Heries: Wake up

You startle awake and when you do, you suddenly wish you were back doing more dream quests. Suddenly awaking to pain is not something you wanted. Gingerly you reach up to touch your nose, only to recoil. It's broken for sure. What the fuck did you do last night?

It takes a few minutes for you to collect your thoughts as you stretch and recoil again. Your ribs are killing you. Ah yes, Lokkie dropped on you from above. No wonder they hurt. A quick glance in the bathroom mirror reveals your black eye and bruised face. Fuck that hurts. Quietly you wince when you see yourself. At least your eye isn't swollen completely shut.

Carefully shuffle your way back to the bed and curl up in the covers. You ache and hurt and it hits you what you did.

You attacked Rache.

That hurts more than the physical pain you're going through right now. Spot a lifeshake on the bedside table. It's still cool to the touch, and you gratefully suck it down.

Now how can you fix this?

Nothing comes to mind right away, but instead you continue to hurt. Maybe... maybe everyone would be better off without you. You attacked one of the people you love, just because instinct overrides everything.
