  1. Anyway! We begin!
  2. A masterful plot of sabotage! A plan to look a man in the eye and make him blink!
  3.
  4. Fried Silver: "Sir Ramiel I still believe getting help from the natives would been the best route."
  5.
  6. Ramiel: "Overruled, we head back to the ship."
  7.
  8. Jee-Still Waki: ( Do natives have a laser weapon that can decimate an entire camp? )
  9.
  10. Gator (GM): ( Probably not )
  11.
  12. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ya never know. )
  13.
  14. Fried Silver: (Strength in numbers.)
  15.
  16. Jee-Still Waki: ( Wolves hunt in packs? )
  17. ( Goblins ill like fire )
  18.
  19. Ramiel: (Why risk the lives?)
  20.
  21. Jee-Still Waki: ( Dragon's Dogma has corrupted me. Oh, and Ram, if we're gonna be blasting them to high heaven, let's try to avoid burning the wood. We can sell that. )
  22. ( It's not like it's gonna be unchopped. )
  23.
  24. Gator (GM): So what action do you take? The saucer is already sabo'd
  25.
  26. Fried Silver: "Well you see Sir Ramiel, I'm A Chef first That never gets any cooking duties not a well, Someone who knows a lot about ships."
  27. "This might well, not get the right results."
  28.
  29. Ramiel: (We head back to my ship now that I know where the camp is. )
  30.
  31. Gator (GM): You go back to HD. Same tents, same sideways glares from mercenaries.
  32.
  33. Jee-Still Waki wakes up to find that she was abandoned. And locked in the ship.
  34.
  35. Ramiel: "See, I got back your bikes, no problem."
  36.
  37. Gator (GM): The man grumbles as he examines the bikes.
  38. A man appears before you!
  39.
  40. Ramiel unlocks ships as he prepares to head back to the camp via flight."
  41.
  42. Fried Silver: "Hello there sir."
  43.
  44. Jee-Still Waki glares at Ramiel as he boards the ship. "Next time, m-make sure ev-everyone is out." she growls.
  45.
  46. Gator (GM): The man shouts to the group before as they ignore him, "Ah, someone of taste. I would like to make an offer of an opportunity for you and your group, sir."
  47.
  48. Ramiel: "I'm not interested in any time shares on this shitty planet!"
  49.
  50. Fried Silver: "Well, what the Oprotunity sir?"
  51.
  52. Gator (GM): "Now now, you haven't even heard it! This opportunity will reward your crew ten fold!" Says the man.
  53.
  54. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhhh... Th-there are g-good places on this pl-planet. N-not that you c-can see with your b-bad eyes." Jee hisses.
  55.
  56. Ramiel: "When are you gonna let it go. Jeez, I left you in the ship one time, it'snot like you didn't have any food or water."
  57.
  58. Gator (GM): "I have detected objects of sufficient complexity on your ship, if you help me I can connect you with buyers for said sufficiently complex technology."
  59.
  60. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... A w-warning n-next time. And... I c-couldn't f-find wh-where the f-food was."
  61.
  62. Fried Silver: "Well Sir I have no say in the manner since Sir Ramiel is the owner of this ship."
  63.
  64. Jee-Still Waki: ( What tech do we even got on the ship? )
  65. ( The droids? )
  66.
  67. Gator (GM): ( Locked dog scenario. )
  68.
  69. Jee-Still Waki: ( Can't recall anything else. )
  70.
  71. Ramiel: "Look guy, not interested in selling anything on my ship."
  72.
  73. Gator (GM): "Oh no my refined friend, I refer to they spaceman technology. Anyone can buy a ship, but only afew can retrieve the treasures of space... I can see how busy you are, come see me after you are done with your bounty. I'll be here." The man says
  74. He trots off.
  75.
  76. Ramiel enters the ship, "What a chode."
  77.
  78. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... An-another h-hunt for treasure?"
  79.
  80. Fried Silver: "Sir Ramiel he wasn't a bad guy."
  81. "And Jee I bought some Canned goods if you're hungry."
  82.
  83. Ramiel: "Believe me, nobody approaching you with a deal on the flight deck is worth trusting."
  84.
  85. Jee-Still Waki stations the scanning facility.
  86.
  87. Jee-Still Waki: ( *mans )
  88. ( I'll go ahead and scan now. Bonus was +20 and mind, unless the holes in my brain have gotten bigger overnight. )
  89. rolling 1d100+20+50
  90. (28)+20+50= 98
  91.
  92. Ramiel: "Get me some accurate readings Jee, I need to make sure I don't kill our guy."
  93.
  94. Jee-Still Waki: ( Those are the bonuses for scanning, right? )
  95.
  96. Gator (GM): (Acutally it's just the skill in this case.
  97. Although, it should be noted that a mind of ten should have +30 to skill rolls.)
  98.
  99. Jee-Still Waki: ( It has been changed? OK. )
  100. ( Also, I neglected to add on the scan skill when you gave us ship skills for free oh so long ago. I think it was just 1 skill, so the bonus would just be a 10. So the roll's a 38. )
  101.
  102. Gator (GM): Anyway, you scan, it appears the work crews are loading up the logs and the saucer is generating a magnetic field, likely that it is warming up for takeoff.
  103.
  104. Fried Silver: (it was 3 ship skills,P
  105.
  106. Gator (GM): Oh right.
  107.
  108. Ramiel: "Hope that \silver did his job right, things are gonna get hectic for our friends down there."
  109.
  110. Jee-Still Waki: ( Most likely I put them all into scanning. Can't remember using any other station unless Fried was out and about elsewhere. )
  111.
  112. Fried Silver: (I got ship gunner.)
  113.
  114. Gator (GM): (Scanner is a good choice.
  115.
  116. Ramiel: (( what bonuses you have to being a gunner Silver? ))
  117.
  118. Fried Silver: (( +30 to rolls when using the ships gun.))
  119.
  120. Gator (GM): (You mean skill level?)
  121.
  122. Fried Silver: (Yee, Skill Level.)
  123.
  124. Gator (GM): Sorry, you fly until you again retrace your steps you now hover over the logging operation. It is an odd feeling seeing a place you been from this perspective.
  125.
  126. Ramiel: "Silver, carve the area around the camp."
  127.
  128. Fried Silver: "Sir, why do you want me to do that? Can'y we just destroy their ship?"
  129.
  130. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... Th-they are s-still there."
  131.
  132. Ramiel: "Well then they'll scatter into the woods."
  133.
  134. Fried Silver: "I mean... Fine Sir."
  135.
  136. Ramiel: "I need Jee to get a beat on our guy so we can track him if he runs."
  137.
  138. Fried Silver: rolling 1d100 + 30
  139. (65)+30= 95
  140.
  141. Jee-Still Waki: ( Should I roll again then? )
  142.
  143. Gator (GM): (Sure!)
  144. Also, Silver fires cutting a burning circle around the camp.
  145.
  146. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+30
  147. (96)+30= 126
  148.
  149. Gator (GM): It appears like a large panic below.
  150.
  151. Jee-Still Waki feels uneasy at the sight of fire burning away at the jungle. She hopes it doesn't grow out of control.
  152.
  153. Ramiel: (( Can I try to speak over an open channel on any comms down there? ))
  154.
  155. Gator (GM): The bounty is making his way to the ship as well as some of the loggers, some have fled into the bush.
  156. ((Sure.
  157.
  158. Ramiel: ANy roll required? ))
  159.
  160. Gator (GM): You open the comms.
  161.
  162. Ramiel: cool
  163.
  164. Gator (GM): (Really shouldn't, that's just like flipping a switch.)
  165.
  166. Ramiel opens comms, addressing his mark, "I don't have all day, you either come with us now, or you lose your supply, men, and your ship. Make a choice NOW!"
  167.
  168. Fried Silver: "Sorry for what I'm doing Jee, I'm just following orders."
  169.
  170. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh..."
  171.
  172. Gator (GM): brb
  173.
  174. Ramiel: (( Hope you guys do know that you are playing with a lawful evil character. Or just now realized you were. ))
  175.
  176. Jee-Still Waki: ( Don't really believe in the whole morality chart thing, but nah, I knew you were a mercenary out for cash for less than legal or moral actions from the get go. )
  177.
  178. Ramiel: (( glad that was clear enough then ))
  179.
  180. Jee-Still Waki: ( Jee went from a Chaotic Neutral to someplace inbetweeen that and good after a bad trip, so that's why I'm having 'er be a bit against what yer doing. )
  181.
  182. Fried Silver: (( I could tell by the time you shot an unarmed unconscious man dead.))
  183.
  184. Ramiel: (( Which one was that? ))
  185.
  186. Jee-Still Waki: ( Hope you know that I'm cool with whatever's going on, just doin' what the character do and all. )
  187. ( That really isn't a good question to respond to. )
  188. ( *respond with )
  189.
  190. Ramiel: (( lol ))
  191. (( it's alomst in -character ))
  192.
  193. Fried Silver: (( The first one.))
  194.
  195. Jee-Still Waki: ( I know, it really fits too )
  196.
  197. Fried Silver: (I mean Fried is basically a yes man and usually does what he's told.)
  198.
  199. Ramiel: (( I still wonder if I should say Fried's passphrase to go into psycho mode, but he becomes so much harder to control that way. ))
  200. (( Ram likes having the control over Fried. ))
  201.
  202. Gator (GM): ((Back, discovered I left the garage open all night, oi.)
  203.
  204. Fried Silver: (( was anything stolen by raccoons?)
  205.
  206. Gator (GM): Nope, nothing.
  207. (Still embarassing, especially since I checked the garage last night!)
  208. Ramiel!
  209.
  210. Ramiel: yes
  211.
  212. Gator (GM): You are greeted on the Comms with a long line of cursing!
  213. Most of it is summarized as "What they hell, man?" and "Why did you do that?"
  214.
  215. Jee-Still Waki: ( Standard protocol. You should've read the terms of agreement. )
  216.
  217. Ramiel: "My orders are to get you back, didn't specify how. Mercs don't have patience for bullshit so it's decision time."
  218. "We tried things the easy way."
  219.
  220. Gator (GM): The rabbit points out, "How are you going to bring me back when everything is on fire, smartguy?"
  221.
  222. Jee-Still Waki: ( Bring you back half dead. )
  223. ( Still counts as alive. )
  224.
  225. Fried Silver: ""Sir, we could of just held him at gunpoint and force him to come with us."
  226.
  227. Gator (GM): (Or half cooked in this case.)
  228.
  229. Ramiel: "Depends on how cooperative you plan to be."
  230.
  231. Gator (GM): "I mean literally, donkey face. The temp outside is over 500. We cannot physically leave the ship and you probably can't walk in."
  232.
  233. Jee-Still Waki: "R-Ramiel. Th-this is t-too much. Other tr-tribes may c-catch fire if th-this spreads!"
  234.
  235. Ramiel: "Hold please."
  236.
  237. Gator (GM): (pa-ta-ting.)
  238.
  239. Jee-Still Waki: ( Well, we do got a robot. And space suits should be fine in that temperatures. )
  240. ( So knock 'em out, put him in a suit, have someone else in a suit or the robot take him out to our ship, and there ya go. )
  241. ( Sorry, is it OK to be discussing plans like this OOC? I know I've been here for a good part of a year or two, but I'm still uncertain about it. )
  242.
  243. Ramiel: (( alright GM would swooping down with the ship, kick up enough dirt and dust to smother some of the flames? ))
  244. (( or rather, does the logic follow enough for me to attempt the maneuver? ))
  245.
  246. Gator (GM): (( Well I would say let's make that a pilot skill roll. Say, 130?))
  247. Essentially you are buzzing the ground.
  248.
  249. Ramiel: Jeez, do I get a mind bonus for that roll?
  250.
  251. Gator (GM): You can use sensors to supplement the roll.
  252.
  253. Ramiel: Jee, get me a sensors reading. ))
  254.
  255. Gator (GM): Which we get to test again.
  256.
  257. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+30
  258. (17)+30= 47
  259. ( There's fire. )
  260. ( And some trees. )
  261.
  262. Gator (GM): Jee gets to add 1d10 per sensor skill level to your roll.
  263.
  264. Jee-Still Waki: ( And fire on the trees. )
  265. ( Yep, that's the +30 )
  266. ( Oh you mean his roll. Gotcha. )
  267.
  268. Ramiel: Whelp, i need a crit to succeed so....
  269. let's try it anyway
  270.
  271. Gator (GM): I'd feel bad at this point... But hey, this was your guys' plan!
  272.
  273. Ramiel: rolling 1d100+1d10+30
  274. (81)+(9)+30= 120
  275. fok
  276. I choose to blame Jee
  277.
  278. Fried Silver: "Sir Ramiel, did you not think this play thru at all?"
  279.
  280. Gator (GM): That is close enough that The fire is diminished some.
  281. Luckily you do not smash into the ground and die.
  282.
  283. Ramiel: "Sounded good in my head"
  284.
  285. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh! It is y-your f-fault for the f-fire you... y-you... Fils de pute!"
  286.
  287. Ramiel: (( Does it look like they have an avenue to escape now? ))
  288.
  289. Gator (GM): Almost.
  290. Also, Jee!
  291. It appears the saucer is about to take off!
  292.
  293. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh! Th-the ship is ab-about to g-go!"
  294.
  295. Gator (GM): rolling 1d2
  296. (2)= 2
  297.
  298. Fried Silver: "You mean him or me Jee?"
  299.
  300. Ramiel: "Well at least it won't be in fire. Still..."
  301.
  302. Gator (GM): The ship is actually gaining altitude!
  303.
  304. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... At th-this p-point, b-both."
  305.
  306. Ramiel: "I wouldn't try fleeing if I were you fellas. Find a landing zone."
  307.
  308. Fried Silver: "Sorry Jee I was just following orders."
  309.
  310. Ramiel: "Fried, keep your aim trained on them."
  311.
  312. Gator (GM): The rabbit again responds in cursing. (roll intimidation.)
  313.
  314. Ramiel: sure
  315.
  316. Gator (GM): rolling 1d100+25

  321.
  322. Jee-Still Waki: ( Is this space Martin? )
  323.
  324. Ramiel: ah, guess we won't be getting paid.
  325.
  326. Fried Silver: (Guess I'll tryintimidation.)
  327. (Well, to late.)
  328.
  329. Gator (GM): He is booking it to the stratos, follow?
  330.
  331. Ramiel: We'll follow him until he's reached orbit, then we will light him up.
  332.
  333. Ramiel prepares to make any sudden maneuvers.
  334.
  335. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh..." Jee huffs, taking one last look at the burning jungle.
  336.
  337. Gator (GM): The saucer changes direction and is coming at you!
  338. Ramiel! Roll better than the pilot!
  339.
  340. Ramiel: rolling 1d100+30+30
  341. (94)+30+30= 154

  345. you avoid the saucer, your turn!
  346.
  347. Ramiel: "Silver, retaliate."
  348.
  349. Fried Silver: "You mean fire sir?"
  350.
  351. Ramiel: "obviously, target, non-vital systems"
  352.
  353. Fried Silver Aims at the lfe support to prevent them from leaving the planet.
  354.
  355. Fried Silver: rolling 1d100 + 30

  361. Ramiel: (that's 1d10 per laser you hit it with ))
  362.
  363. Fried Silver: (Ram, whats the guns stats again?)
  364.
  365. Gator (GM): it has 2shp so it's systems are out.
  366.
  367. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ah, sorry, should've performed a scan so the aim would be better. )
  368. ( Can do that now if wanted. )
  369.
  370. Fried Silver: (and don't we have 2 guns?)
  371.
  372. Ramiel: "This is your final warning. Land and surrender!"
  373. (don't worry about it. You destroyed their systems )
  374.
  375. Gator (GM): Their comms are out but it looks like they are landing.
  376.
  377. Ramiel: I'll follow them down
  378.
  379. Gator (GM): They did not make it to the landing pad. It also looks like that prior sabotage finally kicked in.
  380.
  381. Jee-Still Waki: ( I'll preform a scan real quick. )
  382. rolling 1d100+30
  383. (89)+30= 119
  384.
  385. Gator (GM): Besides engine leak and brush fires around the area, you find tippy toe and the loggers stumbling out, looks like they have injuries.
  386.
  387. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... The r-rabbit and th-three others are w-walking out. Th-they look injured."
  388.
  389. Gator (GM): Land and approach?
  390.
  391. Ramiel: "I'll land us a safe distance away. I will stay inside to man weapons, Jee and Silver will cuff the survivors and treat them inside the ship."
  392. "Got it?"
  393.
  394. Gator (GM): Beware though, there is a chance for your ship to be stuck.
  395.
  396. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... O-OK."
  397.
  398. Ramiel: No clear areas to land?
  399.
  400. Fried Silver: "Okay Ramiel."
  401.
  402. Gator (GM): You find an open patch.
  403.
  404. Jee-Still Waki readies her Red Hawk and exits the ship alongside Fried.
  405.
  406. Ramiel: Okay, cool
  407. "Keep your hands up, and any weapons on the ground! Hostiles will be shot."
  408.
  409. Jee-Still Waki: ( You rollin' for intimidation on that? )
  410.
  411. Fried Silver Equips both of his slag stack guns.
  412.
  413. Ramiel: (( I feel like I've proved my resolve at this point... but I guess Ican
  414.
  415. Gator (GM): ((Probably should, I had this plot about the guy being so large because of experimental combat drug use. ))
  416.
  417. Ramiel: rolling 1d100+30
  418. (61)+30= 91
  419.
  420. Gator (GM): The rabbit holds his power saw.

  424.
  425. Jee-Still Waki: ( The others follow suit or do we need to scream at them too? )
  426.
  427. Ramiel: "Smart choice."
  428. "Jee, double cuff the big rabbit"
  429.
  430. Fried Silver slaps cuffs onto Tip-Toe and his crew.
  431.
  432. Fried Silver: "Okay sir ramiel."
  433.
  434. Jee-Still Waki keeps her gun ready and cuffs Tip-Toe.
  435.
  436. Gator (GM): The other loggers surrender.
  437.
  438. Jee-Still Waki hisses on the intercomm. "Hhhh... Sh-should I ch-check the sh-ship? Th-there may be g-goods inside."
  439.
  440. Ramiel: "Silver, tie them all up once they're inside"
  441.
  442. Fried Silver: "Sir I don't know how to tie stuff."
  443.
  444. Ramiel: (( As in, make usre they con't move while in flight ))
  445.
  446. Fried Silver: "And this is starting to sound like one of Joanna's work."
  447.
  448. Ramiel: "Jee, you're up then."
  449.
  450. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh..."
  451.
  452. Ramiel: Tie them up in she ship."
  453. "Tip Toe, there anything you want from your ship? An insurance card maybe?"
  454.
  455. Jee-Still Waki scrounges Ram's ship for more cuffs or rope to further immobilize the rabbit and his crew.
  456.
  457. Gator (GM): (It appears Fried has a hard line about restraining people.))
  458.
  459. Ramiel: (( well tieing them up is for his own safety and the ships so if they get loose, it falls on him. ))
  460.
  461. Gator (GM): Tip toe belligerently spits on your helmet's visor (assuming they are on the ship now.)
  462.
  463. Jee-Still Waki: ( Whose? Mine? )
  464.
  465. Ramiel: mine
  466.
  467. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ah. )
  468. ( Forgot you got a pilot helmet on. )
  469.
  470. Ramiel: (( finish tieing them up ))
  471.
  472. Jee-Still Waki: ( Should I roll for tying them up GM? )
  473.
  474. Gator (GM): Nah, everyone knows a good box knot, right?
  475. Right?
  476.
  477. Jee-Still Waki: ( Personally I don't. )
  478. ( But aight. )
  479.
  480. Fried Silver: "Ramiel like I said I don't know how to tie, and we don't have any rope."
  481.
  482. Jee-Still Waki ties the crew's hands and arm down, making sure to distance them from one another.
  483.
  484. Jee-Still Waki: ( We can use more cuffs )
  485. ( Cuff the cuffs to a railing or something )
  486.
  487. Gator (GM): Put a bell on them!
  488.
  489. Ramiel: "Should be a nano-filament rope ion the cargo-hold. If not, check their ship"
  490.
  491. Gator (GM): Check their ship?
  492.
  493. Fried Silver: Yeah
  494. "So Madam Jee, and good finds in the ship?"
  495. (and rope roll.)
  496.
  497. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... L-let's see..."
  498. Fried Silver: rolling 1d100 + 40
  499. (2)+40= 42
  500.
  501. Gator (GM): Checking on their ship you find alot of a damage equipment.
  502.
  503. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+10+30
  504. (68)+10+30= 108
  505. ( Scavenge roll. )
  506.
  507. Gator (GM): You find alot of broken junk!
  508.
  509. Jee-Still Waki: ( Daw. )
  510.
  511. Gator (GM): Also you find about 800 lbs of usuable timber.
  512. And three high powered saws.
  513. Logos made, heavy grade stuff.
  514. The rest has been smashed.
  515.
  516. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... Th-there is w-wood here and s-saws."
  517.
  518. Ramiel: (( I guess we'll just have them cuffed to the ship as well. ))
  519. (( for the trip back ))
  520. "Take the wood, the least we can do Tip Toe since he finally came to his senses."
  521.
  522. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... OK. S-Silver. H-help me g-get these out. "
  523.
  524. Fried Silver Help out Jee with the heavy lifting.
  525.
  526. Fried Silver: (Did jee take the saws?)
  527.
  528. Jee-Still Waki: ( I'm taking them. I can Frankenstein them onto Fried for an extra melee attack. )
  529.
  530. Gator (GM): Saw model10d+10. Additional +10
  531. for each consecutive round the saw
  532. strikes the same object.
  533.
  534. Jee-Still Waki: ( Or to cut open safes. )
  535.
  536. Gator (GM): Sure.
  537.
  538. Jee-Still Waki: ( Wait, 10d10? )
  539.
  540. Gator (GM): You mean replace his arms or what?
  541.
  542. Jee-Still Waki: ( You just got 10d+10 )
  543.
  544. Gator (GM): It's a power saw, not a can opener.
  545.
  546. Jee-Still Waki: ( Yeah, I just wanted confirmation )
  547. ( You left out a 10 and wanted to be certain. Putting down 10d10+ (10 per round saw strikes object. )
  548. ( But why stop at the arms? )
  549.
  550. Gator (GM): Think if his warranty!
  551.
  552. Jee-Still Waki: ( Put them on his head. Give a saw mohawk )
  553.
  554. Fried Silver continues to move the logs into the ship while Jee studies the saws.
  555.
  556. Gator (GM): Go all Gigan on him!
  557. Saw chest!
  558.
  559. Jee-Still Waki: ( Speaking of which, rolling to disassemble then another to reassemble the saw. )
  560. rolling 1d100+10+30
  561. (24)+10+30= 64
  562. ( Don't think electronics would apply, using engineering. )
  563.
  564. Gator (GM): Sure. about 80 right there in the field.
  565.
  566. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ah, sorry, got distracted )
  567.
  568. Jee-Still Waki examines the disassembled saw and writes down notes into her journal on the various insides, then puts the saw back together. It's not like she could help Fried lifting the giant logs anyway.
  569.
  570. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+10+30
  571. (36)+10+30= 76
  572.
  573. Fried Silver: "Jee whatever you're doing with those make sure to not cut off your hand or finger."
  574.
  575. Gator (GM): (I don't think that is athe right bonuses for enginnering...)
  576.
  577. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... There is a blade and the m-motor inside s-spins it v-very fast. I s-seen it used on t-trees. I c-can probably c-cut off y-your hand, Fried."
  578. ( What do you mean? The +30 mind bonus or using engineering to disassemble and reassemble a power saw/ )
  579.
  580. Gator (GM): You can add your mind bonus to engine rolls
  581.
  582. Jee-Still Waki: ( Yeah, and you said mind bonus was now +30 )
  583. ( I got a mind of 10 though, but I wanted to be sure. )
  584.
  585. Gator (GM): no it's still +50
  586.
  587. Fried Silver: "Well Jee I would prefer that you not, I didn't cut your hand off when you putted those collars on us."
  588.
  589. Jee-Still Waki: ( Guess I got it confused with someone else then, my apologies. )
  590.
  591. Gator (GM): When did I say it was +30?
  592.
  593. Jee-Still Waki: ( +20 to the two previous rolls. )
  594.
  595. Gator (GM): Whell, it works.
  596.
  597. Jee-Still Waki: ( Hold on, I'm the logger of this, lemme dig that line up. )
  598.
  599. Gator (GM): (Acutally it's just the skill in this case.
  600. Although, it should be noted that a mind of ten should have +30 to skill rolls.)
  601.
  602. Gator (GM): Yeah, as in additionally.
  603.
  604. Jee-Still Waki: ( Wait, you mean an extra +30 then? )
  605.
  606. Gator (GM): It's +10 to skills per point after 7
  607.
  608. Jee-Still Waki: ( So it's a +80? )
  609.
  610. Gator (GM): yeah. It was thrown in because no one knew what to suppliment high mind stats.
  611. Yeah.
  612.
  613. Jee-Still Waki: ( Rad. )
  614. ( I am the fucking smart )
  615.
  616. Gator (GM): 10 is supposed to be as high as humanly possible.
  617.
  618. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhh... Th-the wood is being p-put on the sh-ship now. Th-there are s-saws too. I am t-taking those. Th-the rest is b-broken." Jee mumbles on the intercomms while she reassembles the saw.
  619. ( Really doesn't suit the MO of a tribal then )
  620.
  621. Ramiel: (( alright, we got the wood, we're heading back to the union. ))
  622.
  623. Jee-Still Waki: ( Cool. )
  624. ( Oh wait. )
  625. ( Duct tape the saw to a gun. Make a gun saw. )
  626. ( Hell yeah )
  627. ( Anyway, all done here, sorry. )
  628.
  629. Gator (GM): On the way there, the bounties start talking.
  630. "So what are we being brought in for?
  631.
  632. Ramiel: "Silver, don't forget to keep an eye on these guys as we travel."
  633.
  634. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ya know, I think I'm gonna unload most of my crap and keep it on the ship, only carry a certain amount of stuff with me. Keep it more interesting than pulling out a grenade launcher out of my back pocket. )
  635.
  636. Ramiel: Jee, I want you to keep you on scanners... Don't want a repeat of the space crab incident."
  637.
  638. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... G-got it." Jee says, taking a quick check on the scanners while sorting out her assorted junk.
  639. rolling 1d100+30
  640. (85)+30= 115
  641.
  642. Ramiel: "We're bringing you in because Tip Toe was late for an appointment he was supposed to keep with the space union... Sorry to drag you all into this situation."
  643.
  644. Gator (GM): "You blew up my ship and stole my haul for that?"
  645.
  646. Ramiel: "If it's any consolation, we will give you back all your wood from the ship."
  647.
  648. Gator (GM): Says the rabbit.
  649.
  650. Ramiel: 'So you're only losing the ship."
  651.
  652. Gator (GM): "Right. I'll hold you to that."
  653.
  654. Fried Silver: "Sir Ramiel, I doubt that a payment of 40k to get someone to a late appointment is well, true."
  655.
  656. Ramiel: "I tried to do things the easy way, but I'm hired when people want shit done fast"
  657. "and Silver, that isn't really for us to worry about."
  658.
  659. Gator (GM): You quickly get to the station, there armed guards are waiting at the doc to retrieve tippy toe.
  660.
  661. Ramiel switches comms to hail the station, "Cyclone coming in with bounty, requesting clearance and security detail at hangar."
  662.
  663. Jee-Still Waki finishes sorting out her stuff, most of which is piled on a nearby work desk with a messily scribbled note that reads "Jee's stuff, tell Jee what you want from stuff"
  664.
  665. Gator (GM): "Rodger Cyclone. Request acknowledge. Dock at hanger 8."
  666.
  667. Jee-Still Waki: ( Whatever stuff you need, just check my character page and look for the items at the bottom. Feel free to take what you need. )
  668.
  669. Gator (GM): (A good desk system.)
  670.
  671. Ramiel guides his ship to the hangar, escorting his bounty out with Silver.
  672.
  673. Ramiel calls over a guard before they leave with Tip Toe.
  674.
  675. Jee-Still Waki: ( The majority of stuff looks like items you'd find in an abandoned house and shed, and piled onto a nearby desk for taking out to the trash or trailer to take off with. )
  676.
  677. Gator (GM): You have the guard's attention.
  678.
  679. Fried Silver: (Jee is one of those storage bidders.)
  680.
  681. Jee-Still Waki: ( The only functioning gun that's there are Rail pistols, and good luck figuring out how to figure those out )
  682.
  683. Gator (GM): (Sounds like my garage.)
  684.
  685. Jee-Still Waki: ( So no worry about hostages shooting us in the back )
  686. ( Mostly. )
  687.
  688. Ramiel: "I'd like to have the lumber in my cargo hold transferred over to Tip Toe once everything is sorted out for him. CAn you help arrange that?"
  689.
  690. Gator (GM): "Probably not." Says the guard, "He's wanted on Logos for major theft and illegal logging. But we can hold it to see what the LG wants to do with it."
  691.
  692. Jee-Still Waki: ( That reminds me. )
  693. ( Can I perform a quick search on the four? )
  694. ( Or are they clean of items? )
  695.
  696. Ramiel shrugs, "I guess I'll hold it then."
  697.
  698. Ramiel: (( GM, what is the current going rate for lumber per unit? ))
  699.
  700. Gator (GM): (They are not clean, you find cigerettes, packed food, small knives, and some money in their pockets.
  701.
  702. Fried Silver: "Sir Ramiel, do you mind if I go to Jee since you and your menter seem to have this in control?"
  703.
  704. Jee-Still Waki: ( Awesome. Got a tally on what they got? )
  705.
  706. Gator (GM): (I forgetright now but I had priced your loot haul of the wood to be 20k on logos)
  707.
  708. Ramiel: "Do what you like Silver, we are on shore leave. Stay in contact in case I nede you."
  709.
  710. Jee-Still Waki: ( I got a pack of cigarettes on the work bench, actually. Wonder if they're worth anything. Or relieve stress in exchange for cancer. )
  711.
  712. Ramiel: (( WEll we rolled last time. I thought that was fun. ))
  713.
  714. Gator (GM): oh right.
  715. rolling 1d10*1000
  716. (8)*1000= 8000
  717.
  718. Fried Silver: (Have fried smoke em up, not like he can get cancer.)
  719.
  720. Gator (GM): 8k for 500lbs of wood?
  721.
  722. Ramiel: That seems really low?
  723. i got 40k off the crates we sold
  724.
  725. Gator (GM): 40k then.
  726.
  727. Ramiel: I'll take that
  728.
  729. Gator (GM): Point.
  730. Sorry, focus is abit off.
  731.
  732. Ramiel: It's fine. i have to pop off really soon anyway to get some work done
  733.
  734. Gator (GM): As you deal see tip toe off. You see Victor sleeping in his chair, listening as the foot traffic passes.
  735.
  736. Jee-Still Waki: ( Cool man. Hope you have a good weekend )
  737.
  738. Gator (GM): Me too. But gotta get this finished first, then we can get XP.
  739.
  740. Fried Silver: See ya
  741. We can always contine on without him.
  742.
  743. Ramiel locks down his ship and heads off to his personal quarters
  744.
  745. Gator (GM): ((Hist personal quarters, ironically, is the ship.))
  746.
  747. Jee-Still Waki: "... D-did he j-just lock us out?" Jee asks Fried.
  748.
  749. Ramiel realizes he locked himself up in his ship
  750.
  751. Gator (GM): ((Well, I would assume it's his quarters, I mean, Ramiel spends alot of time on his ship.))
  752.
  753. Ramiel: ( Yeah, that's the logical conclusion. ))
  754.
  755. Fried Silver: (( Ramiel is the ship or a drone, I don't know about him being a ram.)
  756.
  757. Gator (GM): Pilot chair flips back=bed
  758.
  759. Ramiel arranges to have low-level clearance cards made for Jee and Silver. It will grant them access to the ship, but not to the cockpit.
  760.
  761. Gator (GM): Anyway, as you let out a breath on the station you communicators come on, rather, the station on the cyclone gets a message from Sarah on Logos.
  762.
  763. Ramiel: (( Can I have that done GM? How much to have those made? ))
  764.
  765. Fried Silver: "Jee can I ask you something thats personal to me?"
  766.
  767. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh? W-what?"
  768.
  769. Gator (GM): pfft, $5?
  770.
  771. Jee-Still Waki: ( TOO EXPENSIVE )
  772. ( ROLL TO BARTER )
  773.
  774. Gator (GM): standard magnet ribbon cards are pretty cheap to make really.
  775.
  776. Ramiel: (( I just wanted to make sur eI could do it, anyways. I gotta go. ))
  777.
  778. Jee-Still Waki: ( Cool man, see you next time )
  779.
  780. Gator (GM): ( Have a good one man! Glad you didn't get flooded.)
  781.
  782. Fried Silver: "Well, can you do a bit of reprograming on me?"
  783.
  784. Ramiel sends a message for Jee and Silver to pick up their low-level clearance cards once they've been completed and he heads to bed.
  785.
  786. Gator (GM): Oh right.
  787.
  788. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... Wh-what do you w-want reprogramed?"
  789.
  790. Gator (GM): I made a tweek to MECHs I was wondering about.
  791.
  792. Fried Silver: "It's well..."
  793. "Basically give me a bit more free will."
  794.
  795. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... F-free will? Are y-you restricted in w-what you ch-choose to do?"
  796.
  797. Fried Silver: "Well, I usually do what I'm told Jee."
  798. "And I don't want Ramiel Possibably making me go through with "The Job"."
  799.
  800. Jee-Still Waki: ( You want a full Blade Wolf workover then? )
  801.
  802. Fried Silver: "Or at least have it so that I only follow your orders than Jee."
  803.
  804. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhh... D-did you not s-say you d-did not want to d-do the j-job before? Is th-that not f-free will?"
  805.
  806. Fried Silver: "Jee, I did stuff that I didn't want to do before."
  807.
  808. Jee-Still Waki: "Hhhhhh... OK."
  809.
  810. Gator (GM): (Hey, actually this fits perfectly into the thing I made.
  811.
  812. Jee-Still Waki waves over a guard. "I n-need a w-work station... Or at l-least a t-table."
  813.
  814. Jee-Still Waki: "J-just for a m-moment."
  815.
  816. Gator (GM): The guard, quick to go about his duties, points out there are tools in the hanger. "Help yourself." he says without much thought.
  817.
  818. Jee-Still Waki points Fried to a nearby table as she boots up her mini computer. "G-get on th-there."
  819.
  820. Fried Silver gets up onto the table.
  821.
  822. Gator (GM): Give me a rool to poke about his brain board.
  823.
  824. Jee-Still Waki: rolling 1d100+80+30
  825. (3)+80+30= 113
  826. ( It's a good thing I'm smart to back up my shit luck. )
  827.
  828. Gator (GM): Point.
  829.
  830. Jee-Still Waki searches for an access panel and switch, ready to turn Fried off momentarily and to link up her mini computer to edit his software.
  831.
  832. Gator (GM): You formulate a cross section of filters to operate as a matrix for decision making. You dude it 'emotion grid.'
  833.
  834. Jee-Still Waki: ( Any protocols in place? )
  835. ( Orders to follow superiors / specific people, etc? )
  836.
  837. Gator (GM): (If you want.
  838. Also rules for the emotion grid
  839. Emotion Grid: As it turns out you
  840. cannot create a valid intelligence
  841. without emotions, otherwise the AI
  842. will be purely robotic and unable to
  843. Gator (GM): advance or grow in league with
  844. organic brains. Unfortunately, these
  845. emotions must filter all interactions
  846. and new information for the robot.
  847. Unfortunately with that, it means that
  848. emotions affecting information
  849. Gator (GM): means that the AI will develop
  850. personality flaws to define it’s
  851. personality which will define it’s
  852. interactions and allow later thinking,
  853. whichi is the entire point that
  854. Gator (GM): separates Mechs from standard
  855. robots. Effect: Mech character has a
  856. mental health pool like any other
  857. character, however, they do not suffer
  858. Stress from the regular pool. Instead,
  859. the start with 3 personality traits and
  860. Gator (GM): gain a new one every level. If the
  861. robot character contradicts a
  862. personality trait they suffer a
  863. “personality glitch” and instantly
  864. suffer 3d10 Stress. If he is aggressive
  865. he must always be aggressive, if he is
  866.
  867. Gator (GM): kind he must always be kind... Unless
  868. of course he likes breaking his
  869. programming, that is.
  870.
  871. Fried Silver: (I mean this is all in the hand of Jee.)
  872.
  873. Jee-Still Waki: ( Gotcha. So what personality traits are currently in place? )
  874.
  875. Jee-Still Waki makes an offhand note and scribbles into her tech journal. Two birds, one spear and all.
  876.
  877. Gator (GM): Yes, what personality traits do you have Fried?
  878.
  879. Fried Silver: (Cooking, Always compliment Joannas work, Protect Owner at any cost. I guess.)
  880.
  881. Gator (GM): Serious, clean, formal, and sarcastic also on your character sheet.
  882.
  883. Fried Silver: (That too.)
  884.
  885. Jee-Still Waki looks up definition of "owner" and current user logged under said word.
  886.
  887. Gator (GM): You get a hierarchal readout starting with Joanna, Ramiel, then the rest of the party in alphabetical order.
  888.
  889. Jee-Still Waki reads through the list of owners and deletes Ramiel's name off of the list. Briefly, she considers editing the other names.
  890.
  891. Gator (GM): (That is a very straight solution.)
  892.
  893. Jee-Still Waki opens up the options and commands under her own name, searching for a command to give her priority in ownership and commands.
  894.
  895. Fried Silver: (I mean ya can mess around with him a bit if ya want to.)
  896.
  897. Jee-Still Waki: ( Nothing major. Just going with what you asked. )
  898. ( Don't want to dick you over. )
  899. ( But as for the prioritization, think other users on a PC to the admin account. )
  900.
  901. Fried Silver: (Save Jee no matter what, even if all others at risk.)
  902.
  903. Gator (GM): Effect: Fried Silver does not have to listen to Ramiel at all. He doesn't even have to acknowledge him.
  904. https://youtu.be/Yr1lgfqygio
  905.
  906. Jee-Still Waki: ( Did giving Jee admin authorization go through? )
  907.
  908. Fried Silver: (Yeah.)
  909.
  910. Gator (GM): heck no, you hacked his metal ass.
  911.
  912. Jee-Still Waki: ( Aight. There was one last thing, but I'm struggling to come up with the right word. )
  913.
  914. Gator (GM): Oh you mean his programming stuff, yes.
  915. You are the master now.
  916. It'll come to you.
  917.
  918. Jee-Still Waki: ( Basically what I got in mind is "self reliant morality" )
  919. ( Not morality based around the self, but morality that isn't overruled by others. Except the admin. )
  920. ( If I turn evil. )
  921. ( Possibly. )
  922. ( What he was asking for about doing a job he doesn't want to do, that sorta thing. )
  923.
  924. Gator (GM): Easy: [unit] must run decision processes through [emotion grid.]
  925. If choice value: False
  926. Proceed with choice routines against Decision.
  927. Basically if he feels something is 'wrong' or 'bad' based on his personality he can say 'no' and not do it.
  928.
  929. Jee-Still Waki: ( Works for me. Thank you. )
  930.
  931. Gator (GM): That or your program him to feel pain.
  932. Either or.
  933.
  934. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ooh. )
  935.
  936. Gator (GM): Okay, I got some deck work to do. Wrecking this time.
  937.
  938. Jee-Still Waki: ( Ah, I think he's fine without it. )
  939.
  940. Gator (GM): I jotted down the XP for this sess: 40xp I came to.
  941.
  942. Jee-Still Waki: ( It's more incentive to not do bad things, but I don't think it'll be required. )
  943.
  944. Fried Silver: (See ya later Gator)
  945.
  946. Gator (GM): (I don't know, him experiencing pain on seeing the color green would be fun!)
  947.
  948. Jee-Still Waki adds in a new protocol into the emotion grid, satisfied that it will work. Possibly.
  949.
  950. Jee-Still Waki: ( Him experiencing pain whenever he makes puns )
  951.
  952. Gator (GM): Fried: You hate dirt, sloppiness, and like making witty biting comments. Also you have no compulsion at all to listen to
  953. Ramiel. He literally could die for all you care.
  954.
  955. Jee-Still Waki: ( But anyway, thanks for the session. )
  956.
  957. Fried Silver: (Yee, thanks man.)
  958.
  959. Gator (GM): (Thanks for playing! I've really been at a loss lately, its nice to have fun!)
  960. Lates bros
