A Taste of Kindness

>The light humming of a soothing voice almost lulls you back to sleep instead of waking you up.
>But the additional hoof rubbing softly on your arm makes sure you awake.
>When you do, you are met with Fluttershy's teal eyes.
>"Good morning sweetie."
"Morning Shy."
>She leans in and you share a small kiss before she flies up.
>"I'll make breakfast today!"
>She flies over to the door and then freezes, turning around to face you.
>"U-Unless that is, you w-wanted to make breakfast."
"You know I love it when you make it."
>"I'll just go downstairs and um make it then. If that's okay with-"
"Fluttershy, it's always okay with me."
>She gives you a sincere smile and flutters down the stairs.
>Such a sweet and kind mare she is.
>You're lucky to have even met her.
>After you chose Fluttershy that day, the others seemed to not be too upset.
>That might be because of her timid nature, but you made sure to individually thank them later.
>Most of them moved on and found other mates.
>Applejack surprisingly wanted to stay alone.

>Pinkie on the other hand found a relaxed stallion in Manehattan who was so chill he could actually normalize Pinkie's insanity.

>Rainbow Dash eventually got with Soarin after many attempts to impress him.
>He would have seen her interest in him sooner if he wasn't always snout deep in a pie.
>Rarity found herself a upper class stallion from Prance who now lives with her.
>They fit together perfectly.
>Twilight has chosen to continue her normal life in hope that one day she will, "Bump into a stallion."
>Hope that works out for her.
>You leave the bed and enter the bathroom.
>Once your morning routine is completed, you can smell the wonders coming from Fluttershy's kitchen.
>After you put on your pants, you dash down the stairs and jump into a chair.
>Fluttershy comes from the kitchen and places two plates of pancakes with syrup on the table.
"You're the best Flutters."
>"Aww, you're so nice to me."
"Who wouldn't be?"
>She giggles and begins eating her pancakes.
>You do too and god damn are they delicious.
>A robin flies through the window and sits at the table.
>Both you and Fluttershy look at it and back to each other.
>She smiles and breaks off a tiny piece of her pancake for the bird.
>The bird accepts the gift and flies back outside.
>Fluttershy finishes before you but waits for you to finish.
>When you do, she stands up.
>"I'll take the plates to the kitchen."
"No, allow me."
>She smiles, "You're such a gentlecolt Anon."
>You take her plate, walk into the kitchen, and put them in the sink.
>As you go back out, you see her laying on her back on the couch.
>Her long pink mane cascading down the side of the couch as she stares up at the ceiling.
>She has a smile on her face when you walk over.
>You lay down next to her and put an arm under her.
>With a swift movement, you bring her on top of you.
>She giggles and then just watches you.
>Waiting for you to do something.
>And you know exactly what.
>You bring your head forward and kiss her.
>She gives the kiss back and wraps her forelegs around your neck to get closer.
>She breaks the kiss and then nuzzles her head with your neck.
>Then she takes a deep breath.
>"I love you Anon."
"I love you too Fluttershy."
>She continues snuggling with you.
>This is great.
>Living with Fluttershy and the tranquility of her home.
>You should be glad you chose her.
>Now you can truly have a taste of kindness.
