Where I live, there was a report of a dog being abused. It would be beaten, starved, and neglected. Then, it disappeared.The dog was never found. I never fully understood why anybody would do this. Although this happened only a few days after I moved in, we still got to rent the place. Anyway, my bedroom was most peaceful. Moving in was easy.

One day in my room, I smelled something awful, like a decaying animal. I smelled it from the air conditioner. There is a wall between at the back of the air conditioner, so I couldn't see inside it. I quickly called an exterminator to see if I had animals behind the wall. When he broke open the wall, what I saw sickened me.

Two decaying dog legs, and it’s head too. The police were involved, and they had it removed. Since this was the only problem area, they sprayed the house to get rid of the odor and left. After that, life went back to normal. The spray the used smelled like flowers, and I was calmed down after the sick event that just took place.

I’m sitting back, relaxing. The flower smell is starting to leave, and I’m fine with it. When the flower spray leaves though, in comes a new odor. it smells like decay, making me almost puke. This time, it smells worse. I then remember how the dog was never found, and we only found certain limbs of the dog. I suddenly pinpoint the smell. It’s coming from the living room air conditioner. I have three more air conditioners in the house.
