  1. Isabell Murphy was born on December 21st, 1990 in Houston, Texas on an army base. She is 5'4" tall, weighs 105 pounds, has fiery red hair and green eyes. Her father, Jacob Murphy, a petty officer in the army, was stationed in Houston for the next several years. He met his wife, Emma O'Brien, when he was stationed in Ireland. Emma was already pregnant with Isabell when they were moved to Texas. Isabell had a happy childhood; her parents were very loving. She has two younger siblings, Erin and Jacob Jr. Erin is 3 years younger than her and Jacob is 5 years younger. She was nimble and flexible, so, when she was 3, her parents put her in tumbling classes. She was quite good at it and went on to be a full gymnast. Her parents encouraged her love and enthusiasm for the sport. When she was 12, her father got a new assignment and they moved to Savannah, Georgia. Isabell was sad to leave her friends in Texas, but soon settled into life in Georgia. Her accent was a little different than theirs and some kids made fun of her for it, one girl even beat her up because of it. Instead of withdrawing, Isabell used this teasing to her advantage. She began to act like it didn’t bother her at all and they stopped. She threw herself into school and gymnastics, and earned the nickname “teacher’s pet”. This suited her just fine, to make the other kids believe she was a goody two-shoes.
  2. Isabell loved school and gymnastics, and, as a result, her only “friends” were on her team. When she started high school, she found herself disinterested in most other people. She never found anyone to be close to, and she found herself alone most days her first couple of years of high school. She wasn't sure what was worse, being teased and tormented, or being alone. Her junior year of high school, everything changed. She met Bianca Cassidy and instantly felt connected to her. Bianca was a sophomore and had just started school there after being "home schooled" for a year. They met on the gymnastics team. Bianca wasn't the greatest gymnast, but she tried hard and Isabell admired her for her tenacity.
  3. The two quickly became nearly inseparable and their friendship blossomed into something more. Isabell was completely in love with Bianca and she told Bianca everything, becoming “best friends”. They found out that they were only 6 months apart in age, to the day. One day, Isabell finally confessed her love to Bianca, and found that Bianca felt the same way about her. Bianca had become like family to her household. Her siblings adored her and her mother expected her presence every day. Isabell and Bianca eventually told their families about their love for each other, during the latter part of Bianca's senior year of high school. Isabell's family wasn't thrilled with her "choice" but they loved her anyway. They refused to acknowledge Bianca as anything more than her friend, and that tore Isabell up inside. Bianca told her that her family was not accepting and they were making plans to run away together.

  5. After Bianca graduated high school, they took off to Boston together. They didn’t have a lot of money, but they did have an old car that Isabell’s parents gave to her. Isabell’s mom knew she was going to go no matter what, and gave her money to help her get by. This was money that her mom was saving and her dad didn’t know about it. Isabell teared up and hugged her mother and promised to stay in touch with her. Bianca and Isabell found life in Boston a bit tougher than they anticipated. No one wanted to rent an apartment to two barely adults with no jobs, so they ended up having to live out of hotels. They found that hotels ate up their money fast, and they were having a lot of trouble finding work. They began to engage in petty thievery, Isabell putting her gymnastics skills to good use. Their lack of experience ended with them crossing the wrong people, however and they decided to leave Boston for the bigger city of New York, where they hoped to get lost a little bit.

  7. Upon arrival in New York, the two women picked up work doing small time scams, hustling, with the occasional snatch and grab. Eventually, they caught the attention of a skilled jewel thief, later to be known to her as simply Rex, and he took them under his wing and helped them hone their skills. Among these skills, Isabell found she had a knack for leatherworking. She decided that if they were going to steal things that they needed masks, so she began to make them for them. Rex was pleased by this as well, and encouraged her to do this in her off time. Although Bianca was the more social of the two, Isabell seemed to better bond with him. He reminded her of her father, but had the accent of her mother, and perhaps that is what she saw in him. He became like a father figure to her, teaching her things that she needed to know and he helped keep them safe. He put them in touch with a local fence and chop shop and they offered to do some work for them in exchange for a different vehicle, as they could no longer drive Isabell’s car since it was known by the people they had crossed. Isabell even offered up some of her masks as payment. Rex eventually put them on his payroll so they could get a place of their own, and so they did. Isabell is happy to be alone with Bianca in her own place but she still visits Rex often and does not forget what he has done for both of them.
