>As soon as you got home with her, she tucked her head inside of her fluff, much like a turtle
>You do everything within your power to coax her out
>Ball, Spaghetti, Hugsies
>Nothing works
>"Pwace scawy, fluffyshy no wike scawy pwace" is the only response you ever get
>Try to talk to her about it one day
>Ask her what's so scary about your home
>"Dis place is too big, no wike big pwaces. Munstas live in da big pwaces. Munstas twy dwown fwuffyshy."

>Tell her that nobody will be able to hurt her here
>She pops her head out of her fluff, still apprehensive
>"You nice daddy. Now wike other daddys. Dey hit fwuffyshy because fwuffyshy no pway like other fwuffys. Dey twy dwown fwuffyshy."
>You pick her up
>Raise her to eye level with you
>"No wike heights! put down!"
>You set her on the floor
>She curls back inside her fluff
>Take her to her bed
