  1.
  2. Narrator has connected.
  3. Avara has connected.
  4. Ma-Nyeo has connected.
  5. DNA: I'll probably need to have my tokens moved to wherever y'all ended up. Since I dipped out halfway through last time, my tokens were left where they were.
  6. DNA: Okay, that's Pretty Dang Spooky.
  7. Narrator: Oh. You missed the thing that Sarah grabbed.
  8. Grace has connected.
  9. DNA: Did Sarah grab the pink Ralts, or was that someone else?
  10. Narrator: Shall I show you what it is before we get into it?
  11. Avara: i think meowth picked up the ralts, but i'm not sure
  12. Narrator: That was actually really confusing.
  13. Narrator: Meowth is not a good nickname.
  14. Avara: =p
  15. DNA: ... ...
  16. Narrator: I legit went, "What? What Meowth? Did I fuck up?"
  17. Ma-Nyeo: From the log, the ralts is just leading us
  18. Narrator: So yah, please none of that.
  19. Narrator: For DNA:
  20. Narrator: Please, your attention to the bones.
  21. Narrator: Notify me when you has bones in sight.
  22. DNA: I can see the pile of bones, and the skeleton.
  23. Narrator: Okay: I'm going to show you what Sarah has in her possession currently.
  24. Narrator: She has that, currently, in her possession.
  25. DNA: Oh! The Magearna-Ball, right.
  26. Narrator: Okay.
  27. Grace: Yup
  28. Grace: Do you need me to show?
  29. Avara: done cooking.
  30. DNA: GM showed me.
  31. Avara: and the meowth as a nickname being confusing thing was on purpose. i wanted to make people go "wait what"
  32. Avara: i won't do it again
  33. Grace: lol
  34. Narrator: Yeah. Was less 'wait what' and more 'where's my fuck up?' and had me searching.
  35. Narrator: Okay so...
  36. Narrator: Anyone need to recap?
  37. Narrator: It has indeed been a while.
  38. Avara: i need a recap, but i don't have all the pieces
  39. Avara: ... which is why i need a recap
  40. Ma-Nyeo: We travelled down route 1 where Ma-Nyeo noticed itty bitty footprints leading to a pink haired pure-psychic ralts. The ralts hadn't slept for days, fearful of some creature whose sparse description lead Ma-Nyeo to believe it was a darkrai.
  41. Grace: Well, we're making our way downtown so we can get our licenses to find a trainer. On our way there we got in some fights, and then we, and I mean me, looted some bones and put a giant metal ball into a pokeball. So hopefully we'll get the ID attached to said weird metal ball pokemon. Then we met a rather ditzy ralts with a rather short attention span.
  42. Avara: the ralts isn't ditzy. it's sleep-deprived as all getout
  43. Ma-Nyeo: After booping horns and becoming friendlies, the ralts said she would lead us to the edge of the waters villa so we can do "thing at thing for things."
  44. Grace: It's been rather ditzy due to lack of sleep tbh. We still have a hit on a super mom from the princess back in town too that should be in this general direction too.
  45. Narrator: We good on recap? DNA, how're you on it?
  46. Avara: i think we got all the important things. still need to find person mcnameface who gary wanted us to check on
  47. DNA: That should be sufficient information for me, yeah.
  48. Grace: And we're hoping it's not the bones.
  49. DNA: I think the person's name was Irene or something.
  50. Avara: can we get a refresher on her name and face?
  51. DNA: I will see if I can find it!
  52. Narrator: Irene indeed is the nameface.
  53. DNA: I found the piece in the log, but reading off notepad is ass. I might need htm versions of the logs later from somebody.
  54. Avara: .... ugh. crappy song stuck in my head.
  55. June 1st, Sunday.
  56. 82 degrees with a 68 degree humidity. It feels hot and humid.
  57. There's an 8mph wind blow north, northwest.
  58. It is raining.
  59. Time: 5:12 PM
  60. Glade: Glade pauses when she senses the presence of another and turns around to see. Lifting her pink hair she leans to the side and takes notice of Cassiopeia.
  61. Glade: Glade lifts a hand-thing to her word production unit and tilts her braincase to the other side in ponder of life's true meaning.
  62. Cassiopeia: Cassiopeia is perplexed by the pink thing's animation. She was recently sidetracked but managed to catch up to the party with little difficulty.
  63. Hotaru: "That's Cassiopeia. Shee's quiet and sneaky, like a ninja. Which is how she caught up to us before you noticed she was there."
  64. Glade: Glade recoils in stunning surprise, "Owo?!"
  65. Cassiopeia: "What's this?" Cassiopeia said aloud, though to no one in particular.
  66. Sarah: "A rather perplexing raltz?"
  67. Hotaru: "A raltz with interestingly kind of joy-like coloration and zero hours of sleep for ages."
  68. Glade: "Pinkey hooman bean, you has managed to attract a ninja species hooman bean?! What mystical sweet scent you must have!"
  69. Hotaru: "Very sweet. It's a pinkey-hooman secret."
  70. Glade: "Hm. Yes. Hmhmhm. Hm. Mmm...."
  71. Avara: iirc ralts-line pokemon horns tend to match their eyes in color. so this is a ralts with pink hair and light blue eyes.
  72. Grace: brb
  73. Glade: "New hooman bean Kazazza ninnija is friendlies of allies? Kazazza ninnija is coming with hooman beans and I, the Unmemorable Glade Magenista Bwa hahahahahahaha to the villa of waters edge?"
  74. Ma-Nyeo: "Yes indeed."
  75. Glade: "Or does the Kazazza ninnija needs its braincase filled with pinky death to ooze from her pourish softies?"
  76. Hotaru: "Yes, Cassio Keyboard the Ninja is friend."
  77. Hotaru: "No kill."
  78. Glade: "Friendlies of allies it is!"
  79. Ma-Nyeo: "She can horn boop though."
  80. Cassiopeia: "I thought that Casio was a type of watch, not a keyboard..."
  81. Hotaru: "Can't it be both?"
  82. Glade: "Owo? Horn boop the ninnija?! They're darky types and full of painliness!"
  83. Glade: Glade shakes her fingerless fist at Cassiopeia, "No horn boops for ninnija's...no super duper superness from you today...! But, friendlies of allies is all good and swag."
  84. Glade: Glade nods more to herself than anyone and then turns and looks into the void of Ma-Nyeo's eyes and becomes motionless.
  85. Cassiopeia: "That's a good a compliment as any, so that's good enough for me. Good day, Glade."
  86. Hotaru: "Would you like Manyana to carry you?"
  87. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo meets her with an unbreaking gaze and smile.
  88. Glade: Glade snaps in surprise when Hotaru speaks, "Owo?!" Glade is brought back to reality, "...Glade is present and accounted for minions!! Glade is ever vigilant and unaccompanied by death incarnate!"
  89. Glade: Glade pauses again, "Glade was doing a thing minions. ...Remind her." Glade leans toward Ma-Nyeo and whispers to Miss Mallow, "Your hooman beans recall orders, yes?"
  90. Miss Mallow: "To follow you to the villa?"
  91. Glade: "VILLA OF WATERS EGDE, OF COURSE!" Glade places her hands on her hips, "Bwa hahahahahahaha!" Glade turns in a single step and points to the south, "Onward hooman beans! We must move, post haste, afore the thing of things things all the things!"
  92. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo stands up and follows!
  93. Hotaru: "Glade, would you like squishy minion," and at this she pokes Ma-Nyeo, "to carry you so you can be ready to smite the infidels without having to waste walking energy?"
  94. Glade: "Hooman mignon already is carriage." Glade motions to Miss Mallow, "Asides, Glade is too awesome for mignons carriage anyways."
  95. Cassiopeia: "So, since I was too busy being a ninja bean, what is Glade looking for, exactly?"
  96. Glade: Glade will leave the area soon.
  97. Glade: (( Did someone brb? ))
  98. Ma-Nyeo: "The little ones need protection from the thing. Maybe a darkrai"
  99. Ma-Nyeo: ((Grace did))
  100. Glade: (( I'll just plop her on the new map and leave her there until she returns. ))
  101. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo has to hold up her dress and jog after Ralts to keep up.
  102. Glade: Glade leaves the area and enters Pallet Town.
  103. Cassiopeia: "Oh, I see..."
  104. Narrator: AHA I KNEW I FORGOT SOMETHING
  105. Narrator: Vision blocking.
  106. Narrator: Gimme a sec to spam it.
  107. Narrator: Okie doke.
  108. Narrator: Saving
  109. Grace: (alright back dog escaped on us and I had to go get them. THanks for the patience)
  110. Narrator: I took the opportunity to fix fuck ups! :D
  111. Ma-Nyeo: ((huge pinsir!))
  112. DNA: I'm getting AEB flashbacks...
  113. Avara: this IS AEB
  114. Narrator: I hope that's a good thing, DNA.
  115. Narrator: An' I think he means AEBPr. >_>
  116. Avara: it was a joke
  117. DNA: I do mean that, yes. And it was a good thing.
  118. Sarah: "Alright. So... anyone object to me finding who owned this?' She'll say pulling out the pokeball that held the weird metal ball.
  119. Hotaru: "Why would we object to you finding the object's owner?"
  120. Sarah: "Incase anyone had any pressin' ideas."
  121. Glade: Glade turns and places her hands on her hips, "You wanted to visit the waters edge, yes? Or can you get there on your own if you plan to get distracted?"
  122. Hotaru: "I will not subject you to any objections about finding the subject of the object's mystery."
  123. Sarah: "We do want to visit the water's edge, but I need to get to know who's ball this is lil' one."
  124. Ma-Nyeo: "I will follow you Glade."
  125. Hotaru: "We have a few different missions from a few different people to fulfill in this town, Glade Magenista Bwa hahahahahahaha."
  126. Glade: Glade shrugs, "Meh. I was asked for a thing. Not a thing of things. If you have thing of things to distract yourselves with, Glade can return afore the thing occurs to save the little ones."
  127. Hotaru: "I think the thing that things the things with little things should take priority, yes, I think Sarah was just asking in a general sense of time."
  128. Cassiopeia: "So if we want to come back to help you, we should meet you back by the water's edge?"
  129. Glade: "If you have distractions, go mignons. Glade will return afore the thing occurs. You can also return afore if you please. Glade will be afore."
  130. Hotaru: "How long do you think there is until Thing Happen time?"
  131. Glade: "Soon."
  132. Sarah: Sarahs' gonna fingerguns while walking trying to try and locate the pokecenter. "A good idea to meet up at the water once we're good."
  133. Hotaru: "Then I'm going to the place with you."
  134. Ma-Nyeo: "Yes yes."
  135. Glade: Glade watches as Sarah wanders off and waves goodbye to you humans, "Glade will be afore. Buh-bai friendlies of allies. Dun be super duper superness distracted, yesses?"
  136. Glade: Glade leaves the area.
  137. Avara: i have no idea.
  138. Avara: but okay. things.
  139. Avara: TO THE CENTER
  140. DNA: (Batman scene transition)
  141. Avara: holy shit I LOVE YOUR CONTEST HALL
  142. Cassiopeia: "Let's see if we can find that girl first. Hotaru, you mentioned a connection who would know where she is?"
  143. Narrator: People are splitting the party. While that's a bitch on me as a GM - Glade was definitely under the impression she had a mission to escort you guys to the beach.
  144. Avara: IT'S SO PRETTY
  145. DNA: The contest hall is pretty lit, yeah. As are most of the buildings here, honestly.
  146. Narrator: That mission changed and Glade has absolutely no interest in your human businesses. So, she left.
  147. DNA: The hall is just the thing that most quickly draws the eye.
  148. Avara: i was thinking "okay, so we go to the beach, check the thing, then do other things after"
  149. Avara: but then glade just left town
  150. Avara: hotaru was offering to go to waterfront with her
  151. Ma-Nyeo: Sarah protested.
  152. Narrator: Yes, but Sarah wasn't going to. She very much went 'toward the center'.
  153. Ma-Nyeo: Or was doing something else.
  154. Avara: hokai
  155. Narrator: But, I'm glad you guys think Pallet's pretty.
  156. Avara: so no split of party. is good. just confuzzling.
  157. Sarah: Aw... I didn't think she'd leave...
  158. Narrator: My NPcs have their own agenda's, yes.
  159. Narrator: They'll go and do their own things.
  160. Sarah: fair
  161. Avara: the sign on the building south of kansai airport doesn't function
  162. Narrator: Syankuu
  163. Avara: also you have a family named sato and a family named saito right by each other. evil.
  164. Narrator: Fixed the sign.
  165. Ma-Nyeo: ((not the one by the beach))
  166. Avara: found the center
  167. Narrator: Also fixed.
  168. DNA: Oh look, it's a The Pirates of the Caribbean reference.
  169. Narrator: What? Where?
  170. DNA: Rank C mission
  171. DNA: And we could also nab the Rank B one since it's on the return trip.
  172. DNA: er, not also.
  173. Avara: BUT WHY IS THE RUM GONE
  174. DNA: ACtually wait, Rank C is also on the return trip.
  175. Ma-Nyeo: ((And the other two are probably the ralts one.))
  176. Avara: A and S sound like the same thing
  177. DNA: Aha.
  178. Avara: also: AEB1 completely missed ALL of these
  179. Hotaru: Hotaru walked to, and into, the pokemon center with a cheery wave.
  180. Sarah: Sarah will do the same but she'll b line for the counter holding the ball.
  181. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo slipped hin along behind.
  182. Young Jenny: Young Jenny turns as Hotaru walks in and waves and takes a moment before recognizing her and waves back, "Hotaru-baby, what in the mighty fuck bring you out of Mount Moon?"
  183. Narrator: Description of the center: There's a lounge area where Young Jenny and a Merchant are sitting. There's also the nursing counter where Nurse Joy and a Nurse are sitting chatting with one another and a separate counter where an innkeeper is, cleaning dishes.
  184. Sarah: Going for the Nurse. " 'Scuse me? Is it possible that you can get the ID for the owner of this ball? We found it on some remains."
  185. Hotaru: "Hi Sada. I'm here on a quest to become a trainer, and also to look into kidnappings of little ones, and also also to check a pokemon around here that hoards rare candies to see what her deal is."
  186. Nurse: Nurse steps back some when a ball is held out to her, "Okay HEL-LO there. Welcome to the Pokemon Center. You have a ball. And its in my face."
  187. Young Jenny: "Whoa wat, trainer shit? Fuck yeah, baby! Hope you get that shit. And wait, we...have a pokemon hoarding candies? For real?"
  188. Hotaru: "Something like that? The ralts in viridian thinks she's a disgrace for one reason or another."
  189. Sarah: "Ah! Sorry hun. Sorry. Just... rather confused about the contents, and I'mma hoping the old owner isn't the person we're looking for. The desiah to know is killin' me."
  190. Nurse: Nurse raises an eyebrow and turns to Nurse Joy.
  191. Nurse Joy: "...?" Nurse Joy tilts her head and remains silent for a good moment before...
  192. "Okay, sweetheart. Just so you know, I might be a Joy and genetically am prone to having nearly identical features of other Joys, but we aren't Pokemon and I can't read minds like a telepath. So unless you're just imagining me absolutely naked and masturbating in your mind to that image, I'll need you to open that mouth of yours and form actual words. Coherently please. I don't like to piece together grunts and moans."
  193. Nurse: "...You're my superior and all but...fuck you, okay?"
  194. Nurse Joy: "I'm sorry dear, I lack the equipment to do so. Also, I tend to dislike women with similar hair color. So I'll have to pass."
  195. Nurse: Nurse rubs the bridge of her nose before looking back to Sarah, "...So you ball.. you uh, wanted me to...scan its ID right? Give it here. I'll do that."
  196. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo looks at the two nurses and decides to be on the other side of the room now.
  197. Sarah: Sarah's gonna be a bit calmer now, and she'll hold the ball in question out to the nurse.
  198. Cassiopeia: Cassiopeia would probably have to do the same as Ma-Nyeo. Also, the other two seem to have the conversation well in hand as-is, right?
  199. Nurse: Nurse takes the ball and looks it over, "...kinda beat up isn't it? Whoever this belongs to needs to take better care of it."
  200. Nurse Joy: "Considering the poor sexy girl said 'remains' is where she found it, I'm going to assume the owner can no longer do that."
  201. Nurse: "Huh?!"
  202. Sarah: "Well... the issue is... yeah."
  203. Nurse Joy: "I know it can be distracting having balls in your face girly, but you should pay better attention to details."
  204. Cassiopeia: "Oh, so that was the significance of the skeleton..."
  205. Nurse: "...I'm...I'm gonna ignore that and scan this. You. You wait here." Nurse points to Nurse Joy, "You too."
  206. Ma-Nyeo: "It was craddled in bones." Ma-Nyeo was suddenly nearby again.
  207. Nurse: Nurse walks into the back.
  208. Hotaru: "Suzuka, I'm honestly not sure if you should speak in more innuendo or less. Or if I should. Because that is amazing to listen to."
  209. Nurse Joy: Nurse Joy smiles when she walks away and turns to Sarah and the group, "Don't mind my sass. She's better than me at movie lore and I hate losing." Nurse Joy notices Hotaru in the Center and waves, "Hotaru, hiya there, girly!"
  210. Sarah: She'll call out as she walks to the back. "I'm not sure if it's a mon in there or not, but it was a metal ball! Sure as heck wasn't a torb."
  211. Hotaru: "Hiya, Suzuka!"
  212. Nurse Joy: "I didn't mean to speak that way. She's just so easy."
  213. Hotaru: "You did it again."
  214. Nurse Joy: Nurse Joy pauses, "...I really don't intend that. I swear."
  215. Hotaru: "But it's awesome so you do it anyway."
  216. Sarah: "Yeah, it's just how she wags the tongue!"
  217. Nurse: Nurse returns to the front and has sadness splattered on her face.
  218. Sarah: Sarah will deflate a little seeing the nurse's face.
  219. Nurse: "The ID is TID54500. Its an Irene Goldenrod. You said you found it on a corpse?"
  220. Cassiopeia: Cassiopeia's face went visibly pale. She held one hand to her mouth, and said nothing.
  221. Nurse Joy: "Oh, the girl with the legendary's? The one who was super pissed at Gary?"
  222. Young Jenny: "Who isn't pissed with Gary?"
  223. Sarah: "Well... not A corpse. More... a pile of bones."
  224. Ma-Nyeo: "He asked us to appologize to her."
  225. Nurse: "Bones?!"
  226. Nurse: "She was here like, yesterday! How is she bones?!"
  227. Hotaru: "Irene, yeah?"
  228. Nurse Joy: "I'd say something about hungry but...it's not in good taste."
  229. Ma-Nyeo: "The ball was craddled by bones. More than one skeleton, for sure."
  230. Sarah: "...Yeah. And now we have to bring the black laced letter."
  231. Nurse: Nurse sighs, "Disregarding that for a moment, and I mean only a moment, Suzuka, the ball contained a really weird and emotionally unstable Magearna."
  232. Nurse Joy: "...Who is now trainerless."
  233. Nurse Joy: "Which is likely the cause of the emotional issues. Strip the TID from the ball."
  234. Nurse: "I know that. But what do we do with the Magearna? Let Teonia sell it?"
  235. Pokémon Merchant: Pokémon Merchant raises her hand from the lounge, "I won't sell emotionally distraught Pokemon. For a variety of reasons."
  236. Nurse Joy: "We can't keep it to support its health for more than a few days. The only other option is to release it into the wild."
  237. Nurse: Nurse obviously doesn't like that plan and crosses her arms.
  238. Cassiopeia: "Either release it or hand it off to another Trainer, if those are the only options left. If it's released, that might actually cause more problems, if that sort of power is left unchecked."
  239. Sarah: "...I don't think that might be a good idea. Hmmmm... may I suggest we bring it back to gary or someone that knew her? THey might find some comfort in knowing it survived whatever happened?"
  240. Nurse: "You guys are Trainers right? Would one of you like to try and support a Magearna who just lost its former Trainer?"
  241. Ma-Nyeo: "We're going to be trainers soon. Gary Oaked asked us to appologize to Irene as our mission."
  242. Hotaru: "I'll take hold of it."
  243. Nurse: Nurse nods, "I'll go get it then."
  244. Nurse Joy: "Nurse Wolfgang you stop right fucking there."
  245. Nurse: "What now?"
  246. Ma-Nyeo: "Hotaru is good at making me feel nice. She should be good at making others feel nice."
  247. Sarah: "Are you starting with the inuendo too ma?"
  248. Nurse Joy: "They said 'going to be Trainers soon'. She's not a Trainer. Legally, you can't give a Pokemon like that to her. We can support it for a few days so, give her that time to get her actual license and she can come back for it."
  249. Hotaru: "It'll be another back-and-forth across Route 1, but it'll be worth it to make sure the Magearna is okay and doesn't end up in the wild causing -more- havok out there."
  250. Cassiopeia: "Supposing we don't or can't come back here. What would you do with the Magearna if we don't return?"
  251. Sarah: "I also managed to win one in a drinking contest. Though it's not opening until I get my license."
  252. Nurse Joy: "Release it if no one else wants it. That we trust."
  253. Cassiopeia: "I understand," Cassiopeia said, pondering the idea.
  254. Nurse: "Suzuka...this is just a hunt waiting to happen if we release it."
  255. Nurse: "And I can't in good faith put up a hunt to kill a Magearna that's just hurt because it lost its Trainer."
  256. Ma-Nyeo: "Can't you become a trainer?"
  257. Nurse Joy: "Then I will, if it comes to that."
  258. Nurse: "I could. But I'm a Nurse. It's what I'm good at and what I want to do."
  259. Hotaru: "Suzuka, Wolfgang, I'll be coming back for it. And I'll pay for however many days you need to hold it for that to happen."
  260. Cassiopeia: "That means we have to come back here after our errand is done. First we find Irene's next of kin, and...tell Gary the unfortunate news."
  261. Ma-Nyeo: "What about the beach? The thing will happen soon."
  262. Nurse Joy: "You worked at a Center too, so you should probably know how it works. But for the friends you got with you: You guys have three days starting at 6 PM today. After 6 PM, three days from now, the Magearna will be released. No monetary bribes will make me hold it longer."
  263. Hotaru: "Okay."
  264. Young Jenny: "Harsh."
  265. Hotaru: "Three days should be plenty."
  266. Sarah: "That should be fine for now."
  267. Nurse Joy: "I like my license to practice medicine and my pokemon center. Taking a bribe puts my license at risk. It's breaking the law."
  268. Cassiopeia: "What's today's date, Deep Blue?"
  269. Deep Blue: "It's currently Sunday, June 1st. Shall I make a reminder that we reconvene here by June 4th."
  270. Cassiopeia: "That would be lovely."
  271. Hotaru: "I didn't mean it as a bribe. You said you couldn't afford to keep it longer than a few days, I thought you meant literally couldn't afford it."
  272. Nurse Joy: "I meant legally, dear. Sorry about that."
  273. Hotaru: "We don't -get- a lot of people coming through the Mt. Moon center, so it's been a while since there was a dead trainer situation."
  274. Sarah: "So... what is the process for that here anyway? Do we tell jenny or you guys on where they're at?"
  275. Nurse Joy: "Nurse Wolfgang, go ahead and find out Irene's immediately family so we can notify them of the situation."
  276. Nurse: "Uh, okay." Nurse turns and walks into the back again.
  277. Hotaru: "Do you have a phone I can use, while that's happening? We've got a few things we're doing in town today, it looks like, and I want to not keep Oak waiting."
  278. Nurse Joy: "To collect the remains? I'll check with Jenny. If we need help from Trainers to get a Trainers bones, we'll put up a hunt for it. But we'll definitely try to do it ourselves first."
  279. Hotaru: "That guy needs therapy as it is without adding 'worrying about sending trainers to die' being added onto his problems."
  280. Nurse Joy: "Oh sure, phones on the PC." Nurse Joy motions, "I have Gary's number in case you don't. Knowing him, I'm guessing he didn't give you guys contact information."
  281. Young Jenny: "Stop playing favourites. You wouldn't normally give out his number to people."
  282. Hotaru: "That's right. I was going to ask. Thanks!"
  283. Nurse Joy: "Normally I wouldn't, that's true. But this is family so, eat it."
  284. Hotaru: "I'm not people, Sada, I'm family."
  285. Young Jenny: "...I'll keep that in consideration."
  286. Nurse Joy: "Don't tease, girl. You're too young for me anyway."
  287. Hotaru: Hotaru laughs as she goes to phone the tree man.
  288. Ma-Nyeo: Perception (seeing) Ma-Nyeo examines Young Jenny! Including clothing, weapons (hidden or otherwise), age and any other characteristics one could gleen from sight. 5+1+1+7=14 (STUNT! 5 Stunt Points)
  289. Avara: RING RING RING, RING RING RING! PHONE CALL! PHONE CALL!
  290. Avara: that is my ring tone for kaorin, btw
  291. You whisper to Narrator: Is the Magearna Poke Ball still out in the lobby somewhere? I just thought of something but I think I need to be able to see it for it to work.
  292. Ma-Nyeo: That Makes Me Wonder. Perception (Empathy) for more details.
  293. Ma-Nyeo: Empathy 3+6+6+5=20 (STUNT! 3 Stunt Points)
  294. Ma-Nyeo: About general disposition or anxieties.
  295. Narrator: (( Sorry, had to deal with something. Am back. ))
  296. Sarah: (All good!)
  297. DNA: =b
  298. The line picks up but is silent for a moment.
  299. Machamp: "... ... ... Ch-champ?"
  300. Hotaru: "Moshi moshi. This is Hotaru calling for Gary Oak."
  301. Machamp: "Aaaaaaaaampcha. Cha." The line goes silent again.
  302. You whisper to Narrator: Did you see my question?
  303. Narrator: "What? I got a call? I don't care, I'm busy. Just hang up."
  304. Hotaru: "Gary motherfucking Oak you answer your phone rightt now young man."
  305. Narrator whispers: I didn't, sorry. What was it?
  306. Narrator: "Hey hey! Stop pushing meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee----
  307. Gary: "This shit better be important for my Machamp to push me to the line. Who is it?"
  308. Hotaru: "Hotaru Joy, calling about Irene. Did she have a Magearna, last you saw her?"
  309. You whisper to Narrator: Is the Magearna Poke Ball still out in the lobby somewhere? I just thought of something but I think I need to be able to see it for it to work.
  310. Gary: "Huh? I dunno, maybe? She mentioned having a legendary pokemon. I didn't care at the time. Do you think you found her? She's blond."
  311. Gary whispers: Yeah, it is.
  312. Hotaru: "We found Magearna with a pokeball registered to her ID, next to a pile of multiple skeletons. No hair or flesh to identify someone by, so it's not a sure thing until the genetic testing is done to identify the bodies. But the nurses at the Center believe Magearna's psychologically damaged from her trainer's death."
  313. You whisper to Narrator: I'm going to Empathy it, trying to figure out its feelings and what's going on in its head, if it can be detected. 4+1+3+5
  314. You whisper to Narrator: Total: 13
  315. Gary whispers: You'd need to see the actual pokemon for that without telecommunication.
  316. Gary: "That's what they think, huh?"
  317. Gary: "And I'm guessing they won't try to identify from the bones who they all are?" Gary sighs heavily, "No, I shouldn't expect that. It's not their job to do that sort of stuff."
  318. You whisper to Narrator: Darn. I thought it was the actual Pokemon as dormant. Oh well.
  319. Gary: "And you can't actually take it to me now. That deserves to go to the family if it's believed to be her. And whoever else is there. 'pile of bones'."
  320. Hotaru: "Right."
  321. Gary: "I want to be sure, though. You're in Suzuka's Center, right?"
  322. Hotaru: "Yes."
  323. Gary: "Tell her to hold them. I'll come there with equipment to identify them before they get sent out to anyone."
  324. Hotaru: (( (typing?) ))
  325. Nurse Joy: (( Nope ))
  326. Hotaru: "Alright. When will you be coming out?"
  327. Gary: "Tomorrow morning. I can't leave Viridian unattended for too long so I won't be staying. Just long enough to identify the bones."
  328. Gary: "...I'll also bring your licenses. Regardless if it's Irene or not."
  329. Hotaru: "Alright. Thank you, Mr. Oak."
  330. Gary: "If it is Irene, don't thank me. Her fate could easily be yours."
  331. Hotaru: "That's why there's four of us, Mr. Oak. We watch each others' backs."
  332. Gary: "...I really hope that makes the difference. I'll see you in the AM."
  333. The line ends.
  334. Hotaru: Hotaru hangs up the line, and walks over to Suzuka.
  335. Ma-Nyeo: "What did he say?"
  336. Nurse Joy: "How's grumpykins?"
  337. Hotaru: "So if and when you send someone to retrieve the bones, don't send them off to anyone yet. He's coming by in the morning with equipment to verify who all the bones belong to. He's also bringing our licenses."
  338. Nurse Joy whispers: Yeah, it was in ball form when found but recalled into its ball. It was still in its ball when Wolfgang came back with it. It was in her hands.
  339. Nurse Joy: "...Huh?"
  340. You whisper to Narrator: So I'd have to track her down later, then.
  341. Cassiopeia: "Oak is coming down here instead?"
  342. Young Jenny: "...You're bullshitting me."
  343. Hotaru: "No lies."
  344. Nurse: "He's leaving his actual house?!"
  345. Ma-Nyeo: "That's wonderful."
  346. Sarah: "Oh! Well... that makes things smooth over a touch."
  347. Hotaru: "We're very good at persuading people."
  348. Sarah: "You're the one that was on the phone hota."
  349. Nurse Joy: "I...I should clear out some space for his equipment."
  350. Nurse: "I'll help."
  351. Hotaru: "That'll make things a lot smoother, yes."
  352. Young Jenny: "I should ready a sizeable paper of insults for him."
  353. Nurse Joy: "No, Sadako. Bad."
  354. Hotaru: "Sada, he's already aware he needs to seek psychological help. And he may be in for a lot of grief. More grief. As if he needed more grief."
  355. Hotaru: "So he's going to be hurting enough without your tongue lashing at his open wounds."
  356. Hotaru: "I'm sure you can find other ways to keep your tongue busy."
  357. Young Jenny: "Would be a lot less grief if he actually helped people be ready for their journey."
  358. Nurse Joy: "Ahaaaaa. Tongues."
  359. Young Jenny: "Oi! My tongue does what it wants!"
  360. Hotaru: "That's more or less what we're a test case for, Sada."
  361. Sarah: "Well... I suppose now would be the time to pull him out of that downward spiral?"
  362. Nurse Joy: "Hey, Sadako. Go wag your tongue at your mother. Be sure it says 'there's some bones in route 1. A pile of 'em. Bring 'em to papa'."
  363. Hotaru: "If we can achieve the not-dying quest completion as trainers, we'll be able to persuade him to stop being a mourning-butt. So if he's mourning in the morning, don't be a butt. Even if yours is nice."
  364. Young Jenny: "...That's just all kinds of weird, Suzuka."
  365. Avara: attack of the joys
  366. Sarah: Sarah's just chuckilng at all the bad inuindos.
  367. Young Jenny: Young Jenny stands up and walks to the door, "I'll tell ma. And I'll just not be around when Mournwood is around. I can't beat a dead horse when I'm not there."
  368. Hotaru: "I'm sure you'll find someone who'll ask you to beat them one day, Sada."
  369. Young Jenny: "See ya, dicklets. Don't break before I see ya again!"
  370. Young Jenny: Young Jenny has exited the Center.
  371. Hotaru: "So... that's that part of things taken care of."
  372. Hotaru: "We'll be able to handle Magearna in the morning, once the bone tests are done."
  373. Nurse Joy: "Isn't everything coming up joyous?"
  374. Ma-Nyeo: "Ehehehe... yeah."
  375. Sarah: "Badum tss."
  376. Hotaru: "A very joyful time, yes. And I'm hoping we'll have a very joyful adventure. But we've got to look into one more thing tonight."
  377. Cassiopeia: "The children with nightmares that Glade mentioned, right?"
  378. Nurse Joy: "Who's glade? And who's having nightmares?"
  379. Hotaru: "Let me back up and try to explain."
  380. Sarah: "It's a smol lil' ralts that needs some sleep outta town.
  381. Hotaru: "On our way, not terribly far from the bone pile, we found a ralts with pink hair and a blue horn, who hasn't slept in a long time. She's convinced she'll die if she sleeps, and wants to save 'little ones' from a vaguely-described 'thing' that does 'things' to them over at the beach."
  382. Hotaru: "I'm curious if the thing and the things and the little ones are connected to the A and S hunts you have posted."
  383. Hotaru: "She was very sleep-deprived, so her cognitive abilities were... very impaired. But Dark Type is suggested by how she doesn't think psychic-ness will have any effect on the thing."
  384. Hotaru: "Did I miss anything, Mantra? You were the one best able to talk with her."
  385. Ma-Nyeo: "I don't think you missed anything. That's what the little ralts said."
  386. Nurse Joy: "Interesting coloration of the Ralts. But then, the Magearna was an interesting color too. And we have an interestingly...everything I guess, Gardevoir somewhere in town so that's not all that unusual I suppose."
  387. Hotaru: "Can you tell us about that gardevoir, too?"
  388. Sarah: "Yeah. There's a raltz in Gary's town that doesn't seem to like the Gardevoir here."
  389. Nurse Joy: "Speaks human when she wants to. And that's not all that often. She gets along alright with Mister Johnson but he's the only one."
  390. Inn Keeper: "And Mister Johnson is a rowdy old man who especially hates people."
  391. Nurse Joy: "Unless you're there to fish. And only if it's to fish."
  392. Nurse Joy: "And to talk about fishing."
  393. Hotaru: "I get the feeling ralts-line exist to give people headaches."
  394. Ma-Nyeo: "They sound like a mob."
  395. Hotaru: "Hey, Casio, do you have any interest in fishing? You're quiet enough not to drive away fishies."
  396. Nurse Joy: "They're a pretty vocal group. But I don't think they're any worse than most Pokemon."
  397. Inn Keeper: "Tch, yeah. Like all those damn steel types in the Viridian Forest? Fuck those guys."
  398. Nurse Joy: "Steel Types, ruining ecosystems they don't belong in..."
  399. Cassiopeia: It took three seconds for Cassiopeia to respond, as she didn't realize Hotaru was talking about her. "...Are you talking about me?"
  400. Hotaru: "Steel types in Viridian? That's... that's troubling."
  401. Hotaru: "Yes. Casio, short for Cassiopeia."
  402. Cassiopeia: "I haven't really fished much in my life, as where I've been there haven't been many fish to be found. But I could always learn."
  403. Cassiopeia: "And I'd prefer it if you didn't shorten my name. Only...my brother is allowed to do that."
  404. Hotaru: "Do you have anything shorter I can call you then?"
  405. Sarah: "Well, you gotta admit, you're quite enough to land a big hit on the more easily spooked fish."
  406. Cassiopeia: "...Not really? Where I'm from, brevity isn't really a virtue."
  407. Cassiopeia: "Perhaps that's just how I was raised, come to think of it."
  408. Hotaru: "Where I'm from, you don't have a lot of time in a fight to say a full name."
  409. Inn Keeper: "I think that's just most humans. We tend to enjoy two or less syllables for communication."
  410. Inn Keeper: "Why not use your last name if it's less of a mouthful?"
  411. Cassiopeia: "Hmm... My name represents the constellation of the Queen, though that probably wouldn't work as a nickname. It sounds too pretentious."
  412. Cassiopeia: "My last name? ...It's White, which is pretty short."
  413. Hotaru: "Queen works."
  414. Hotaru: "Just don't expect me to call you 'Your Highness'. Unless I do."
  415. Cassiopeia: "I wouldn't dream of it. I'm no royalty."
  416. Inn Keeper: "Queen. Like royalty. Hah. And White, eh? Kinda reminds me of a fantasy game...I miss White Rose in my party."
  417. Sarah: "Sounds fancy stuff."
  418. Hotaru: "If you're the White Queen, I guess we should make sure the Red Queen isn't off beheading people."
  419. Deep Blue: "The White Queen brings to mind the imagery of a chess piece. And, on that note, doesn't my name also--"
  420. Cassiopeia: "That's about enough, Beldum."
  421. Nurse Joy: "The White Queen and her Deep Blue? Sounds like a book title I'd love reading."
  422. Hotaru: "Deep Blue reminds me of the sea."
  423. Sarah: "Oh fancy fancy! Makin' yourself the big piece. And... honestly I'd read it too."
  424. Cassiopeia: Cassiopeia turns to her Beldum in mock frustration. "Oh, now look what you've done!"
  425. Deep Blue: "I admit nothing. Innocent whistling noise clip."
  426. Ma-Nyeo: "Should we visit the water's edge soon then?
  427. Inn Keeper: "Perhaps. But since you're staying overnight, come back here and pay me."
  428. Nurse Joy: "You shall not charge my cousin!"
  429. Inn Keeper: "Then you pay me. You don't own my inn."
  430. Nurse Joy: "...So Hotaru. You have to pay to sleep here. I'm sorry."
  431. Hotaru: "Don't worry, I was expecting to."
  432. Inn Keeper: "...You should be ashamed."
  433. * Hotaru looks at Inn Keeper.
  434. Hotaru: "So what kind of prices do you charge?"
  435. Inn Keeper: "Depends on seclusion. The more secluded, the pricier it gets."
  436. Inn Keeper: "Cheapest is the public room. It's only like, 2 rubi for a night. But you're subject to changing and sleeping around anyone else paying to be in that room. No privacy."
  437. Hotaru: "Nope."
  438. Hotaru: "Skip ahead a bit. How much for a private room?"
  439. Inn Keeper: "1 saffira for a night."
  440. Hotaru: "Expensive, but we should be able to deal with it. We'll work out rooming specifics later. For now, we have a beach to front."
  441. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo smiles.
  442. Inn Keeper: "Go fun the beach. Front the Johnson. Beware the vore."
  443. Nurse Joy: "I'm not a fan of vore, myself."
  444. Deep Blue: "They're starting again. We should leave."
  445. Inn Keeper: "I...opened myself for that."
  446. Hotaru: "It's not as bad as it could be, depending on the type."
  447. Hotaru: "... I get bored living inside a mountain."
  448. Sarah: "to be fair, mountains can get pretty boring."
  449. Narrator: I'll let you guys safely exit the center without more dialogue smacking you and keeping you there.
  450. Ma-Nyeo: Yay!
  451. Avara: exit-a-gogo
  452. Avara: do we want to talk to the person from the A-Rank now, or later?
  453. DNA: Probably now - better if we know where the person is.
  454. Sarah: Yeah, that's pretty fair.
  455. DNA: To be forewarned is to be forearmed!
  456. Avara: no, that doesn't mean warning someone means they'll have four arms.
  457. Avara: even if you warn them four times.
  458. Sarah: No that's four armed.
  459. * DNA /flex Four Arms
  460. Hotaru: "When we're done with business, mind if I visit this place?" Hotaru asked, waving at the Contest Hall.
  461. Ma-Nyeo: "Yes, lets!"
  462. Cassiopeia: "I don't mind. It is a rather opulent building."
  463. Miss Mallow: "She's always wanted to be a coordinator. We're just working on the stage presence."
  464. Sarah: "I don't have any objections. I'm actually curious about these contests."
  465. Hotaru: "It's not about her stage presence. It's about yours."
  466. Hotaru: "Contests are for showing off the pokemon, with the trainer helping achieve that."
  467. Ma-Nyeo: "Don't the trainers also dress up and get on stage with their pokemon? Even while the pokemon performs?
  468. Sarah: "Why not both?"
  469. Hotaru: "I'm hoping giving Magearna a goal to achieve that isn't about killing the enemy until they die to death might help."
  470. Hotaru: "Yes, the trainer does. And the trainer's part of the performance. But you'll be docked points if you try to make yourself the star and your pokemon assistants instead of the reverse."
  471. Ma-Nyeo: "Is... is this an abandoned laboratory...?"
  472. Hotaru: "It's probably Oak's. Don't touch the door."
  473. Hotaru: "Actually, this is Mana. So don't touch the anything."
  474. Hotaru: "Lab is off limits."
  475. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo frowns."
  476. Sarah: "What's up?"
  477. Ma-Nyeo: "We ran out of road."
  478. Hotaru: "We did."
  479. Hotaru: "There's no pokemon between us and the beach, though. Soooo..."
  480. * Hotaru runs!
  481. Pidove 2: Pidove 2 takes notice of sprinting humans!
  482. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo holds up her dress and runs after!
  483. Pidove 2: Pidove 2 also notices they're sprinting to the beach and...promptly does not chase
  484. Cassiopeia: "Quick, make a run for it!"
  485. Avara: pretty gardevoir!
  486. Ma-Nyeo: "Hello, are you the vore?"
  487. Hotaru: "... Voir, Mana. Not Vore."
  488. Sarah: "haha! What a fun little thing to need to sprint on the grass!"
  489. DNA: Oh, huh, Black Sclera.
  490. Gardevoir: "..." Gardevoir turns her head to look back at your group.
  491. * Hotaru doesn't want to bother Gardevoir until after taking care of the thing that things things. This IS where Glade said to be, right?
  492. Narrator: This is where Glade said the Gardevoir would be.
  493. Avara: ... where did glade said the thing that things would be?
  494. Ma-Nyeo: "Is this the Villa's Waters Edge?"
  495. Narrator: She said it was coming for the little ones. She didn't specify a location for that.
  496. Avara: too many weeks and too much vagues.
  497. Sarah: "Hey there! Excuse me, have you seen a pink ralts, about yea high? Really sleepy?"
  498. Gardevoir: "..." Gardevoir turns fully now, and stares at your group intently.
  499. Ma-Nyeo: She did specify a location to meet here. Which was here.
  500. Cassiopeia: Perception Sight - to see if Glade is in the vicinity. 2+4+5+3=14
  501. Avara: glade's quirk was cute and memorable. and way frustrating to understand things.
  502. Narrator: If the meet up location, when she left you guys, if what you mean. She said 'afore'. She was going to afore. And left north.
  503. Avara: okay.
  504. Narrator: Yes. Glade is difficult to understand.
  505. Avara: theeeen that's where i want to be. so when we're done here i'm going there.
  506. Narrator: And also difficult to be.
  507. DNA: I guess I know the result of my perception check, then!
  508. Avara: the sooner we resolve the thing thing situation the sooner nobody has to be exposed to glade ever again
  509. Narrator: Yes, soz DNA.
  510. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo is completely under the impression that this is where we were going to go. So someone else is going to have to sort her right from wrong.
  511. Narrator whispers: Confirmation: You do not see Glade anywhere.
  512. Hotaru: "Mana, I don't think Glade wanted to meet us here. The thing things things in other places."
  513. Cassiopeia: "I can't see her anywhere. Maybe she got the meeting place mixed up."
  514. Gardevoir: "...Glade told you to come here?"
  515. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo looks around, then nods. "S-sorry... I may have made a mistake."
  516. Sarah: "Well... she did head north? SO should we go looking for her? There was water back north? Maybe she ment that?"
  517. Hotaru: "Glade didn't tell us to come here, but said you'd be here. She also wanted us to help dealing with something that's attacking little ones."
  518. Gardevoir: "Do you know what she meant by little ones?"
  519. Hotaru: "Not really. We assume young humans or pokemon or both, but she was too sleep-deprived to specify anything."
  520. Ma-Nyeo: "Nothing beyond her own words. She said little ones. She spoke of nightmares."
  521. Sarah: "She seems to be... rather sleep deprived, so she wasn't entirely clear."
  522. Hotaru: "She used 'thing' as a descriptive word several times, in full seriousness."
  523. Gardevoir: "Glade can be a little difficult to understand at times, even when she's fully rested. But she has always had concern for others in priority over herself."
  524. Gardevoir: "She is a kind varient of my species. One I would say humans can trust. But you cannot trust me or the other lurking in the forest. A bit of advice, do not return here with any of my species in tow. The resulting conflict will not bring you fame or fortune."
  525. Ma-Nyeo: "Why can I not trust you?"
  526. Hotaru: "Indeed? I'm guessing that's related to why the imperious and pompous ralts in Viridian had something against you."
  527. Hotaru: "Mana, stop approaching."
  528. Sarah: "Also there seems to be one with a bit of an ego in the next town over that doesn't like you too much."
  529. Ma-Nyeo: "Wha? Oh."
  530. Gardevoir: Gardevoir remains facing you and motionless when approached, "The varient in Viridian is power hungry. Above all else with a vendetta against a particular kind of human. Give into her and you will lose a sizeable chunk of your population."
  531. Gardevoir: "Bring her here, and there will no longer be sand on this beach."
  532. Hotaru: "Had a feeling she was bad news."
  533. Hotaru: "Thanks for the information. Trust or not, do you mind if we come talk again later, when there aren't things that need to be thinged in the thing?"
  534. Gardevoir: "Trust me if you want to. But simply do not bring any of my species here and I will not harm you."
  535. Gardevoir: "And, also, you will tolerate Edwin's antics. Disobedience in that matter is non-negotiable."
  536. Hotaru: "Edwin's the fisherman, right?"
  537. Gardevoir: "Correct."
  538. Hotaru: "Okay."
  539. Hotaru: "We'll be back later, then. Good luck with your magikarps."
  540. Sarah: "And thanks for the advice!"
  541. Gardevoir: 'Gratitude."
  542. Cassiopeia: "So now that we have stated we aren't going to abet that tiny troublemaker, we should see if we can find Glade - or at least more information on the nightmare inducer."
  543. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo frets for a moment before she bows and follows after Cass and Hotaru
  544. Hotaru: "Yes. I think it'd be good to check on Glade first, since she said it'd be happening 'soon'."
  545. Cassiopeia: "I do remember one folklore tale back home about a Dark-type that induced nightmares in children, though that doesn't mean that's the one."
  546. Avara: requesting port of the tele variety
  547. Sarah: "Well either way, our psychic friendo can't do too much against the dark type. So... thankfully we can spot her!"
  548. Ma-Nyeo: "Darkrai? Or is there another one?"
  549. Narrator: Where am I teleporting?
  550. Avara: to the pink ralts
  551. Narrator: To Route 1? Okay.
  552. Ma-Nyeo: Perception (seeing) looking for footprints to lead us to where she chose to meet us. 2+1+3+7=13
  553. Ma-Nyeo: "She's this way."
  554. Cassiopeia: "I was thinking of Darkrai, yes. You know of it too?"
  555. Ma-Nyeo: "Mmhm."
  556. Sarah: "I'm not to knowledgeable on 'em."
  557. Ma-Nyeo: "H-hi!"
  558. Sarah: "Oop! There she is!"
  559. Hotaru: "Hello! We are back and fully un-distractified."
  560. Glade: "Owo?!" Glade looks surprised when your group magically appears before her.
  561. Glade: "Ohai, have we met?"
  562. Hotaru: "We have met."
  563. Hotaru: "Hooman Beans that want to help you stop the thing that things little ones."
  564. Ma-Nyeo: "We booped horns. We're here to help the little ones from being thinged by the things at the things."
  565. Glade: "Mignons! Oh how have Glade missed thee! How twas your trippe to distracterous?"
  566. Hotaru: "We distractified others to un-distract ourselves!!"
  567. Sarah: "That's... actually about right. And we got advice from the friendly neighborhood voir."
  568. Glade: "Heirmolni?"
  569. Hotaru: "She didn't say her name, but she was at the beach."
  570. Glade: Glade nods, "Yes. Her. Did you get candy?"
  571. Hotaru: "We did not. We wanted to make sure we were here to help you in time for the thing."
  572. Hotaru: "We'll talk to her about things later. Maybe candy, maybe not, but we wanted to learn a bit about why she and the power-hungry ralts in the far human place hate each other."
  573. Glade: "Otomo?'
  574. Hotaru: "She calls herself 'queen' and a lot of the wild pokemon in Viridian obey her."
  575. Glade: "Bwa hahahahahahaha! Otomo!"
  576. Hotaru: "Okay. So Otomo thinks Heirmolni is a disgrace and wants people to do mean things to her. We wanted to know the whole situation because we don't do things without good reasons."
  577. Glade: "Otomo is Appara. Appara is...are...wild. Selfish? Conquestive. Pokemon by Pokemon for Pokemon because Pokemon."
  578. Glade: "Not all Appara like other Appara. They have...subfamily lines in their families that's really only recognized by other Appara. But they have a strange mutual love and respect for one another, even if they hate being near one another if they're of rival subfamily lines."
  579. Glade: "But, generally speaking, hooman beans are all about protecting and expanding hooman beans. Appara's are about Pokemon for Pokemon. Conflict."
  580. Glade: "Heirmolni is..." Glade pauses and shrugs, "A Gardevoir."
  581. Glade: "Probably the definitive example of one from hooman's. She bonded with a hooman bean when you hoomans were everywhere. And her hooman died. And she bonded to the next family member. And repeated this until there's only one hooman bean left. She's not owned, but she bonded. And she loves. And she devotes."
  582. Ma-Nyeo: "That's so sweet."
  583. Hotaru: "Also explains a lot of the situation."
  584. Glade: "She is the exact opposite of what the Appara family as a whole stands for. But Otomo is...an extreme case of Appara. Having been wronged by hooman beans and losing countless brothers and sisters by their neglegent hand. For no reason other than 'the best of the best by order'."
  585. Cassiopeia: "They both have very different ways of handling loss, and it turned them into very different individuals."
  586. Sarah: Sarah will be silent as she hugs onto suzy mulling over what's being told to her.
  587. Glade: "Glade do good, yes?"
  588. Ma-Nyeo: "Yes yes very good."
  589. Sarah: "Quite good!"
  590. Ma-Nyeo: "Is it soon yet?"
  591. Glade: "Soon?" Glade tilts her head, "Soon for things of things to thing the things?"
  592. Ma-Nyeo: "Yes."
  593. Glade: "It not soon yet. Lilica hasn't stolen the little one yet."
  594. Sarah: "Wait... we're waiting for this Lilca to steal someone first?"
  595. Cassiopeia: "Wouldn't it be smarter to prevent someone from being stolen?"
  596. Cassiopeia: "We could figure out who Lilica is trying to steal, and plan accordingly. Like a stake-out."
  597. Sarah: "exactly."
  598. Glade: "When Lilica steals the little one, then it be soon. That's the first sign."
  599. Glade: "You want to stop Lilica? But why? Lilica loves the little one."
  600. Hotaru: "Stealing little ones from their big ones isn't very nice."
  601. Ma-Nyeo: "Is Lilica the nightmare dark one?"
  602. Glade: "No, Lilica isn't the thing."
  603. Glade: "Lilica can sense the thing better than anyone. She knows when its coming before its coming. So she goes to steal the little one she loves to ensure the thing doesn't get that little one."
  604. Glade: "She returns the little one after the thing leaves."
  605. Hotaru: "I think I get it."
  606. Cassiopeia: "Ah, now I see."
  607. Hotaru: "Lilica takes Isamu, the thing takes another kid. Isamu is found later, but the other isn't."
  608. Sarah: "...Okay, that's a bit of a reilef. This Lilica is doing the premtive thing for us. We just ambush it when it's looking for Lilica's protectee."
  609. DNA: (preemptive)
  610. Glade: "When Lilica steals the little one, then soon happens that night. Lilica's been very active lately. So soon is coming."
  611. Cassiopeia: "Lilica's a friend of yours, then? What species is...she?" Cassiopeia makes a guess.
  612. Glade: Glade opens her mouth to talk and pauses.
  613. Glade: "Black and purple with slim arms and legs?"
  614. Glade: "Manipulate species! You hooman beans call her species the manipulate species!"
  615. Cassiopeia: Cunning: Manipulate Pokemon? 1+4+4+3=12 (STUNT! 1 Stunt Point)
  616. Ma-Nyeo: Cunning (Poke) 6+2+2+6=16 (STUNT! 6 Stunt Points)
  617. DNA: (I know which species you mean but I must learn IC!)
  618. Glade whispers: You recall the pokedex entry by heart: Gothorita, the Manipulate Pokmon and the evolved form of Gothita. Gothorita uses starlight as its power source. It arranges rocks in the same way as the stars, and can use its Psychic powers to control people and Pokmon.
  619. Hotaru: Cunning (Pokemon Lore) 1+3+1+5=10 (STUNT! 1 Stunt Point)
  620. Cassiopeia: "Ah, of course. Gothorita. Deep Blue, can you play the entry for us?"
  621. Avara: .... sadness.
  622. Deep Blue: "Gothorita. Manipulate Pokémon; first evolution of Gothita.
  623. Gothorita uses starlight as its power source. It arranges rocks in the same way as the stars, and can use its Psychic powers to control people and Pokémon."
  624. Sarah: "Oooh. Sounds fancy."
  625. Hotaru: While I'm at it, Cunning (PKMN) for info on what a Magearna is. 2+1+5+5=13
  626. Deep Blue: "I assume that Gothorita uses its manipulation abilities to spirit the child away, rather than directly snatching it by force."
  627. Ma-Nyeo: "So we wait."
  628. Glade: "The hooman bean she loves saved her when she was but a newborn."
  629. Glade: "They've been off and on super duper superness friends as they've aged. But no matter what, they never let anyone hurt each other."
  630. Sarah: "That's... acutally super sweet to hear."
  631. Ma-Nyeo: "I want to be her friend."
  632. * Hotaru is thinking about Magearna while waiting.
  633. Glade: "It doesn't happen much anymore. That kind of friendship between hooman beans and us pokebods. I like hooman beans, for the most part. And...I want to keep things like that going. If all the hooman beans are gone, that'll never happen!"
  634. Glade: "So, the thing that things things must be stopped!"
  635. Hotaru: "We'll stop the thing, for sure."
  636. Sarah: "Going for the young is a rather fugged up thing to do in general."
  637. Cassiopeia: "Glade, when is this kidnapper most likely to strike? Do we need to wait until sundown?"
  638. Glade: "Lilica follows the road into villa of water's edge. So I'm waiting here for her to come by. If you don't want to wait, where will you mignons be? Glade fetch mignons when needed."
  639. Glade: "The thing you mean? It only occurs super duper superness into the night. Well after most hooman beans can keep themselves awake. But Lilica usually grabs her little one much much earlier in the day."
  640. Glade: "When Lilica gets her little one, the thing comes that night."
  641. Cassiopeia: "Midnight, maybe?"
  642. Hotaru: "We don't have any other distractions that need distracting. So I'm fine waiting out here, unless anyone else has a reason not to."
  643. Cassiopeia: "Oh. The time when the moon is highest in the sky." Cassiopeia thought Glade probably did not know the meaning of the word 'midnight'.
  644. Ma-Nyeo: Ma-Nyeo looks up to see if the moon is in the sky.
  645. Glade: "Oh yes, around then."
  646. When you look up at the sky you can see evening beginning to settle in.
  647. The sun is starting to set.
  648. Deep Blue: "Three days from now...we must find an owner for the Magearna."
  649. Avara: DNA
  650. Avara: hotaru's taking the Magearna in the morning.
  651. Ma-Nyeo: "Oh, a hooman is going to check these bones."
  652. Avara: we'll have our licenses in the morning.
  653. DNA: Oh, I know. Deep Blue is just a calendar on autopilot.
  654. Avara: someone needs to update himself.
  655. Sarah: "Ah! Right, so please don't mess with them. Did you see what happened to them?"
  656. Cassiopeia: "...We're dealing with the Magearna in the morning. Remember?"
  657. Deep Blue: ".........Updating entry."
  658. Glade: Glade turns to the bones, "...They're still there? Glade won't mess with them."
  659. Glade: "Death bugs leave them there as they pass through."
  660. Hotaru: "What are death bugs?"
  661. Glade: Glade thinks hard.
  662. Glade: "Hoomans call them...Butterfly species."
  663. Hotaru: CN (PKMN) 5+3+3+5=16 (STUNT! 5 Stunt Points)
  664. Cassiopeia: Cunning - Which Butterfly? 4+3+1+3=11
  665. Glade whispers: Beautifly.
  666. Hotaru: "Beautifly, the butterfly pokemon that drinks prey down to their bones."
  667. Hotaru: "That explains why she'd be bones after being missing for less than a day."
  668. Cassiopeia: "Oh, yes, they are prone to predation, aren't they..."
  669. Glade: "They used to only hang around the forest."
  670. Glade: "But they've been around here more frequently. Something must've happened..."
  671. Ma-Nyeo: "But steel types forced them out?"
  672. Glade: "...That would do that for suresses."
  673. Hotaru: "I guess we'll have to look into that when we get there."
  674. Hotaru: "Steel types... sheesh."
  675. Hotaru: "Those are the hardest to deal with as enemies."
  676. Hotaru: "Well. If you can't get a good ground type on your side."
  677. Sarah: "...Huh. I... always forget those things are predators."
  678. Deep Blue: "..."
  679. Hotaru: "But uh... earthquakes and caves. Not a fun combinatino.
  680. Time: 6:32 PM
  681. Avara: skip to the time that things that thing need to be thinged?
  682. Narrator: So, that being said! Based on the information you've gathered from Glade, Lilica probably isn't going to grab Isamu today. Did you guys want to do anything else before the day is over?
  683. Avara: when next session happens
  684. Avara: ohhh
  685. Avara: okay.
  686. Avara: eh. not really.
  687. Avara: tomorrow's a promising day full of thing-smashing though.
  688. DNA: Lemme smash!
  689. Avara: and possibly REVENGE
  690. DNA: ...I'm sorry, but only partially.
  691. Avara: ??
  692. Narrator: Lemme smash!
  693. Narrator: No John.
  694. Avara: puny humans. i have come to smash.
  695. Grace: Blue AND yellow?
  696. Narrator: Wut
  697. Narrator: Look what you did DNA
  698. Avara: quoting hulk from world war hulk
  699. Narrator: lol
  700. DNA: It's "No, Ron, go find Becky."
  701. Avara: Puny humans, I have come to smash.
  702. Narrator: I heard John
  703. DNA: Gracie, you're after my heart again
  704. Narrator: Close enough!
  705. Narrator: Grace is awesome, yes.
  706. Narrator: This has only been repeatedly established as absolute.
  707. Narrator: But, on to important matters!
  708. Next week we have choices.
  709. Grace: I indrectly try not at all. :A
  710. Narrator: Were there things that people wanted to do BEFORE Gary arrives?
  711. Narrator: Or did people want to just start the session in the morning at the center?
  712. Ma-Nyeo: Find the residence of the person who knows about things.
  713. Avara: i'd prefer to handle the bones and the magearna before talking to the person about the thing
  714. Ma-Nyeo: It might be a false lead pointing to Lillie, but then we can difinitively solve that lead.
  715. Grace: Maybe peak around at the contest center if we're just still waiting.
  716. Narrator: I think Rob's talking about the Rank A not the Rank S
  717. DNA: That sounds like the Rank A bit, yes.
  718. Ma-Nyeo: yes
  719. Narrator: Rank A is posted by Isamu's mother.
  720. Narrator: About killing the thing constantly kidnapping her son.
  721. Ma-Nyeo: Then yes, very good idea to clear that up
  722. DNA: Time to clarify!
  723. Avara: as said, i'd prefer to handle that after the bones and the magearna, but if you're dead-set on doing it first, then okay.
  724. Ma-Nyeo: nah, we don't
  725. Narrator: I think Ava is afraid that it could spark EVENTS that involve LOTSA COMBAT
  726. Narrator: And wants to have her forces before hand.
  727. Ma-Nyeo: Yes, that sounds good.
  728. Ma-Nyeo: I was wondering if we could get some info on the maybe darkrai. But then if we're for sure it's about the one protecting her son, we can clear that up afterward.
  729. Avara: i like having all my preparations made before going to war, when given the chance.
  730. Avara: ... rob?
  731. Avara: we have tonight and tomorrow day free.
  732. Avara: tonight we have nothing scheduled. tomorrow morning, magearna/bones. tomorrow day, free. tomorrow night, the attack.
  733. Avara: we can talk to the mom during tonight or tomorrow day.
  734. Avara: and still be before the thing that things.
  735. DNA: Oh, I was under the impression that tonight was the attack. Is tonight just recon/information?
  736. Avara: we were all confused. kao just cleared it up.
  737. Narrator: So, Glade specified that the evening when Lilica steals Isamu, the actual kidnapping occurs.
  738. Narrator: And also specified that Lilica tends to get Isamu waaaaaaaaaaay earlier in the day.
  739. Narrator: But when she does, the thing shows up that night. Super late.
  740. Narrator: It's already after 6 in the evening for you guys.
  741. Grace: So we probably should let the mother know that it's a premtive safety kidnapping?
  742. Avara: lilica has not taken isamu today. thus, no kidnaps tonight.
  743. Narrator: And Lilica hasn't grabbed ISamu yet
  744. Ma-Nyeo: Okay, so we let Glade tell us when she does. Hopefully she remembers.
  745. Ma-Nyeo: Then we can carry on as normal.
  746. DNA: Ah! Okay, now I see.
  747. Avara: we can also keep an eye on isamu in town during the day, after talking to his mom
  748. Avara: so, does that sound good? start the next day, do the oak thing, talk to the mom, then go from there?
  749. Narrator: So, with this carefully placed at the end of the session: I think I'll let you guys mull over the best course of action during the week and we can just start where you guys like next session.
  750. Avara: ok
  751. Grace: aye aye!
  752. DNA: I actually like Avara's idea all said. If we need to go more specific we can, but that's a good base.
  753. Narrator: Excellent!
  754. Narrator: XP: +350
  755. Narrator: Because you guys did a lot but didn't actually finish a single quest.
  756. DNA: 1150 EXP total
  757. Ma-Nyeo: If we can have it posted in an organized list in the chat, I might be able to respond better. It's late and everything was a bit confusing and conversational.
  758. DNA: that makes 850 To Next Level
  759. Avara: 1,600 says my count
  760. Ma-Nyeo: same
  761. Narrator: Did DNA get the xp from last session?
  762. DNA: I...may not have. One moment.
  763. Narrator: It was 450
  764. DNA: I did not.
  765. Avara: we were at 1250 total.
  766. DNA: So yes, that would put it at 1600. My mistake.
  767. Narrator: o7
  768. DNA: o7
  769. Narrator: Saving campaign and log~
  770. Avara: huzzah for EXP
  771. Grace: o7
  772. Avara: thanks for the fun session
  773. Ma-Nyeo is disconnected.
  774. Grace: second that!
  775. Narrator: : 3 I'm glad you guys had fun.
  776. Grace is disconnected.
  777. Avara is disconnected.
  778. Narrator is disconnected.
  779. You have disconnected.
