  12. Mai 22 19:05:55 <DontAskForCookies> Our story begins, as so few do, in a garage. Unlike most of the garages in Equestria that could be found one hundred and sixty years after the great war, this one was not rusted, moldy, or falling apart in the least. It was however very dusty.

Mai 22 19:06:02 <DontAskForCookies> The lights that began to flicker to life as the sounds of hoofs approached illuminated a mostly empty space, the few peices of equipment remaining covered in thick plastic tarps, only barely transparent after months of dust and the years of stained them yellow.
  14. Mai 22 19:06:10 <DontAskForCookies> About the only items in the room not coated in a layer of dust were the cleaning supplies left out in the middle of the room, buckets of water and boxes of abraxo cleaner laid out next to a pile of cleaning brushes.
  15. Mai 22 19:06:19 <DontAskForCookies> Then came the ponies, first the ones being punished (all five of them) and then the three guards. Little did they know that today would be the day that fate grab them up and throw them onto a course they never could have predicted.
  16. Mai 22 19:09:27 * Gizmo sighed as he went to grab some cleaning supplies and a bucket of water. 'Why am I getting punished? All i did was hide under a table while everything happened.' He thought to himself. 'But nooo, they had to take me in and punish me.'
  17. Mai 22 19:09:35 * Trefoil prattles on to no one in particular, the visor on her helmet still flipped up, "So then I proofed the bitch, and you'll never guess what? He was /right/! Damn glass nearly blew up!"
  18. Mai 22 19:09:41 * Puzzler trotts in after the rest of the ponies. Quickly moving away from the group as they enter. The grey pegasus ponders the situation for a while before moving up to the cleaning equipment, looking at it for a second before taking a brush in his mouth. Then backing away so the rest of the ponies can get theirs.
  19. Mai 22 19:10:11 * Trefoil stops some distance back from the 'prisoners' and yawns.
  20. Mai 22 19:10:41 * Hospice frowned in indignation as she looked at the cleaning supplies. "W-wait. They can't honestly expect someone like ME to just clean this nasty room," she thought to herself.
  21. Mai 22 19:11:08 * Violet stands around only half paying attention. Guard detail like this...well you could get a half-dead zombie to do it.
  22. Mai 22 19:11:21 <DontAskForCookies> The other two mares collect their brushes and scoot off to a private corner, obviously intent on sticking together.
  23. Mai 22 19:11:42 * Trefoil waves a hoof until she stops yawning, "Uh huh, they sure do Hospice!"
  24. Mai 22 19:12:22 * Puzzler unsure on what cleaning equipment that should be user where he watches the other ponies. Notices that Gizmo has taken a bucket of wate, he does the same and starts cleaning the floor in the garage.
  25. Mai 22 19:12:25 * Violet watches the two mares scamper off together curiously but doesn't really pay themm to much attention after a few seconds "I know it's shitty, but you gotta do it."
  26. Mai 22 19:12:26 * Hospice turned pale white. Was she just thinking out loud? She supposed she had to have been.
  27. Mai 22 19:12:30 * Gizmo started to scruba section of the wall. He had been in this garage before, after all, he was one of the few repair ponies left in the Stable. He just never wanted to clean it. He heard some other ponies talking behind him and islently cursed them for getting himself into this.
  28. Mai 22 19:13:32 * Trefoil can read work detail pony's minds! It is one of her many talents.
  29. Mai 22 19:13:35 * Steel_Innocence follows, keeping an attentive eye on the mean ponies and the bucket and the big things around and the dust above them. The dust coat was so thick dig it. A hoof swipe cleared a bit of blastic, so she proceeded to draw a happy face, so the dirty thing wouldn't be so sad
  30. Mai 22 19:13:57 * Hospice gingerly picked up a cleaning brush in disgust. She looked at it with disdain and continued to hold it, doing nothing to actually help clean.
  31. Mai 22 19:15:01 * Puzzler nervously looks back to the guards every few second to make sure they ain't looking at him. Really trying his best to clean that floor! Brushie brushie!
  32. Mai 22 19:15:48 * Violet plops down onto her plot, throwing up a cloud of dust and making her sneeze violently
  33. Mai 22 19:15:49 * Trefoil watches everypony get to work, especially Steel_Innocence. Had to keep an eye on her.
  34. Mai 22 19:15:55 * Gizmo put down his brush in the water and looked over to the others. Hospice, not actually cleaning, Steel_Innocence, busy practicing her art skills it seemed, and Puzzler, actually doing work. He turned to Hospice. "Look at it this way, the sooner we get done the sooner you can leave this dirty place." He grimaced at the mentioning of calling a garage dirty.
  35. Mai 22 19:16:19 * Trefoil snickers at Violet, "Heh heh, gonna have to make them scrub you next Vi."
  36. Mai 22 19:17:44 * Violet is violently rubbing her nose with a hoof "Probably. Why'd they let it get so damn dusty in here, anyways?"
  37. Mai 22 19:17:56 * Steel_Innocence steps back, looking at the ponies cleaning big things
  38. Mai 22 19:18:13 * Puzzler has quick look around the room when he thinks nopony is looking. What is storaged in here anyway? He think to himself.
  39. Mai 22 19:18:33 <Trefoil> "'cause nopony's ever in here, maintenance has better things to do then clean up a bunch of wagons the overmare doesn't want us to touch."
  40. Mai 22 19:18:47 * Hospice whispered toward Gizmo. "Do we? We have 48 hours of public service or whatever they call it. Rather, wouldn't the sooner we're done, the sooner we get thrown into nastier rooms?"
  41. Mai 22 19:19:16 <DontAskForCookies> A small mote of stale smelling lint floats onto Violets shiney ne medal. From the wall next to the entrance the soft crackle of static from the radio proadcast terminal echos out across the mostly empty room as it awakes and poors in the now one and only radio station, a constant soothing smooth jazz melody that the overmare particularly enjoyed.
  42. Mai 22 19:19:20 * Violet scratches her mane "I guess. I just want this to be over with as much as the rest of these ponies do."
  43. Mai 22 19:19:41 * Trefoil picks up a disgarded nut and tosses it towards Gizmo and Hospice, "No talking!"
  44. Mai 22 19:20:11 <Trefoil> *towards Gizmo and Hospice with a practice motion from her telekenisis.
  45. Mai 22 19:20:18 * Gizmo looked to Hospice. "True, but it might not always be cleaning." He whispered back. "I honestly just want to get back to my garage, not this haunted place." Gizmo flinches as he is hit by the nut. "Ouch!" He goes over and picks up his brush then starts to clean again.
  46. Mai 22 19:20:22 * Steel_Innocence frowns at Trefoil. "Don't be so mean..."
  47. Mai 22 19:20:37 <Violet> "Awww let 'em talk, Tre. As long as they do the work I don't see why it matters."
  48. Mai 22 19:21:15 * Puzzler quickly goes back to scrubbing the floor! Really hoping that the guards would leave him alone.
  49. Mai 22 19:21:17 * Hospice frowns a little at Gizmo's optimism. Hospice took her brush, sauntered toward a bucket of water, dipped the brush into the water, and then continued once again to do nothing.
  50. Mai 22 19:21:28 * Trefoil winces at the sound of her own voice, or the radio, or Steel calling her out. Rubbing her face with a hoof, she sighs, "My head is killing me, that's why. And the medic ain't working either, so there."
  51. Mai 22 19:22:04 * Trefoil sticks her tongue out at Steel_Innocence, "I didn' mean to hit'im Steel, honest!"
  52. Mai 22 19:22:55 * Gizmo smiles at the sound of the radio. "Ahh, such a nice sound, the crackle." He says softly to himself as he finishes a small section of the garage, a very small section.
  53. Mai 22 19:22:57 * Violet snorts...which causes her to sneeze again "Fuck! Hospice, do something or I'll personally make sure you get 48 hours of work."
  54. Mai 22 19:23:05 * Steel_Innocence blinks and assents. "Oh, okay."
  55. Mai 22 19:23:25 * Puzzler puts on his goggles. Somehow they always made him feel safer. Flexes his wings for a second while trying to a particullary dusty spot
  56. Mai 22 19:23:31 * Trefoil sighs, "Seriously kids, I didn't.... damn hangover's throwing off my aim."
  57. Mai 22 19:24:10 * Trefoil smirks, "Only one way to fix that!"
  58. Mai 22 19:24:42 * Hospice recoiled again at being called out on. "W-what? Why are they picking on me?" the mare thought. She turned shyly towards Violet and murmured, "Sorry, I'm just...making sure the brush is nice and hydrated." She continued dipping the brush into the bucket of water and being completely unproductive in her attempt to avoid work.

  60. Mai 22 19:25:50 <DontAskForCookies> The sound of Over-Mare Civil Order's pre-recorded voice echo's across the room from the radio, temporarily interupting the signal to anounce that the time was now 4pm

  62. Mai 22 19:26:15 * Trefoil clicks her tongue as she pulls a fifth of scotch and a tumbler out of her mostly empty grenade pouch, "Now now Hospice, don't let the floor get dehydrated!"

  64. Mai 22 19:26:42 * Violet gives Tre an evil little smile.
  65. Mai 22 19:26:44 * Gizmo recoiled back at the sound of the Overmare's voice. "I hate what shes done to the radio." He says a little too loudly.
  66. Mai 22 19:26:49 * Steel_Innocence looks confused at Trefoil. "Hang... over? Did you fall?"
  67. Mai 22 19:27:47 * Trefoil floats the bottle around and pours herself a finger. Putting the bottle back, she inclines the glass towards Steel as she ticks off several locations, "Off my bed this morning, in the shower, down the stairs."
  68. Mai 22 19:28:25 * Trefoil whispers back to Violet, out of the side of her mouth
  69. Mai 22 19:28:58 * Puzzler looks up from his cleaning for a second. Taking a deep breath and trotts over to the next section that needs to be cleaned.
  70. Mai 22 19:28:59 * Hospice nodded insincerely at the guards. After the brush was completely sopping wet, Hospice used her magic to levitate it to the ground, randomly moving it every few seconds in a way that didn't make the floor any cleaner at all.
  71. Mai 22 19:29:36 * Steel_Innocence 's eyes fill with sympathy. "Oh, I'm sorry..."
  72. Mai 22 19:29:39 * Trefoil gestures at the vehicles with her glass, still looking down at Violet.
  73. Mai 22 19:29:46 * Violet pouts at Tre "Awww you're no fun."
  74. Mai 22 19:30:58 * Gizmo looks around and starts to open the lockers to clean the insides of them
  75. Mai 22 19:30:58 * Hospice also noticed she wasn't actually using any of the cleaner. She was just randomly jerking a wet brush on the ground every few seconds, that simply made the dust soggy. But she didn't care, the goal was to look like she was doing work, not actually clean the room.
  76. Mai 22 19:31:33 * Trefoil winks, "Safety first, s'what the Chief always says. Come'on Hospice, either you clean or I get a hose and do it for you!"
  77. Mai 22 19:32:22 <Trefoil> "You see where those two mares snuck off to Steel?"
  78. Mai 22 19:32:30 * Violet trots over to one of the APC's and lifts up the plastic so she can get under it and marvel at the thing she could drive but never fucking touch.
  79. Mai 22 19:33:18 <Steel_Innocence> "What mares?"
  80. Mai 22 19:33:18 * Puzzler looks up and notices the computers standing there. Grins slightly and starts cleaning them instead.
  81. Mai 22 19:33:20 * Hospice apparently completely misunderstood Trefoil's intentions, clapping together her hooves . "Oh, you're willing to help me? Thanks so much!"
  82. Mai 22 19:33:28 * Gizmo looks over to Violet and suddenly gets up and over to her. "C-careful! Those things are'nt easy to repair!"
  83. Mai 22 19:33:29 <DontAskForCookies> The two mares wince as they hear the guard speak about them, quickly hastening their cleaning as they pretend not to notice
  84. Mai 22 19:34:35 * Trefoil grins wickedly, "Oh I would love to help you Hospice, I really would. Officer Innocence, keep an eye on our friends. You too Vi! I gotta find a hose!" trots off towards the wall to find a faucet and hose.
  85. Mai 22 19:35:52 * Hospice smiled. "Yay! Looks like I don't actually have to get myself dirty. It's good, I really didn't want to have to redo my hair!", she thought to herself.
  86. Mai 22 19:35:53 * Steel_Innocence hits salute to Trefoil and nods.
  87. Mai 22 19:36:30 * Violet is under the tarp looking at the APC. she grunts not really paying attention to Tre
  88. Mai 22 19:37:26 * Puzzler cleans away at a keyboard as he notices the light comming from one of the computers. Pretends to drop his brush in a very, awkward flying motion. "Oops.." he says before quickly moving to pick it up, heading towards the glowing computer. Inspecting it closer
  89. Mai 22 19:37:36 * Steel_Innocence goes really, really close to Hospice to keep an eye on her. Her muzzle touches the back of her head.
  90. Mai 22 19:38:01 * Trefoil hums a ditty to herself, low enough that neither sound nor vibration will upset her. Finding a faucet, handily with a fire hose already attached, Trefoil twisted the knob to full open and pulls the reel out and levitates it along with her back towards Hospice at nearly a gallop.
  91. Mai 22 19:38:52 * Violet peeks out at Gizmo "Don't worry, I'm not going to do anything...It's just...well how often am I going to get a chance to look at these things? I'm sure as hell never going to get the chance to put all those driving lessons to work..."
  92. Mai 22 19:38:56 <DontAskForCookies> Puzzler finds the second to last computer terminal dose in fact have some sort of red glow comeing from underneath its plastic tarp. A feignt electronic buzzing sounds can be heard as well.
  93. Mai 22 19:39:40 * Hospice twitched as she felt an uncomfortable sensation on the back of her head. She turned toward the mare behind her and hid a frown. "W-was she trying to sniff my hair?" She spoke to the mare, "Y-yes?"
  94. Mai 22 19:39:50 * Gizmo lets out a breath and smiles. "I know, these things never get driven but they break down from lack of use everyso often." He waves and goes back to work.

  96. Mai 22 19:39:59 * Trefoil snickers as she skids to a halt behind the two mares, water leaking from behind the nozzle's control lever, "Liiiiiittle too close Steel."

  102. Mai 22 19:40:51 <Steel_Innocence> "But I can't stretch my eye!" She closes an eye and opens the other one the most she can.
  103. Mai 22 19:41:41 * Trefoil hasn't noticed Puzzler's fooling around because of her own shenanigans. She smiles, "Well, I'm back now so you don't need to keep your eye on'er anymore. Good work kid."

  116. Mai 22 19:43:17 <DontAskForCookies> Beneath the stained plastic sheet is a computer terminal, almost identical to the rest that could be found along the wall. Only this one was on, flickering on the screen are the words "Emmergency relay, please activate full power for message". Above the screen is a simple lable reading 'Stable 23 maintinance com link 7'

  119. Mai 22 19:44:37 * Trefoil points the nozzle by her side towards Hospice, the brown glow edges the handle forward until water leaks out. No longer satisfied with waiting, Trefoil calls out, "Incoming!" before throwing it full open shooting a focused stream of water at Hospice and her general area.
  120. Mai 22 19:44:44 * Gizmo looks in his peripheral vision and sees the glow of a computer screen. he doesnt stop cleaning but trys to look over to Puzzler inconspicuously.
  121. Mai 22 19:45:24 * Puzzler winces slightly at the blinking light and the message. He turns around and turns to the guards. "Uh.. Excuse me, but.. I think you should see this." he says while pointing a wing at the computer.

  123. Mai 22 19:47:04 * Puzzler "I.. t-think its a message from Stable 23." he stumbles, nervously. Hating to talk with authority
  124. Mai 22 19:47:05 * Hospice screeched as the water smashed her in the face in the middle of one of her yawns. She flew back and flipped over her head into one of the open lockers behind her that Gizmo had been cleaning. The force of her collision caused the door to slam shut on her.
  125. Mai 22 19:47:36 * Steel_Innocence rushes over the lighty thingy. "Let me see, let me see!"
  126. Mai 22 19:47:38 * Trefoil looks over Steel's back as she plays the hose over the floor after the fleeing doctor, "Message from Stable 23? Over a hardline?
  127. Mai 22 19:48:01 * Gizmo looks over to the sudden sound of the locker shutting. he rushes over and opens it to find Hospice. "O-oh my... Are you alright?" He says.
  128. Mai 22 19:48:06 * Violet frowns "Good find. 'Emergency Relay'. What do you make of that?"
  129. Mai 22 19:49:03 * Puzzler jumps as the hose starts spewing water. Then pays attention to Violet again. "Uh, I.. Im not sure. It needs more power regardless, otherwise w-we won't see the entire m-message." He stutters
  130. Mai 22 19:49:07 <Trefoil> "Exactly what it sounds like, emergency message over one ofthe redundant cabled connections to Stable 23."
  131. Mai 22 19:49:40 <Violet> "Well then we're shit out of luck. We can't read it regardless because of the wonky shit going on with the power."
  132. Mai 22 19:49:58 * Hospice started screaming and coughing out water after the door closed. Her face was smeared as her boredom immediately turned into pain and terror. She regurgitated some water again before spewing it all in front of her right as the door of the locker opened...
  133. Mai 22 19:50:59 * Trefoil cuts the water flow, watching Hospice with sudden concern. There wasn't that much pressure in the line was there? Apparently there was, and the doctor had been looking straight at her. Trefoil facehoofs, "Oh fucking shit."
  134. Mai 22 19:53:14 * Steel_Innocence keeps staring at the lighty box. "Re-lay? Is the lighty box tired?"
  135. Mai 22 19:53:47 * Hospice gave Trefoil a death stare before yelling, "S-she attacked me! For no reason! Didn't everyone else see that? You can't do that! Even if you're a member of the guard." She whispered a little, "At least not to me...". She spoke somewhat more quietely, but still angrily, "You can't do that! I'm going to tell Dad! And then he's going to tell the Overmare!"

  141. Mai 22 19:54:38 * Hospice knew that her father probably wouldn't have bothered the overmare with such petty issues, but it still felt good to make those threats.

  153. Mai 22 19:57:20 * Gizmo goes over to the lockers and pulls out some jumper cables. "Okay, xomepony just help me take the tarp off and open the engine so i can hook these up." He asks
  154. Mai 22 19:57:26 * Trefoil watches the tinkering ponies, considering whether or not she should call this in. Nah. Fuck the overmare.
  155. Mai 22 19:57:44 * Hospice turned towards Violet. "W-what!? What could be more important than the abuse of authority? Oh, you're just circling the wagons now, aren't you?" Hospice completely ignored the tinkering ponies and continued complaining.

  157. Mai 22 19:58:51 * Trefoil sprays her mess with water again, sweeping it towards one of the floor drains, "I'm gonna abuse you with the hose again if you don't hush up."

  159. Mai 22 19:59:20 * Steel_Innocence looks at all the cables in the locker, but they don't move.
  160. Mai 22 19:59:54 * Puzzler atempts to help with the tarp aswell.
  161. Mai 22 20:00:05 * Violet smiles at Puzzler "Thanks."
  162. Mai 22 20:00:23 * Gizmo smiles to Violet and opens the Engine. "You know how to drive these right? So when i give the signal, just start it up." He says hooking one side of the cables to the engine.
  163. Mai 22 20:00:31 * Hospice expected the guards to back down. They clearly hadn't, something that shocked her into more indignation. Instead of mouthing off again, she gave an indignant hmmph before kicking over a water bucket and walking over to sulk in the corner.
  164. Mai 22 20:01:07 * Trefoil cuts the hose off, "Ya'll need any help? Or should I just watch the door for the rest of our colleagues to kick in the doors?"
  165. Mai 22 20:01:34 * Steel_Innocence pretends to go away, then jumps back yelling at the cables in the locker.
