Dragon Ball Rules

1.	No Drama. I can’t stress this enough but drama will not be tolerated in this room. This includes, bad mouthing another player. Picking on someone just because you think you’re entitled to it. OOC interactions becoming hostile. Harassment of any kind, sexual or not. There is a litany of things that can be considered drama. You’re adults. Act like it. If you have a dispute with another player, take it private and work it out. Ban hammer for this is very easy to swing. Don’t make me do it.

2.	Any and all fighting must be done in the T1 format. For those of you that don’t know what that is, T1 is a text based fighting system. You do not automatically hit your opponent. They decide what hits and what doesn’t, you are simply writing actions that you WANT to happen. For example, you don’t say, ‘Punches so and so directly in the ribs sending them flying backwards’. That’s not how it works. Instead, you say, ‘Flying forwards, his right arm cocks back and thrusts forwards in an attempt to punch so and so in the ribs, with enough power to send them flying backwards if it connects’.

3.	There will be no doubles allowed. Sorry to say it but I hate seeing multiples of the same characters. It gets confusing as to who is who, people have their preferences and it causes a veritable shit storm of drama. It will not happen here. There is only one exception to this rule and that is with Trunks, seeing as the Future version and the Kid version both exist within the canon at the same time. If your favorite character is taken I’m sorry but you’ll have to find another. Simple as that.

4.	Canon characters will be played like they are in the shows DB, DBZ and DBS. Not your interpretation of them, not how you think they should act. You picked a canon character, play that character. Pretty easy right?

5.	Original Character’s will be allowed within reason. For example you’re not going to have someone stronger than Whis, Beerus, or Zeno. If you’re making your character then you’ll have a chance to increase their power level through training. You do not automatically start off at God level. Keep them within reason and things will go along well.

6.	Roleplaying and posting for the room will need to be a minimum of a paragraph in length. That’s five sentences. I was debating on making it so that you have to fill up the text box with each turn but I know that’s a little much for some people. This is still pending however. Do your best to provide your partners with enough information to continue the scene, don’t leave them hanging or having to provide all the nuance to it. It’s a partnership, work with them.

7.	As for what is canon…. For right now, I’ll allow all the DBZ movies so that there can be a more broad range of what can be played. The only thing that isn’t canon to me right now is Dragon Ball GT. So no characters from that. Everything from Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and Dragon Ball Super will be considered canon unless it involves GT characters.

8.	Last one. Just have fun okay? I know this seems like a lot of rules for a room that wants to focus on fun, but trust me, if you’ve been around RPC longer than a year you know that all the things outlined above are tantamount to destroying fun. Drama, one liners, shit posters, OOC chatter when you’re trying to play a scene, double characters, Mary Sue God-modders and God powered individuals that can never be hit? Yes, those ruin things. Don’t be those and things will go swimmingly.
