  24. PENALTIES
  25. Students who violate this policy shall be subject to established disciplinary
  26. measures. District employees shall confiscate an electronic device found in ope

  33. activities on or off school property. (See EXCEPTION above.) Each confiscated device will be

  37. DISPOSAL

  39. Parents shall be notified within two school days after the electronic device is
  40. confiscated. If a telecommunication company’s name and address appears on the device, campus
  41. officials shall notify the company. Pare
  42. nts or telecommunication companies may obtain the release
  43. of the telecommunication device for a fee to be determined by the Administration. Unclaimed,
  44. confiscated electronic devices shall be held by the District for a period of 30 days after notification
  45. has been made. After the 30

  47. day period has expired, the District shall dispose of the electronic
  48. device.
