  1. Sanctuary:
  2. Sanctuary is exclusively human and any monsters or demons found within it's borders are hunted down and killed due to extreme prejudice. Humans who shelter monsters are considered traitors and killed as well. Humans born and raised in Sanctuary are taught that all monsters and demons are evil. Those unwilling to buy into their way of thinking are exiled, often seeking shelter in Thaus or Pasive. They lack much metalwork as they have little access to raw materials as Belitram refuses to trade with them and their only source is undercover smugglers, who never last more than a month at best. They are ruled by a King, a man called Douglas Liu, with a Parliament; though it might as well be ruled solely by Douglas with how often Parliament sides with him.
  3.
  4. Belitram:
  5. Like Sanctuary is exclusively human Belitram is exclusively monster and extremely prejudiced against humans. It's current political environment can be linked to it's ruler, a stubborn and prideful Tarvos known as Fergus Kratos who claims to be a descendant of the greatest ancient war hero; Zagan who belonged to the now thought to be extinct Minotaur species. In fact all of his aides claim to be descended from the war heroes and such have strong resentment for humans. Belitram and it's monsters owe their lives to the mountains that supply them with the raw materials for metals, without it they may have been wiped out all those years ago.
  6.
  7. Navim:
  8. Navim is mostly a land filled with demons though there are a few monster and human settlements here and there. Most of the demons have little want to interact with humans or monsters yet all share a burning desire to do battle. As such, most settlements are dangerous to stop in unless one is a moderately powerful fighter. The capital looks more like ruins than anything but it is in fact highly populated. Perhaps the demons just prefer the rundown look. It's king, aptly titled the Demon King, is rumored to have participated in the ancient war as well as possessing the ability to change forms like monsters.
  9.
  10. Thaus:
  11. Once a collection of exiled humans and monsters it eventually grew into the massive country it is today. While it has no technical army it has managed to become a diplomatic superpower thanks in part to it's ability to have access to both Belitram and Sanctuary's raw materials. It also includes bored and curious demons who mainly come to work as physical labor or spiritual mediums to pass parts of their long lives. Thaus is easily the most cultured country in all of Erados due to this blending of races but with that boast comes a great many problems. Extremists from both Sanctuary and Belitram constantly and easily sneak in to target the other races due to open borders. It's wealth also makes it a popular target for rogue demons and bandits alike.
  12.
  13. Pasive:
  14. Pasive is less than a formal country and more like a militant offshoot of Thaus. It is a country of soldiers and it's sole purpose is to be the military might of coexisting species and to lend credence to Thaus' political threats. It boasts the strongest army due to the mixed races but is unable to do anything except defend unless Thaus is invaded.
  15.
  16. Ardis:
  17. Ardis did not participate in the ancient war on monsters and demons. They saw, and still see, no immediate threat from allowing the other races to exist. This has earned them the ire of both Relin and Crayld and have had trade sanctions placed on them. This is yet another thing they care little about. Near the end of the ancient war two crevices opened up, one right in the middle of their largest forest and another along one of their roads. Both have shown to be filled with what are thought to be primal demons, they lack human thought, and raw materials ranging from mysterious ores to extremely dense wood. It has drawn a great many adventurers making it very wealthy and there are rumors monsters face no condemnation there.
  18.
  19. Relin:
  20. As a country founded on paranoia and lies it's a miracle Relin has survived to become such a superpower. It's people are tough, most of the population working either in the mines or as blacksmiths. It is perhaps the most technologically advanced country. The remaining population struggles to produce enough food for their fellow peasants and the nobles so they are still dependent on trade between Crayld for survival. This country is mainly responsible for the eradication of monsters and demons on the eastern continent, something they are most proud of. However the paranoia has yet to stop, monster hunts are frequent and are used to control the population; only nobles are safe from these hunts. It's worth noting most hunters would probably flee at the sight of a real monster.
  21.
  22. Crayld:
  23. Much less powerful than Relin, they played a mostly support role in the eradication of monsters and demons; things such as supplying healers and mages as well as funding the war effort. This once rich country has fallen into decline in recent years as with their relevance. They have been reduced to guardians of the forest maze and supplier of food to Relin and many are dissatisfied with that fact. Monster sympathizers have begun popping up in this county and Crayld lacks the power to move against them; Relin is too busy with it's staged monster hunts to send any soldiers.
  24.
  25. Deadlands:
  26. Once the prosperous monster kingdom of Zenon now all that remains are torched villages and collapsed structures. The land itself is incapable of supporting life. It's rumored that vengeful spirits roam the battlefields and castles, searching for a way to kill their killers.
  27.
  28. Bovul:
  29. A mysterious island lost to time when an earthquake split it off from the mainland. Here humans and monsters live in harmony excluded from the suffering that the ancient war brought. The land is rich in resources, making it an ideal target for anyone who manages to locate it.
