lgbt+ people will jump on any queer couple and ship them with their bodies and souls. That happens when there is so little lgbt+ representation on tv. Believe me i know what im talking about... And when you look at the big picture, korrasami is one of the only w/w relationship i know of that doesn't end up very badly. Korrasami is very positive representation and it means the world to a whole lot of people. So yeah, a queer couple reaches out to all queer women... you know?

Since there are so little queer couples on tv, as soon as i see one, i don't have the luxury straight people have to analyze the chemistry, the characters and the timing. I just ship them. I never got to actually make a choice, for example, like shipping korra with mako or bolin.
Yeah makorra can be cute and all, but the fact that korrasami even exists is enough to make me overlook that cuteness you know

I told you to stop because I made it clear that I don't favor the whole Korrasami coupling, but instead you proceeded to tell me that a queer coupling is important and suddenly brought up the whole "straight people have to analyze the chemistry" which came out of nowhere. And then came the part you say you never actually got to make a choice like shipping Korra with Mako or Bolin. You made it sound like somebody was forcing you to ship Korrasami.
And for the record, I don't see anything important about shipping anime couplings, not even the Korra×Mako coupling.

@808ProStreet the Thing that is forcing me to ship korrasami not a somebody. It is the fact that im LGBT+ and searching for representation, that i deeply need to accept myself.  Shipping any lgbt+ couplings is important because it allows me to see a reflexion of myself and of what i want to be in the world. LOK's universe is fiction yes, but the relationships are very real and reflect our society and youth.

It wouldn't matter to me whether you're straight or LGBT for that matter, and you can accept yourself for what you are, not what other people think. But does that give you the right to tell someone like me that shipping anime queer couplings are important all because it makes you feel what you want to be in the world?

Of course you'd think it's bullshit because you don't know where I go on the Web, so don't bother. And who gives a shit whether Korrasami is canon? I clearly don't. And that's basically my point entirely. I don't give a fuck how you ship anime relationships. If you wanna continue shipping Korrasami, that's fine. That's none of my business. But the fact I find Makorra to be a cute couple and consider Korrasami as overrated is none of your business too. And like I said, I don't care if you think it's important. Gay people are not going through anything much. You do have gay marriage rights, and you can even attack a priest or shut down a religious bakery just for having an opposing opinion.
