  1. Podcast is: http://mlwradio.libsyn.com/episode-201-rudy
  2.
  3. Konnan and Court now not at all surprised Alberto's not coming back to AAA, think WWE lied/misled Alberto on his availability.
  4.
  5. Konnan: "the title will be vacant, we'll probably do some sort of tournament, and we'll have a winner, there's not much more you can do"
  6.
  7. Konnan says they're trying to bring someone in and they're trying to see if that'll happen, but either way they'll be running a tournament "maybe four men or something or like that"
  8.
  9. Konnan: "We were already going to take the title off him before he left and he already agreed to it" - they [AAA] just didn't want to lose in San Luis Potosi for a third time. Konnan and Court agree that Alberto wanted to lose the title but WWE isn't letting him appear. Konnan says he was "cautiously optimistic" Alberto would able to appear on AAA shows but knew this could happen.
  10.
  11. [jumping out of a conversation about Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn unwillingness to change the presentation of WWE women]
  12.
  13. Konnan: "I have the same problem in my promotion, where you have the owners of a certain age, and they're very wrapped up in nostalgia - you need to take that vise like grip from the 90s and join us, we're almost in 2020, it's a whole different era. These people at their age, they don't know what the top music is, they don't know who know Vince is, Vince doesn't know who Drake is, or over here they don't know who El Komander is, they don't go to clubs, they've never been to a rave, they don't have their pulse on their younger demographic."
  14.
  15. Court says he doesn't want to be specific about the deal he's working on with Dorian Roldan in New York except it'd let him work with AAA. Konnan asks if it'd be about opening doors for AAA in the US. Court says they'd be looking at everything. "Your roster is badass. Your production is awesome."
  16.
  17. Konnan doesn't know if Rey is going to be involved. Implied it's a money issue, but would like to see him. "We have not signed with Lucha Underground yet."
  18.
  19. Konnan mentions the Lucha Underground BOX again. "They wanted to put a box inside the ring, but to the side." Konnan did not like the idea, but both he and Court liked them coming up with out of the box ideas.
  20.
  21. Konnan says that between working for AAA, working with Rey Misterio, and working outside projects, he's working 17-18 hour days.
  22.
  23. Konnan says Elite's sponsors were the same guys who were previously funding Todo x el Todo, and they're trying to get on TV Azteca. Konnan says they're using the lure of Azteca & AAA to try and get AAA luchadors to jump. Elite has contacted a lot of AAA luchadors and said they don't care if the luchadors can't use their AAA names with them. "The owner of Arena Mexico is involved in this even though he says he's not", and they're hoping this gets their own guys on Azteca too.
