  1. Weird trivia: "Hulk Hogan's Theme" from the World Wrestling Federation's "The Wrestling Album" and Bonnie Tyler's "Ravishing" from "Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire" are not just the same song, but very obviously built on the same recording sessions and arrangement. Both were written and produced by Jim Steinman, best known as Meat Loaf's collaborator, who helped create a similar anthemic sound for Tyler. The first 1m18s or so even sync up before diverging on different paths. So I decided to do a comparison going back and forth, and the notes for what is where are below (the parenthetical notes are for the origin of snippets after the point where they stop syncing up):
  2.
  3. 0:00-0:10 Ravishing
  4. 0:10-0:45 Hogan
  5. 0:45-0:51 Ravishing
  6. 0:51-0:56 Hogan
  7. 0:56-1:00 Ravishing
  8. 1:00-1:03 Hogan
  9. 1:03-1:06 Ravishing
  10. 1:06-1:10 Hogan
  11. 1:10-1:12 Ravishing
  12. 1:12-1:14 Hogan
  13. 1:14-1:16 Ravishing
  14. 1:16-1:18 Hogan
  15. At this point, because the chorus was tweaked for Ravishing, they stop matching up exactly.
  16. 1:18-1:23 Ravishing (Ravishing 1:20-1:25)
  17. 1:22.991-1:28.341 Hogan (Hogan 1:21.600-1:26.950)
  18. 1:28.352-2:26.641 Ravishing (Ravishing 1:31.400-2:29.700)
  19. This is the one rough-ish cut, but was the closest matching point I could find for this section.
  20. 2:26.646-2:47.130 Hogan (Hogan 1:45.311-2:05.800)
  21. 2:47.130-3:12.180 (Ravishing 2:07.950-2:33:000)
  22. 3:12.180-3:37.810 (Hogan 2:28.700-2:54:330)
  23. 3:37.810-4:40.510 (Ravishing 3:41.300-4:44:000)
  24. 4:40.510-5:10.000 (Hogan 3:40.525-4:30.000)
