- Word roots (list 1) - With your partners try to think of one or two words to explain the meanings of each root.

- ad (advocate, addition, advance) = onto/toward
- aer/aero (aerial, aerate) = air
- agri/agro (agriculture, agribusiness, agrarian) = field/farm
