  1. First of all; you do realize your effort worked, yes? Because it did. What might feel weird for you is that you don't get the same recognition your peers have. But that's exactly what i said: people tend to be remembered for only one role. Your fellow competitors are recognized, but only for that, instead of whatever else they do. So, as far as "fairness" is concerned, it's a fair system; it just happens to be one that's shitty for everyone.

  3. Understand that the apology in my first sentence is sincere, but connecting with people in their full multiplicity, instead of reducing them to one aspect, is emotionally difficult, and i can't guarantee you it's something we'll learn do to. Which is why i suggested in the second message that you should look for the people willing to do it. I know it's tough that you have to find some intrinsic motivation to compete, instead of the extrinsic motivation your peers get, but at least i'm glad you got to experience this in the controlled environment that is the world of playing video games.

  5. With all that said; please don't be afraid to single out people who aren't reporting you as a good player when they obviously should. These people aren't doing a disservice just to you, but to the whole community as well, by not being accurate. If they can't even be trusted to report you as a good player, who knows what kind of other talent they aren't also listing.
