Due to her childhood, Karisa is a rather disconnected woman to the real world. She depends on the internet to socialize and has a hard time socializing with real people face to face. Her only true friends are her digimon, her sister (out of a lot of family) and her internet friends that she has never met. When she mets someone new she tends to hide and stalk as to study them to see what kind of person they are. Due to her out-lashing past of being outcasted due to her differences compared to the others of her island, she also tends to always think in a low-self esteemed way.
IF or when those who do get past that gate and become friends with her, she's quite delightful. She's shy when it comes to socializing in general so it becomes difficult as she continuously thinks and worries that she'll do something wrong. Within time her mentality became unstable as she switches from being one thing and then soon to another in a completely bizarre way. Certain things trigger this such as words, actions and the sight/taste of blood. Innocent and sweet to completely cold and blood-thirsty for chaos. No one would be able to tell which part of her she truly is.

Some History

She came from Hawaii within a village that casted her out due to her differences of how she is and because of her being light-skinned in comparison. No one would speak to her or anything other than her sister. Soon she would meet and befriend a girl named Flora. Years went on by and it all seemed well. She transferred to Japan alongside Flora. She was very happy, cherished her only real friend, but one day Flora was hit by a car in front of her. Crying for her to come back, Flora never did. Her only friend 'died', Karisa's heart/good soul dying with her.

After she graduated school she would start traveling upon the world. She never kept in contact with her sister other than letters. Her cold-self was rather calm unless she needed to fake being happy - doing so at will. Oddly a digitama appeared before her as if it was fate. As the digitama digivolved it'd be Palmon. Even though Karisa would still be the same after what happened to Flora, Palmon connects with Karisa. Within the two years they build a rather indescribable connection when it comes to emotions and hobbies.
