun but leads the group towards the temple
  219. <Baruch> Ok, Silas, Makara, William, Aiden, Gustbran enter Antonius' office
  220. <Baruch> He is sitting down with a book, and doesn't bother to get up for you
  221. <Aiden> (What a ragtag bunch of misfits.)
  222. <Baruch> "And? Is the boat secure?"
  223. <Baruch> "Who is this? And what is THAT?"
  224. <Silas_> "It is secure"
  225. <Aiden> (haha)
  226. <Silas_> [looks to Makara who seems to be conversing with a pillar] "ergh, this is Aiden, who paid for his way here with Vis"
  227. * Silas_ motions to Aiden
  228. * Aiden takes a deep breath and swallows.
  229. <Baruch> "And what would you want from us, Aiden? Who are you?"
  230. <Aiden> "My name is Aiden. Until recently of Nigrasaxa. I was sent to spy on Libellas but was found out...."
  231. * Silas_ looks up in surprise
  232. <Baruch> "A spy, eh? I have heard about this madness among the covenants of Stonehenge. It does not concern me. What do you want from us?"
  233. * Silas_ but keeps quiet regardless
  234. <Aiden> "Seeing as I failed in my mission, I cannot return. I ask for asylum and to join this covenant."
  235. <Baruch> "Asylum, you say. We do not know you. Why should we trust you? Silas, how did he come to be with you?"
  236. <Aiden> "I can offer little else but I do have this map of the defense of Libellus if you are interested in it."
  237. <Baruch> Aiden, roll persuasion + charm
  238. <Baruch> no presence
  239. <Baruch> Presence + char <Silas_> "He was fleeing Libellus as we were leaving"
  240. <Baruch> "Well, at least that much adds up. Show me that map."
  241. <Silas_> "He seems to know Gustbran, and does seem... harmless"
  242. <Aiden> !roll 1d10+1
  243. <Servitor> Aid1+1
  244. <Aiden> (lol)
  245. <Silas_> (no luck)
  246. <Baruch> haha
  247. * Aiden shows the map
  248. <Baruch> roll for botch
  249. <Aiden> !roll 1d10
  250. <Servitor> Aid
  251. <Baruch> Ok no botch
  252. <Baruch> do you want to use confidence?
  253. <Silas_> (question is, can you fly if you don't)
  254. <Aiden> (hmmm...)
  255. <Ramon> (The typical punish me background you have there oO)
  256. <Aiden> (I guess that narrows it down. Yeah I'll use it.)
  257. <Baruch> Ok, so 3+1 = 4
  258. <Baruch> Scratch one point from your char sheet
  259. <Aiden> (already done)
  260. <Baruch> "I don't trust you. You are a spy. Maybe you are here to spy on us? I don't have any evidence about you doing anything against us, however, so I'll let you stay for now. One false move, though, and you're off the edge."
  261. <Silas_> (that was surprisingly gentle, for Antonius...)
  262. <Silas_> )
  263. <Baruch> Antonius addresses one of the grogs at the do. Keep him under constant surveillance, and do not let him anywhere near the towers for now.""
  264. <Baruch> At this point, Makara addresses Antonius, after having had a quiet conversation with William
  265. <Aiden> "I understand. I appreciate this and will work hard to show you I can be useful!"
  266. <Baruch> Makara rooster here wishes to say the following, high mage. Most esteemed lord of these sky-bound lands! I, William of Epworth, and my flock, all refugees from a grand realm below, driven away from our ancestral land by the lack of shelter, request lodgings, as entailed by the covenant undersigned by my people and your minions."
  267. <Baruch> Antonious: What is this? Can someone explain what this rooster is doing in my office, please?"
  268. * Silas_ tries hard not to find it amusing
  269. <Baruch> "Silas, stop smirking and explain."
  270. <Silas_> "Makara and I made a deal with these chicken"
  271. <Silas_> "They used the boat as shelter and to get the boat and aid them, we struck a deal that Makara and I both think can aid our city"
  272. <Silas_> "We give them lodgings and food, in return for their unfertilized eggs"
  273. * Ramon is now known as Large_Peasant
  274. <Baruch> "So we get a bunch of chicken? What about this one? Why does it have a crown?"
  275. <Silas_> "William, is a magical beast though, which is nothing if not interesting, surely"
  276. <Baruch> "Yes, a magical creature, to be sure. Is it dangerous?"
  277. <Silas_> "It appears to be more pompous than dangerous..."
  278. <Silas_> "I would think it harmless, but he takes good care of his flock"
  279. <Baruch> "Well, do with them what you would. I am sure the peasants would be happy to get a few extra layers."
  280. <Silas_> "Another... small thing, we promised that a chicken of his flock to be healed"
  281. <Baruch> "Deal with that as you see fit, I am not interested."
  282. <Silas_> "As you wish"
  283. <Silas_> [does a small bow]
  284. <Baruch> "Silas and Makara, I want you to keep an eye out for the spy. Do not let him know anything he shouldn't, yes?"
  285. <Baruch> "Dismissed"
  286. <Silas_> (brb, just have to return a call, I'll be qiock)
  287. <Baruch> As you leave the office, a small grog comes to walk beside Aiden.
  288. <Large_Peasant> "He-help So-Someo-one, Pl-Ple-ease He-help"
  289. <Aiden> !
  290. <Large_Peasant> (As there apear still a bit time I start with the first part of what I have thought out)
  291. <Baruch> You are approached by a peasant pleading for help. What do you do
  292. <Silas_> (bacl)
  293. 01 <Gustbran> "What's the matter?"
  294. <Aiden> (Hi nyaa)
  295. <Nyaa> (hi)
  296. <Large_Peasant> "Ch-Children i-i-n a A Bu-uild-ding that bbb-bro-oken dd-oown!
  297. <Gustbran> "What!? What happened? Where?!"
  298. <Silas_> (we just landed with the chickens and explained it all to Antonius, he's allowed them to stay)
  299. <Baruch> You are outside the temple on the plaza
  300. <Aiden> (but I'm under surveillance..)
  301. <Baruch> If anyone wants to join in with their character, now would be good
  302. <Silas_> (detail)
  303. <Baruch> Schwarzbart, will you take over from here? If so, then I'll bring in Baruch
  304. <Large_Peasant> "Fff-ooll-low"
  305. <Silas_> (I have to run in ~ 10 minutes, it was my ride telling me they were nearby)
  306. * Nyaa is now known as Makara
  307. <Silas_> (I'll pass I'm afraid, but best of luck!)
  308. <Gustbran> (nyaa I'll email you the full log when we're through)
  309. <Makara> (k)
  310. <Baruch> Baruch was taking care of some business in one of the districts, and now flies over to greet you
  311. <Baruch> "Good to see you are back. And you managed to bring the boat, I see, wwe
  312. <Silas_> (We still haven't healed the chicken Makara, but we're allowed to deal with it. Aiden still has the Vis he owes I think)
  313. <Baruch> "well done"
  314. <Makara> (pretend I was treating it while you talk to antonoious)
  315. <Baruch> No you were there
  316. <Baruch> William is buggering you about it, though
  317. <Baruch> And you know it would cost 5 vis to ritually heal Alvina
  318. <Large_Peasant> "SS-iir yyy-ouu al-lsss-o hehe-lp?" (Directed toward Baruch)
  319. <Silas_> "Thank you! There seems to be some problems though here though"
  320. <Makara> Anyone with better healing skill than me?
  321. <Baruch> Which would be a hard sell
  322. <Silas_> (I don't have much in way of creo or animal..., we could point the chickens in one of the others direction though I suspect)
  323. <Baruch> Baruch to peasaPeople trapped in a building, you say? Yes, show me where."
  324. 01 <Gustbran> (How many vis did I give up for the trip?)
  325. 06 * Large_Peasant move as fast as he can toward the angelic quarters
  326. <Baruch> (I think you offered them one?)
  327. <Baruch> Ok, so who goes with the peasant?
  328. <Baruch> Baruch does, for one.
  329. <Silas_> "I should go, I don't want to leave Aedith and Amaranth alone for too long"
  330. <Makara> "I will go tend to the chicken"
  331. <Silas_> (and I have to run, sorry guys, but best of luck and thanks for the run)
  332. <Baruch> Baru'm sure we can handle this
  333. <Baruch> (Ok, bye! Thanks for this)

  339. <Servitor> Baruch, te
  340. <Baruch> Thanks
  341. <Large_Peasant> (thanks)
  342. 01 <Gustbran> (np)
  343. <Baruch> So Makara is dealing with the chicken; should we play that firsT?
  344. <Makara> nah, later
  345. 06 * Aiden follows the peasant.
  346. 06 * Gustbran follows the peasant
  347. 06 * Large_Peasant lead to a building that is near the Garden of Grains and Apples in the Angelic Quarters and some people already gatered around
  348. <Baruch> The peasant goes in the same direction where the chicken coops of the city are
  349. <Baruch> So that would be where the chicken are going as well
  350. <Makara> (a bunch of mage and chicken walking down the road.)
  351. <Makara> (totally normal sight)
  352. 01 <Gustbran> (haha)
  353. <Baruch> Baruch to peasaWhat is the problem here?"
  354. <Large_Peasant> There is still some dust in the air
  355. <Large_Peasant> and the building apparently droped a complet etage downward compared to the other ruins
  356. <Large_Peasant> "Ch-hi-ldd-ren ii-n ii-tt" he says with tears in the eys
  357. <Baruch> Is it stone or wood?
  358. <Large_Peasant> (Stone)
  359. <Large_Peasant> (With wood mixed in but manly stone)
  360. <Baruch> Any windows or doors or such visible?
  361. <Gustbran> (ow.. pretty heavy)
  362. <Large_Peasant> (There 3 normal peasant who try to remove the smaler stones but ist clear to much for them)
  363. * Gustbran gets to work helping the peasants.
  364. <Baruch> So it's completely collapsed?
  365. * Makara stay as this seem serious
  366. <Large_Peasant> Yes apearntly a big part of the building colapsed in some kind of hollow space below it
  367. <Baruch> "This is not my strength, unfortunately" - seems worried
  368. * Makara ask the rock if there's any surviving children beneath them.
  369. <Large_Peasant> there also some larg woodbars in it
  370. * Large_Peasant is now known as cildren
  371. <cildren> You hear some very silent crying from below
  372. <cildren> Some of the peasant chough from the dust build up from the colaps
  373. <Baruch> (Sorry, had to deal with some stuff inbetween, getting back to thinking this now)
  374. <cildren> (No problem just tell me what your planing to do as the situation should be clear now)
  375. <Aiden> "I'm afraid that my specialty is in Vim magic. Alone I can't do much."
  376. <Baruch> (Damn, this is really tricky for me as wel
  377. <Makara> (Did I broke your game
  378. <cildren> extrem muffled with sobs inbetwean "Mutti ich mag zu meiner Mutti" (Angelic Quarter dialect if anyone understand it I translate ^^)
  379. <Gustbran> (damn they didn't have babelfish back then...)
  380. <Baruch> I'll spont Chamber of Spring Breezes to make sure they have air
  381. * Makara asking the rock to pinpoint the children location
  382. <Baruch> (Leider ist mutti kein terram hexe)
  383. <cildren> (You have no visual line to them so it will be difficult to find the right place)
  384. <Makara> (who cildren?)
  385. <Baruch> !roll 1d10+31
  386. <Servitor> Baru331
  387. <Baruch> Goes of easily, so a breeze of air circulates through the rocks
  388. <cildren> A Hearing based Awearness roll followed with a Finnesse roll would be good baruch

  398. <Servitor> Gustbran, (str+athletics for any progress on moving the rock14
  399. <cildren> Some of the stones start to move downward but when you already feared the worst it stoped
  400. <Baruch> What's around the location?
  401. <cildren> Yes Gustbran get one of the large stones of together with the Large Peasant
  402. <cildren> @baruch some other ruined buildings that are meke to living quartes with wooden substructures
  403. <cildren> err make = made
  404. <cildren> and on your back is a Barrly field
  405. <Gustbran> (barley?)
  406. <Baruch> (brb, sorry)
  407. <cildren> yes barley
  408. * cildren is now known as large_Peasant
  409. <Gustbran> (those poor kids are so gonna die.)
  410. <Gustbran> (I don't see much that we can do.)
  411. <large_Peasant> "I'Mm MMaark"
  412. * Makara realize that it's baruch that's fated to solve this problem, so he goes away with the chicken.
  413. <large_Peasant> (Such thing was suposed to happen earlyer or later at this covenant)
  414. <Baruch> (back)
  415. <large_Peasant> Some people that come past just look and talk
  416. <Baruch> I'll try to tell them to help us move the rocks, and join in
  417. <large_Peasant> Make a Com+ Leadership roll
  418. <Baruch> !roll 1d10+2
  419. <Servitor> Baru2
  420. <large_Peasant> You got some to help but most of them just look at you as if you are mad
  421. <Baruch> I get an idea I don't li fly over to the emerald tower where my parens Octavianus is
  422. <Gustbran> (can I try for leadership?)
  423. <Baruch> He's a terram master, but we hate each other
  424. <Baruch> I'll try to convince him to help, let's say it's difficulty 12, given that he's an ass and doesn't really give a shit
  425. <large_Peasant> (Sure Gust)
  426. <Gustbran> !roll 1d10+5 (com+leadership)

  432. <Baruch> (This really isn't my day)
  433. <Baruch> Octavianus throws me out a forcibly as he dares, apparently
  434. <large_Peasant> "Haha your even not be able to move some rocks? How pitfull I just dont have time for you"
  435. <Baruch> But I'll be away from the scene, I fear
  436. <Baruch> For a while
  437. <large_Peasant> @Gustbran you manage to get the people to work , no problem
  438. <large_Peasant> if not by word a view at your spear confinced everyone
  439. <Gustbran> (haha)
  440. <Gustbran> "put your backs into it!"
  441. <large_Peasant> Slowly it get dark but the people work like mad with gustbran at theyr back
  442. <Baruch> I'll fly back as soon as I can, and get to helping them
  443. <large_Peasant> @baruch you see now around 10 people working there
  444. <Aiden> !roll 1d10+1 (str+athletics for helping with the smaller pieces)
  445. <Servitor> Aiden, (str+athletics for helping with the smaller piece1
  446. <Aiden> (haha)
  447. <large_Peasant> But the coordination is realy bad as part of them not speaking Latin
  448. * Gustbran is doing the best he can to coordinate in english and latin
  449. <Gustbran> (where's corbenik?)
  450. <Baruch> I'll try to spont some unseen arm to move some of the bigger ones.
  451. <Baruch> !roll 1d10+20 (This will have to be divided by two, then by two agai
  452. <Servitor> Baruch, (This will have to be divided by two, then by two agai: 220
  453. <large_Peasant> (Do you know the difficulty?)
  454. <Corbenik> (In the pub)
  455. <Baruch> There's no difficulty check as such
  456. <Baruch> It can slowly move a nonliving thing, "Control or move dirt in a slightly unnatural fashion"
  457. <large_Peasant> (OK)
  458. <Baruch> So since it barely works, I should be able to move a rock of any size with it I think
  459. <Gustbran> "I'm going to go get some other help from the grogs!"
  460. <Baruch> The guidelines for terram are a bit vague on that I think
  461. * Gustbran runs off.
  462. <Makara> (meh, and makara have hands of grasping earth too)
  463. <Baruch> (No wait, my sponting spell only moves a really small stone
  464. <Baruch> (I realize after studying the guidelines)
  465. <Baruch> (So that doesn't help at all )
  466. <large_Peasant> (Except your fatigued)
  467. <Baruch> (Yeah)
  468. <large_Peasant> Gustbran you probably find many Grog at the Pub by now
  469. <Gustbran> "Come on! There's been a collapse!"
  470. * Gustbran rallies the grogs.
  471. <Corbenik> "?"{stands up]
  472. <Makara> (Am I lagging?)
  473. <large_Peasant> (make a leadership roll)

  479. <large_Peasant> (Yea nearly all of the Grogs in the tavern follow you to help)
  480. <large_Peasant> (err pub)
  481. <Makara> (I guess I'm lagging)
  482. <Baruch> (I don't think so, Makara. It's hard to tell, though, of course)
  483. <Corbenik> [following Gustbran]
  484. <Makara> (dunno, guess I will just leave it to you guys)
  485. <Baruch> (Makara? Your connection is working fine, I think)
  486. <Gustbran> (I can read you nyaa!)
  487. <Makara> (welp, only gm I guess)
  488. <large_Peasant> (Sorry I actuall didn't think that this simple thing take so long ^^)
  489. <Gustbran> (haha)
  490. <Baruch> (Haha, it's surprisingly difficult, yea.)
  491. <Makara> (I would had solve it already if you respond to m)
  492. <large_Peasant> (Sorry Makara what have I missed?)
  493. <Makara> (I asked to rock to find the children)
  494. <large_Peasant> (This kind of Rock is silent to you sorry its not direct elemental)
  495. <large_Peasant> (Or do you have a other ability for this?)
  496. <Gustbran> (I hope the grogs together can do this or else we're screwed)
  497. <large_Peasant> Yes the first children got found already when your coming back Gust
  498. <Makara> (nah, just had a spell, but I already leave with the chicken since it's destiny thing for baruch to deal with it)
  499. <large_Peasant> (Ah didnt know about this -.-')
  500. <Makara> (nah, I mean spell that make hands)
  501. <large_Peasant> (but I just looked up after you left and rejoined there was no action anouncment from you Makara)
  502. <Makara> (well because I left)
  503. <Makara> (oh you mean before)
  504. <large_Peasant> (No after the one bevore is what I missed)
  505. <Makara> (well you seems to be busy and didn't respond about my rock thing so I just move out of the way)
  506. <large_Peasant> (Sorry)
  507. <Makara> (moving on)
  508. <Baruch> (Ok, so the grogs join to help us)
  509. <Baruch> (I'm all ins with the rocks, sweaty and all)
  510. <large_Peasant> Ok with the Help of Makaras Spell and the many Grog you get a 7 year old girl and a 5 year old boy out of this both alive but wounded
  511. <Gustbran> (corbenik with the languages should be able to coordinate much better)
  512. <large_Peasant> But everyone is tired after this.
  513. <Corbenik> [panting]
  514. <Baruch> What fatigue level am I at, given that I already lost one before, and have been working most of the time
  515. <Gustbran> [to the kids] "what happened?"
  516. <large_Peasant> "My Ch-Ch-ildren hhaa ave mm-yy tt-hhhanks"
  517. * large_Peasant is now known as Girl
  518. * Girl is now known as small_Girl
  519. <Gustbran> (She's shrinking!)
  520. <Corbenik> [WITCH!!!!!!!!!!!]
  521. <Baruch> <small_Girl> "We played in our home then boom and I was under stones" snief
  522. <small_Girl> (Girl was taken by someone at this server)
  523. <Gustbran> (can anyone determine if there was a magic explosion?)
  524. <Baruch> (I'm probably too tired to spont anything more)
  525. <small_Girl> Can everyone make a per + awearnes roll
  526. <small_Girl> (Yes Baruch you got a other Fatugue level from this work)
  527. <Corbenik> !roll 1d10-1 (+1 if spotting)
  528. <Servitor> Corbenik, (+1 if spottin1
  529. <small_Girl> (So you have to rest)

  545. <Gustbran> !roll 1d10+3
  546. <Servitor> Gustbr1+3
  547. <small_Girl> @ Aiden you see there is aperently a tunnel that was running below the house and one side is now visible
  548. <small_Girl> (Gust botch?)
  549. <Gustbran> !roll 1d10
  550. <Servitor> Gustbr
  551. <small_Girl> @ Aiden but it would clearl need a lot more work to get it free
  552. * Aiden points this out to the others.
  553. <small_Girl> I think we fold this for today the tunnel is a other stor where I need to talk to CJ first
  554. <small_Girl> err story
  555. <Baruch> Yeah. Baruch is too tired to do anything about that, and any exploration will have to be later
  556. <Makara> seems like part of the covenant unexplore area
  557. <Gustbran> (yeah, we can always explore that at a later time.. Say even after paris.)
  558. <small_Girl> (I hope I wasn't to bad as GM and Makara sorry that I missed our action)
  559. <Baruch> Maybe we should wrap up with Makara and the chicken? What do you intend to do about it?
  560. <Makara> (is okay)
  561. <Makara> do we have a animal healer in covenant?
  562. <Baruch> (No, thanks for doing that, Schwarzbart. It just turns out Baruch isn't too good with that kind of stuf)
  563. <Makara> if not I will gather 5 vis and do this
  564. <Baruch> Makaome of the grogs handle animals, of course. You suspect chicken that are wounded this badly would usually be slaughtered rather than healed, though
  565. <Makara> magical healing
  566. <Baruch> Where do you get the vis?
  567. <Baruch> It has to be either creo or animal
  568. <Makara> do I have some?
  569. <Baruch> Particularly animal is in very short supply, since the covenant doesn't have a source
  570. <Baruch> I don't know; CJ hasn't said anything about you getting your yearly share yet, so probably not
  571. <Baruch> This is really soon after your gauntlet, anyway
  572. <small_Girl> (No he sayed we get it next year)
  573. <Baruch> The system is such that every full member of the covenant gets a share yearly
  574. <Baruch> And all the rest belongs to the covenant
  575. <small_Girl> (so 1214 we have no own vis)
  576. <Baruch> So is behind Antonius
  577. <Baruch> Ok, so you don't have any
  578. <Makara> is it possible to do it with 1 vis now and 4 more later?
  579. <Baruch> Not really. The medium wound ritual is magnitude 5, ie level 25, and has to be cast in one go, 1 vis per magnitude
  580. <Baruch> Would you be able to cast it anyway? If you haven't learned the spell, you probably couldn't
  581. <Makara> I have the spell
  582. <Baruch> ok
  583. <Makara> 25 will be tough though
  584. <Makara> so I guess spamming rego on her leg until I get some?
  585. <small_Girl> (Why not give her a increased recovery?)
  586. <Makara> (what would that be?)
  587. <Baruch> Yeah, you know you can hasten her recovery by sponting creo animal
  588. <Makara> (number?)
  589. <Baruch> It depends on high high you roll; faster recovery is higher level
  590. <Makara> alright I will do that at the coop
  591. <Baruch> +9 for a month is 20, you probably can't spont that
  592. <Baruch> ok
  593. <Makara> spont use what stat?
  594. <Baruch> But for a day, +3 is level 5
  595. <Baruch> You would roll 1d10+animal+creo+aura+stamina
  596. <Baruch> and then halve that
  597. <Makara> half the bonus or half the result?
  598. <Baruch> Halve the whole thing
  599. <Makara> both?
  600. <Baruch> So if that roll would total, say, 20, then your result would be 10, and you could cast level 10
  601. <Makara> k
  602. <small_Girl> (but you should go for moth because the recover she haved bevore the spell wont count)
  603. <Makara> so +9 then
  604. <Baruch> +3 for a month is level 10, or +1 (very small bonus) for a month is 5
  605. <Baruch> Ok, so you'll have to go for 5 probably. Roll that, so we'll see what you get
  606. <Makara> is the +1 the bonus?
  607. <Baruch> What bonus?
  608. <Makara> ehh I will just roll
  609. <Baruch> Ah, the recovery bonus, yes
  610. <Baruch> it's the bonus the chicken gets to recovery rolls
  611. <Baruch> You can just take it to mean how much better she heals - 9 is very good, 1 is not that much
  612. <Makara> and waving and loud noise is +2
  613. <Baruch> Oh yeah, so 11 with waving
  614. <Gustbran> go for it
  615. <Makara> !roll 1d10+18
  616. <Servitor> Maka218
  617. <Makara> I think I make it to +3 recovery
  618. <Gustbran> I think so too. Cut it in half makes at least 10
  619. <Baruch> Yeah, that's good enough for +3 for a month
  620. <Baruch> So that should help alvina quite a bit
  621. <Makara> so the estimate time for her full recovery is?
  622. <Gustbran> Are we done with the magic dice for real now?
  623. * small_Girl is now known as Ramon
  624. <Baruch> You don't know unless you have some knowledge on animal handling
  625. <Gustbran> !roll 1d10
  626. <Servitor> Gustbr
  627. <Makara> I have animal handling
  628. <Baruch> Ok, roll that with intelligence
  629. <Makara> !roll 1d10+6
  630. <Servitor> Maka16
  631. <Baruch> Ok, you know it's going to be several months in any case
  632. <Baruch> What do you tell William?
  633. <Makara> <Gustbran> hehe... I can see it now...
  634. <Ramon> (the recovery roll is onc a month for medium wounds)
  635. <Gustbran> "sorry, we're broke right now..."
  636. Makara tell William that his wife will heal in several months instead of several years, he will come regular to speed up the process until she is fully healed.
  637. <Ramon> (improvment is a roll stamina+ Magical Aid+ Stress Die vs 12)
  638. <Makara> (good to know)
  639. <Makara> (I have base 12 already anyway)
  640. <Ramon> (The chicken have to make this roll)
  641. <Baruch> Ok, roll communication + animal ken, makara
  642. <Baruch> By the way, you can also help her heal with your animal handling, if you visit to take a look at her every once in a whlie. Do you want to do that?
  643. <Makara> my aura of ennobled presense spell is still on right?
  644. <Makara> yes
  645. <Baruch> Yeah, you can have that
  646. <Baruch> Ok, your visits improve the prognosis even further, but it will still take months
  647. <Makara> (would friendly communication count for specility?)
  648. <Baruch> Yeah, ok
  649. <Baruch> would
  650. <Baruch> (I have to go soon)
  651. <Gustbran> (mee too)
  652. <Makara> !roll 1d10+4
  653. <Makara> !roll 1d10+4
  654. <ChickenBot> Maka4
  655. <magic_dice> Maka14
  656. <Makara> oh just a delay
  657. <Makara> good to have 1
  658. <Gustbran> (hahahahaha)
  659. <Ramon> (OK I'm off for today have a nice weekend all)
  660. <Baruch> Ok, you manage to convince William this is how it has to be, but he does seem pretty insulted about it
  661. <Baruch> thanks for this! See you next time
  662. <Corbenik> Okay
  663. <Makara> see ya
