  1. The tattooed Rosetta scientist who also has a disturbingly sexist choice of shirt has been doing the rounds on Linked-In. Posted as a "would you employ someone with tattoos" by Ascent People Ltd - you can see their Linked-In company page here: https://www.linkedin.com/company/2366734
  2.
  3. So I wrote a comment adding the "sexist shirt" epilogue to the "tattoed scientist" story here:
  4. https://www.linkedin.com/nhome/updates?topic=activity%3A5939034424497700864
  5.
  6. "...but he spoiled it all by wearing a ridiculous shirt, a form of "unintentional sexism in tech" - some links in a post on here: https://www.linkedin.com/nhome/updates?topic=5938429589985460224 I have no idea why Linked-In is messing up the links in the additional comment - here's Teh Graun article explaining more: http://www.theguardian.com/science/2014/nov/13/why-women-in-science-are-annoyed-at-rosetta-mission-scientists-clothing and he was incredibly apologetic: http://www.theguardian.com/science/2014/nov/14/rosetta-comet-dr-matt-taylor-apology-sexist-shirt"
  7.
  8. More pictures of the scientist in question, including the sexist shirt are in this gallery:

  10.
  11. Screen capture of my comment as it was posted is here:

  13. ('Less than a minute ago' was sometime during the early evening of Saturday 15th November 2014).
  14.
  15. But the comment has completely disappeared. I have no idea why, other than maybe Ascent People Ltd or Linked-In are censoring comments or maybe Linked-In is just rubbish as a discussion forum.
