Lottogo is the first green lottery specifically for businesses and organizations to motivate employees and customers of companies or members of organizations to reduce CO2 emissions during transport by car, train, bicycle or walking. With the free app you keep track of how much CO2 you reduce when rolling out with your car or (100 gram CO2 per / km) and train (200 gram CO2 per / km). While cycling, the app records the mileage and calculates a CO2 reduction of 150 gram per / km. By train the reduction is 200 gram CO2 per / km. When walking the reduction is 250 gram CO2 per / km. When you have achieved a reduction of 500 grams of CO2, the I JOIN button appears and you can send a text message. With this text message you have a chance to win the prizes provided by the participating company or organization. Each participant can play 1 x per day (24 hrs). That is fair for everyone. The next day you start at zero again. SAFETY: While recording the CO2 reduction you can’t change the screen otherwise you reduce no CO2  and you can’t play. You’re much more alert for traffic. AUTO: When you're driving in your car, you can roll out further when your gear is in neutral about 200 meters before the stop moment. Then you consume less fuel and you make more roll out or hypermiling meters. The average CO2 reduction  also takes into account your 'brake' meters from your old driving style. When driving with cruise control on, the app will also reduce CO2 emissions because you drive more economically. 
In the car the app starts to register at a speed of 30 km p/h. Rollout meters above the 70 km p/h are not registered. The app should be used in urban areas because there rolling out is the most effective. PLAY: To play, you just need an internet connection. Therefore, the best moment to play is in the evening when you do not need to travel. The PLAY button only works when the phone isn’t moved for a certain period. INDICATOR: The CO2 emission reduction is shown as an indicator. The CO2 reduction is based on the average CO2 emissions per kilometer, as determined by the Central Government in the Compendium of Environmental Livingspace. See also www.CO2emissiefactoren.nl. The lottery also serves as a motivator for people to reduce as much CO2 as possible during their transport from A to B. PARTICIPANTS: In addition to drivers, hikers, passengers and cyclists, carpoolers can also participate as passengers because they do not use their own cars and therefore emit less CO2. Even if you work at home, you can join the lottery because after a dsy inside the house it’s healthy to go for ride on your bike.  After 5 km you’ve reached 500 grams of CO2 reduction, equivalent to the CO2 your car would’ve emit when you went to work by car. Public Transport: When traveling by train, tram or metro you can also use the roll-out meters to reduce CO2 emissions. CONDITIONS: Use the app at your own risk. The creators and providers of the app can’t be held responsible for personal and / or property damage or traffic incidents. Participants must be 18 years or older and be employed by the member company or a member of the participating organization. The companies that use the Lottogo app and organize a lottery, must comply with the Code of Conduct of the Dutch Gaming Authority Act Promotional Games of Chance in the Netherlands. A participating company may organize one lottery per year with a total of 20 draws. Per draw up to 4500 euro can be paid out in prize money or in kind.
