FFd6: The Fall of the Architects

"Long ago, the wilderness ruled all, and the untamed wilds threatened all of us. Dragons ran wild, and demons ruled men, until the architects learned how to harness magic and technology to create our homes: The Kudjestars. Guardians of all of our people, the architects created these giant automatons to house our worlds, and fight the beast away, before vanishing without a trace 1000 years ago... Now they float above the planet, away from the wilderness... Until... 2 years ago..."

You turn the page and a photo of a giant falling from the sky, as the stars vanish from the heavens appears.

"A Geomancer named Kraven Vohr found our Kudjestar, Lodestone, falling from the heavens... and offered a solution with the crystal before... suddenly vanishing with the core! Thankfully, a failsafe was put into place to protect our people from the crash... So we survived with minimal casualties... It took a year but we finally hit the planet and... Thus here we are today, searching for Kraven and watching the other Kudjestars falling alongside us..."
