Opening Speech of the Crafters' Fair

Once again, Jurixe motions for silence.

Jurixe S. Nithilar says in a low, silken voice, "After the success of the Asterian Convention, which
brought together individuals from all civilisations to discuss and learn about each other's cultures
and traditions, the Asterian Restoration sought to spotlight another area of previously unhighlighted
knowledge."

Jurixe says in a low, silken voice, "'What other areas of knowledge transcend boundaries?' we asked
ourselves. 'What can we highlight that has previously been taken for granted?'"

Jurixe says in a low, silken voice, "The answer, this time, is the art of craft."

Jurixe says in a low, silken voice, "Through the ages, we have seen great crafters rise in
prominence due to their skill and expertise. Whatever their allegiances or creed, excellent
craftwork is universally appreciated in much the same way a good piece of writing or a well-fought
duel might be."

Jurixe says in a low, silken voice, "And so it is that we welcome you to the Crafters' Fair, the
largest such gathering of crafters over all factions that has ever been seen. Over the last few
years, they have been working tirelessly to perfect their skill and cooperate with others to present
to you this showcase of craftsmanship, demonstrating the best that Sapience has to offer."

Jurixe says in a low, silken voice, "You will see their hand in the upcoming fashion show, learn
from them in cooking demonstrations, and judge their taste in the cooking competition."

Jurixe says in a low, silken voice, "Without further ado, welcome to the Crafters' Fair!"
