  1. Rogue:
  2.
  3. Stats:
  4. STR 11
  5. DEX 18
  6. CON 14
  7. INT 15
  8. WIS 15
  9. CHA 6
  10. LUC 11
  11.
  12. These stats are tailor-made for a Drow Rogue. STR is 11 to help you dish out a little more damage until you get Weapon Finesse, and not get too overburdened. High DEX for better scores in your skills, higher accuracy, and higher damage once you get Weapon Finesse. CON for survival. INT and WIS for skills. CHA is 6 and LUC is 10 because Drow get +2 CHA and -2 LUC, so this puts them at the normal 8.
  13.
  14. Feats:
  15. Sneaky
  16. Two-Weapon Style
  17. Weapon Finesse
  18. Expertise
  19. Defensive Synergy
  20.
  21. Sneaky is THE Rogue feat, get it from the start. From there, you can either get Two-Weapon Style or Expertise as your second starting feat, depending on if you want to emphasize offense or defense. Your feat you get at level 3 should be Weapon Finesse, for a big combat boost. From there, get the remaining feats in order of preference. You could also skip Expertise and Defensive Synergy and get more offensive dual-wield feats, or even consider feats for ranged combat, as they are proficient with thrown weapons and archery. Mobility is an option, it's nice for disengaging combat to hide and come back and sneak attack again.
  22.
  23. Skills:
  24. Rogues get a TON of skill points as a class bonus, you get much more than even a Mage does. Disguise, Poison Use, Hide, and Move Silently are the requirement skills to become an Assassin, though with this stat spread, Hide and Move Silently will already be high enough. Disguise is of limited use, but a requirement skill. Poison Use can be very handy. Move Silently and Hide are very important for Rogues, the sneak attack bonus is great and you can be practically invisible. Athletics is important for being able to run away from enemies. Lockpicking and Handle Device are useful on their own, plus lockpicking and disarming traps gives you exp.
  25.
  26. Decipher Script and Healing are extremely useful, as always. Use Magic can help you out, letting you use wands for magic, plus the Rogue class ability Trick Magic, which you can get at Rogue level 6, uses the Use Magic and Bluff skills to calculate it's success rate. Athletics is nice for the extra movement speed. Then there's the movement skills like jump, balance, climb, and escape artist, and other useful skills like Searching, Spot, and Listen, which you can work on later.
  27.
  28. Rogues can also become Shadowdancers. The skills needed are Move Silently +8, Hide +12, Perform +10, and Athletics +7.

  30. Description:
  31. They're very versatile, and the stealth system is very developed in Incursion. Rogues are considered the easiest class to win with, by a small margin. They're not mighty in combat, but they can do huge damage by sneak attacking, sometimes even managing to sneak attack enemies that are aware of their presence. They have a ton of utility with their skills, and can generally pick and choose their fights.
  32.
  33. Drow are by and far the most commonly used race for Rogues. They start with the Ambidexterity feat, which helps them along the path to dual-wielding, which Rogues are pretty good at. The infravision helps you detect hiding creatures, helping ensure you get the first hit, not them, and is very useful in general. They start with poisoned ammo for their hand crossbow. Their innate spells Faerie Fire, Globe of Shadows, and Levitate help Rogues quite a bit. Their magic resistance is quite handy, and their sharp senses help.
  34.
  35. Kobolds get nice bonuses too, though I don't like playing as small size characters. Same with Halflings.
  36.
  37. Humans make good Rogues, but I wouldn't suggest them over Drow. Rogues already have enough skill points, and Drow get just enough feats, plus they have a bunch of racial advantages over Humans.
  38.
  39. You're best off making your Rogues Neutral, Neutral Evil, or Chaotic Evil. It's hard to stay Lawful and/or Good as a Rogue, and Good Rogues can't be Assassins.
  40.
  41. Your main tactic should be taking advantage of sneak attacks. They're not great at sustained combat due to low damage output and low armor, but the sneak attack bonus is quite high, so what you should do is get a sneak attack on your enemy, back off, hide, then come back and sneak attack the enemy again, and repeat this until the enemy dies.
  42.
  43. Rogues start with poisoned arrows and a launcher, and they can help out quite a bit, even without any archery feats. Don't forget to use them.
