An Plean Ama – The Time Plan

Aim: To prepare Vegetable Soup and Crepes with a Strawberry Filling in the Time constraints of the Pre-Junior Certificate Home Economics Examination.

9:10-9:25       Prepare crepe mixture. Leave crepe mixture in fridge.
9:25-9:43       Peel vegetables and cut vegetables
9:43-9:47       Boil kettle and prepare stock
9:47-9:50       Sauté vegetables and season for 3 minutes
9:50-10:25     Let Vegetables simmer in stock for 30 minutes
9:55-10:10     Prepare strawberry filling, put in fridge
10:10-10:10   Take out crepe mixture and lightly heat pan
10:10-10:12   Prepare chocolate decorations
10:10-10:25   Make 2 crepes. Allow to cool
10:25-10:30   Take soup off the heat and check if the vegetables are cooked
10:30-10:40   Blend soup
10:50-11:05   Serve Crepes
11:05-11:20   Serve Soup
11:20-11:40   Evaluation
11:40-12:00   Wash up
