Sabres debut new alternate jersey
  The Buffalo Sabres used the lure of the holiday shopping season to unveil their new alternate jersey. The club wore the new jerseys, which are primarily red with black and silver mixed in, for home games against Philadelphia on Nov. 22 and against the New York Rangers on Nov. 24. The jerseys were designed by Jager Di Paola Kemp Design of Burlington, Vt., the same company that created the Sabres' redesigned jerseys in 1996. The Sabres will wear the alternate jersey 14 times this season.
