Administrative Error [Nanoha? What is this?!]

Your actions were short-sighted.

We had no problem living alongside you, once we discovered your existence. You were larger, and stronger, and yes, all the media personalities wasted no time calling you the "next big threat"--but in the end, most of our governments desired peace. It would be an uneasy peace, to be sure, but peace nonetheless.

And then you annexed us.

We protested, of course. Fought back, with all the effort we could muster--and in the end, of course, we amounted to little more than an annoyance. You swatted our aircraft out of the sky like gnats, pulverized our battleships, captured our forces almost to a man. And in the end, we became members of your all-too-generous government, and we wept.

But not for long.

Tell me, did you really think it would end there? Did you think we would roll over, accept our subjugation meekly? Accept your new technologies and advances in exchange for our independence?

We've studied, you know.

We've studied your Devices--ripped them from the hands and bodies of the soldiers we've killed, taken them apart and put them back together just to see how they work. We know how to construct our own now, and while they may not be as elegant or well-designed as the ones you possess, they get the job done, in the end.

And while you may have predilections for the non-lethal, we have no such qualms.
