- The WR I got at SGDQ used a route that got 16 balloons. 16 ballons is the requirement to get into Dragon Forest and do Windmill Plains to obtain the Dragon Forest Trophy.
- However, the 1 taj challenge, 1 overworld, 3 extra race balloons are not needed for the Japanese version. That means the requirement for Japanese version is 11 balloons, making it a faster category. Here's why:
- The Japanese Version Hot Top Volcano Wrong Warp takes you to 2 locations in either the plane or car. Those 2 locations are Dragon Forest and the Overworld. So, 2 locations, 2 vehicles, that means there are 4 different possibilities for the Wrong Warp. Dragon Forest + Airplane combination is what we want, this allows me to get to Dragon Forest, and fly out of bounds into Haunted Woods (the fastest race to finish to obtain the Trophy).
- This being said, Japanese Version skips the 5 extra balloons that the English version needed, but now requires some luck on the wrong warp.
