**Special Containment Procedures:** SCP-1977 is to be kept on the ground in an air-conditioned sector of site 25. --No special protection is required around SCP-1977, as it poses no threat to the environment around it-- The room should be kept at a temperature no higher than six (6) Celsius. Twice a month, preferably at the beginning and the end of said month, should two (2) class C personnel go in to the containment facility of SCP-1977 to clean the surface of the subject with a damp cloth, being especially careful not to scrape or damage the surface of the doors. --At random times, the elevator's doors open and reveal the surface within.-- The inner surface of the elevator contains carpeting, stained walls, a musty smell, and a flickering light bulb. Upon trying to replace the light bulb, personnel have reported being dazed and dizzy, almost as a shock had passed through them. --No further tests were conducted to this day.--

**Description:** --SCP-1977 Is depicted as a regular elevator, possibly coming from an abandoned hotel--. It's doors will open only twice a day at 12:00:00 and 06:00:00. Further research conducted by Dr.[REDACTED] show that SCP-1977 came not from an abandoned hotel, but from the old; now torn down; sub-sector of site 27. Test subjects that are currently being tested with this SCP are showing signs of mild depression, and infrequent schizophrenic outbursts. The only (known) object inside of SCP-1997 is a flickering light bulb of unknown origin. Until further tests are conducted; this is to be treated as an Euclid object; and should be recognized as SCP-1977-1.

**Behavioral Notes:**
--Te be pending after further testing.--  Further testing has shown that SCP-1977-1 would sometimes flicker out; sometimes for periods of weeks; and then come back on only if a sacrifice of one (1) Cow or Lamb was made. The lamb/cow should be put inside the elevator, and left there for a total of three (3) hours. Only then should one (1) Class-C personnel attempt to open the door or SCP-1977 and check if the light is on. **We are currently testing for further information.**
