  ❝—DANCING WITH THE DEVIL.❞

  ϟ CONFUSE RAY. boreum was born with a brain, she might as well use it effectively. during fights, boreum is able to think fast and come up with tactics in the nick of time; makes sense because of her powers. some of her tactics include confusing people; sometimes she'd run really fast around them until they faint and other times she likes to use the "did you see that?"-pointing-tactic and knock them out. not only does she use her brain during fights but also for survival. she finds it easy to pick things up in the outside world, and stores her knowledge for future references. she is able to remember things quite well that she was like a human camera. very observant.

  ϟ A BIT EMO? she was always interested in death. whenever she was alone in her experiment cell she'd ask herself questions;"what's it like outside?", "whose waiting for me behind these bars?", "what's it like to actually live?" and her inner voice would always give her the same answer, "death." she was not fascinated with death, but rather just curious. if someone was to ever experience death in front of her she'd react like any other: scared and in denial. but deep down, she wants to ask: "what does it feel like?"

 ϟ CATFISH LEADER. the fearless, intelligent and adventurous type, perfect to be a leader. unfortunately, that position was already taken. boreum likes to act like the leader sometimes; she wants things to go her way and for everyone to listen. she is quite stubborn when stating honest opinions on things. when she feels something is wrong or unfair she doesn't hesitate to give her honest opinion on things: no matter how dark, blunt, and low it may be; she likes to set things right.

 ϟ SLOW DOWN! boreum is VERY impatient. she cannot stay in one spot for too long, she likes to always be on the go; always on adventures to discover new things. the others trying to catch up behind her always complain about her powers and tell her to take things at a slow speed like them, but she doesn't listen; she only does if they were in actual danger and need to walk at a steady paste.

  ރ KIM SEOKJIN. these two bicker A LOT on things, but when it comes to fighting seokjin leaves it to boreum to protect him. he praises her for that. boreum even offered to give him lessons and turn him to a "man" even if he already was. their learning sessions would end up not being taken seriously however and just turns into a child's play: they both enjoy showing a humorous side to each other, even if boreum thinks he's not that funny, it's his awkwardness that makes her laugh.

 ރ DRIVE. they just instantly clicked when realizing they were so alike. boreum admired DRIVE's charisma and fighting spirit, they'd practice new tactics with each other. occasionally they have fights, but then after give each other apology notes sticked onto their favorite foods.

FIRST MEETING |

  BOREUM first meets him at the gathering. she was feeling lost and completely out of place with everyone planning this rebellion; all she wanted was to see what it was like outside, not plan world war 3. namjoon was giving a rant about what the government has done to all of them while she stayed quiet. suddenly, namjoon calls her out but, boreum was dazed with the situation. "hm?"
  "i asked if you had any good plans." he said.
  "i have plenty." that was the moment she found a use for herself during the gathering.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS |

↝ KIM NAMJOON. wasn't too fond of her inattentiveness, but grew fond of her thought out strategies.
↝ JANG BOREUM. she didn't like how she was called out, but appreciated it at the same time because she started to make use of herself.

HOW SHE ACTS AROUND HIM |
   ❝—YOU MAKE ME BEGIN, YOU MAKE ME AGAIN.❞

  BEGIN. she just sees him as a leader that she is forced to listen to, or else she'd be "thrown back in". they would often share ideas for strategies and make plans, but that was it. they did not have a specific relationship: did not see each other as best friends or lovers, just more like friends who only spoke about one topic after every other day.

  INTERLUDE. she started to get close to him when namjoon and her actually had a conversation: it was more than just, "you got it?", "yeah", "bye", it was an actual conversation. he asked her how she was and they shared deep thoughts they hadn't thought of sharing with anyone because they thought no one would understand, but they did. after that, they'd be more enthused in talking to each other. she started to open up towards him, they'd bicker sometimes about their leadership but still, there was no specific title to their relationship.


HOW HE ACTS AROUND HER |

  BEGIN. he didn't talk to her a lot, only about bussiness. he was interested in how her mind worked, how she was able to act and think so quickly. during one practice, namjoon got himself injured but no one noticed. boreum was observant enough to notice him wincing and dragged him away to camp. she acted quickly, getting equipment to clean up and bandage the mess. namjoon admired this side of her, except all he said to her that day was, "thanks." and nothing more. he regretted that.

 INTERLUDE. his curiosity took over his mind one night and he called boreum over to talk about their lives. it was a night he can distinctly remember and would like to think about. he liked having someone else who can understand what he was saying, her intelligence was almost as good as his. he started to call her a "catfish" when she tries giving others orders, but of course, in a joking matter. still, nothing grand happened between them; they were both too serious and blind to see what was in front of them.
