Well, they'd all be pretty sympathetic. Paula would mostly handle it by talking to you about things in the evenings, and just making sure you get things off your chest. She's pretty busy so it's not every night, but probably around three times a week she makes sure to find some alone time with you to talk about your problems.
Tricia, she's mostly taking the "make sure he doesn't wallow and make it worse" approach by keeping you busy. Asking you for help around the farm, getting you to go into town, that kind of stuff. She'd also share a lot of knowledge with you and encourage you to study with her.
Emily has a way of showing up mysteriously whenever you're feeling really down. She uses sex, perhaps somewhat misguidedly, to cheer you up a lot, but she's good at getting you to laugh, or just do silly things around the farm. You go exploring in the nearby bay, caves, and moors with her a lot.
