  4. Communication styles : Passive (Shy, walked all over), Aggressive (Angry, rude, sarcasm), Assertive (backing up point, logical thinking, calm)

  8. Resumes: Personal info document which outlines experience, edu, credentials & references. Functional: A resume that highlights special skills, awards & achievements. Chronological: A resume that gives edu, work & volunteer exp. Combination: Resume that combines both function & chronological.
  9. Learning Styles: Visual: Take notes/write Auditory: Tape lectures Tactile: Hands on.
  10. Multiple intelligences: Musical–rhythmic Visual Verbal logical bodily, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalistic
  11. Teamwork: Teamwork is a combo of interpersonal, communication, and consensus building skills. What makes a good team? A clear goal, High standards, strong leadership, members helping/support eo, contribute ideas, focused, free to ask questions, seek info & opinions, follow directions, solve problems.
  12. Decision Making: Process of developing & using criteria to select from choices that seem to be equal. 7 steps: 1. Identify clearly the decision you have to make
  13. 2. Identify the # of possible choices 3. Collect info about each option 4. Evaluate ea option by weighing it against what you think is important 5. Choose your best option 6. Take action to make your choice work 7. Evaluate decision based upon results and change it if necessary.
