  1. Mike Schmidt started his day, after a week of surviving the pizzeria. His fan still functioned, all the old posters and children's drawings hung up on the wall. The checkered floor still shone on by the dim light in the room.
  2. He was bored as hell.
  3. “When am I going to get pai-”
  4. The phone rang.
  5. “Huh...” He cautiously reached for the phone.
  6. “Beginning...” It spoke
  7. “Weird, first it spews demonic garble at me and now it's getting all cryptic?” Mike hung the phone up and resumed his duties.
  8. ------
  9. After the shift, Schmidt walked through the halls of the pizzeria, the halls covered in haunting news stories about the horrors of the pizzeria's history. Schmidt was already comfortable enough with believing this place was hell.
  10. He was stopped when the fox popped out of his curtains after 6AM, an oddity in his routine.
  11. “AH!” Mike yelped and jumped.
  12. “Relax matey, I ain't tryin' to hurt ye.”
  13. “Bullshit you aren't, explain why you run at my office at night then!”
  14. “Err...would ye believe that I malfunction?”
  15. “I'd sooner believe you're possessed by the devil.”
  16. “Aye, me too considerin' the awful things it makes me do.” The fox fumbled around a bit, toying with the curtains. Schmidt began to turn around and walk off “I'm sorry Schmidt, we're all tryin' to be nice at night, I just don't understand why I can't turn off my bloodlust during the dark hour...”
  17. Schmidt turned his head at the ashamed fox “Wait, what?”
  18. “We're tryin' to be friends with ye Schmidt, ye just kind of 'shut us out', so to speak.”
  19. “Are you serious? What's with all the spooky shit that happens with the cameras?”
  20. “Spooky?”
  21. “Don't play dumb, I've seen Bonnie's face up in front of the camera with their eyes blackened like it's the witching hour!”
  22. “Bonnie may be easily-angered but that doesn't sound like something they'd do.”
  23. “...I still don't trust you, it could all be a ruse.”
  24. “It's fine Schmidt, I understand. Just be sure to talk to me during the day rather than the night, at least.”
  25. “...Fine, but I'm still not trusting you at night.”
  26. “It's for the best that you don't, I'm sorry Schmidt.”
  27. Mike walked out.

  31. Week 2, Day 4, 3:26 AM
  32.
  33. The door was open, the robotic purple rabbit stood on the other side.
  34. “Bonnie.” Schmidt spoke.
  35. “Mike.” Bonnie replied.
  36. A silence passed between the two.
  37. “Mike, can we talk now?”
  38. “I don't see why you didn't try earlier.”
  39. “We did, you kept shutting the door on us.” The rabbit entered the room. “And now that we're face-to-face, mind telling me why you're so scared of us?”
  40. “W-well the tablet....” He flipped it up and showed the cameras to the rabbit. They displayed poor lighting and it showed Chica in one of their stranger poses.
  41. “O-oh jeez...no wonder you were so scared.” 'Was I seriously like that...?' They thought. Bonnie's ears wilted “I'm sorry for scaring you Mike...”
  42. “I-it's fine?” He was unsure of the situation, it felt odd. This robot didn't give off the 'killer' impression that was prevalent throughout the first week of his work. “Hey is what Foxy said true, that you are all just trying to talk at night except him?”
  43. “Well yeah Mike, he's been malfunctioning during the nights.”
  44. “Okay, well, can I meet up with the others then?”
  45. “Sure thing Mike! Let's go and meet up with Chica!
  46. ----------------------
  47. 3:41 AM, The Kitchen
  48.
  49. “Chica, we finally got Mike out of the office!”
  50. “Oh thank heavens! I thought you were gonna starve, ya got no meat on those bones!” She spoke in a tone that oozed hospitality.
  51. “Err, thanks...?”
  52. “It's so great to meet ya Moikey!” The bulky animatronic shook his hand wildly with both hands “I hope you like pizza, because I got sumfin' for ya!” She dug around in the refrigerator and handed him a box. He opened it to reveal it was meat lovers' with stuffed crust.
  53. “Oh, thanks” Mike stiffly said.
  54. “Whats with tha tone? If I didn't know any bettah I'd say you weren't grateful!” Chica stated, hands on their hips
  55. “It's nothing like that, I'm just kind of out of it...” He looked around him while speaking “It's weird not having you guys seem like you're hunting me. Well, except Foxy.”
  56. Chica sighed “Yeah, we don't know how to fix 'im up so we gotta spook him back into the cove on occasion.”
  57. “Well uh, it was nice meeting you Chica”
  58. She held out her hand “Friends?”
  59. He hesitated.
  60. “I...see, sorry.” Chica's hand went back down, Bonnie's ears did too. “I can still see you're uncomfortable about it.”
  61. “...No. I have to do this. You've done nothing wrong.”
  62. He put down the pizza on a counter and held out his hand
  63. She took it and they both firmly shook. Bonnie looked pleased as well.
  64. “Thanks Moike, you're a real sweetie” she pecked him on the cheek with her bill, making a smooching noise.
  65. “Uh...thanks.” He awkwardly fumbled a bit before turning to Bonnie and looking and forth between them and Chica “So, what now?”
  66. “Now, we introduce you to our leader!” Bonnie cheered.
  67. “Freddy?” Mike asked
  68. “Yeah, he's a nice guy. Really cares about us.”
  69. “Well, if you all aren't so bad then maybe he won't be either.”
  70. “He's da best! Wouldn't doubt him for a moment.” Chica cheered.
  71. “Want to come along Chica?” Bonnie asked.
  72. “Nah I gots pizzas to make for the kids, hey Moike want me to store ya pizza?”
  73. “Sure, that'd be nice.”
  74. Him and Bonnie went in the direction of the stage.
  75. -----------------------
  76. 4:20 AM, Near the stage
  77.
  78. The two made their way.
  79. “Hey Mike?”
  80. “Hm?”
  81. “Can I give you a kiss too?”
  82. “W-what for?” 'Asking those kinds of questions...' He put his hand on the back of his head.
  83. “Well, Chica got to give you one so...”
  84. “Err, okay?”
  85. Bonnie leaned up and pecked him on the cheek in a similar manner, giggling a little.
  86. 'God this is weird, getting kissed by big bulky robots that wanted to kill me? ...Well, I thought they did but...' He trailed off in thought.
  87. ...
  88. “We're here!” Bonnie exclaimed
  89. “Hello Schmidt. It is good to meet you in-person.”
  90. “Likewise..." Mike tilted his head "You aren't going to kill me, right?”
  91. “Heavens no, what kind of entertainer kills their audience?”
  92. “Well I'm not exactly a kid.”
  93. “No, but you still watch us regardless.”
  94. “True, I guess you're right.” Mike offered his hand to the bear “Sorry for being suspicious, the cameras were acting weird and put some bad light on you I guess.”
  95. “Sorry for not getting to you sooner Mike, I'd have preferred if you weren't scared of us on the job sooner than now.” Fazbear took Mike's hand and shook.
  96. “Well, at least most of this is remedied right?”
  97. “Yes, most of it...” Fazbear glanced to the cove “I hope Foxy wasn't too bad at night, we can't seem to help him out much.” Freddy shook their head “Every time we try and restrict him he just keeps getting loose and going on a rampage in the pizzeria. Darn fool's out for your blood.”
  98. “It can't be helped, he's genuinely sorry in the morning after my shift.”
  99. “How did you find that out?”
  100. “He poked his head out yesterday and told me everything, it's why I'm even here next to Bonnie.”
  101. “Ah, yes. Foxy's been trying to atone for the problems he causes inadvertently. He really wants to change but we just can't figure it out.”
  102. “Well, maybe maintenance can fix him?”
  103. “What is maintenance?” Bonnie asked
  104. “...You've gotta be kidding me, nobody repairs you?” Mike asked, shocked by their question.
  105. “Repairs?”
  106. “...Someone that takes care of you?”
  107. “Isn't that what you are Mike?”
  108. “No, well, kind of. I just watch you all, I can't do anything to fix you.”
  109. “Fix?”
  110. “Someone that deals with your body's problems, a repairman.”
  111. “Oh, we don't have anybody that does that for us. It sounds nice though...” Bonnie scratched their head.
  112. Fazbear spoke “So, now that we have established that everyone except Foxy wants you to be in good condition...” he pointed to the dining room “How about we have ourselves a pizza to celebrate?”
  113. “What about Foxy?”
  114. “It's 6AM”
  115. “Oh...so it is.” 'Time sure flies sometimes' Schmidt rationalized.
  116. Foxy popped out of the curtains and jogged over to them.
  117. “Good morning Mr. Schmidt! I see you considered what I said!”
  118. “Hey Foxy.” Schmidt replied.
  119. “I'm really sorry for all the problems I've caused for everyone and uh...well, can we be allies?” They held their hook out and fumbled a bit “Oh err, sorry” Foxy held out their actual hand “force a' habit.”
  120. Mike softly laughed and shook it without fear.
