  12. Following up a week later with progress check-in.
  13.
  14. On point 1. I talked to Emerge and they are happy to come give us a
  15. training about abuse 101.
  16.
  17. On point 2. The Exec committee and Paula are working on such a policy.
  18. We're also looking at "community codes of conduct" from various other
  19. organizations like Ubuntu, Mozilla, and Python.
  20.
  21. On points 3 through 5. I've had a conversation with Wikimedia who are
  22. wrestling with the problem of harassment between editors. Jointly, we're
  23. going to talk to CyberCivilRights soon. Further, I've started
  24. conversations with the Ada Initiative and CiviliNation. The latter two
  25. orgs are focused on online harassment and abuse. And Katie has a
  26. friend/neighbor who is interested in helping out as well.
  27.
  28. All of these orgs are skeptical of Tor, either because of their
  29. experience with abusers behind Tor, or direct experience with Tor
  30. community members. However, they're willing to continue talking in the
  31. early January.
  32.
  33. If conversations move beyond interest to actually trying to do
  34. something, we should create a small committee of 3 people and continue
  35. discussions.
