  1. -Ability Score Increase: Your Dexterity increases by +2 and your Wisdom increases by +1.

  3. -Age: Thri-kreen reach maturity at four years and rarely live beyond thirty or so years.

  5. -Alignment: Thri-kreen society is very loosely-organized and as such they tend towards chaos. They tend towards neutrality over good or evil, with most having a “live and let live” attitude towards things.

  7. -Size: Thri-kreen stand tall over other races, ranging anywhere from 7-8 feet in height. Males tend to be shorter and bulkier, females taller and more slender, save for their larger abdomen. Your size is Medium.

  9. -Speed: Your base walking speed is 35 feet.

  11. -Exotic Anatomy: Due to your significant anatomical differences from other common races, any armor or clothing you wear must be specially tailored or made for thri-kreen, increasing its cost by 10%.

  15. -Multi-limbed: You have a small set of secondary arms in addition to your large primary set. They are used for delicate work and as such cannot attack. They also cannot be used to initiate grapples, wield shields, or wear magic items. However, they can be used perform tasks independent of your primary arms, such as holding items, lighting a torch, picking a lock, or performing somatic components of spells when not holding anything.

  17. -Racial Memory: You inherit some of the memories of your ancestors, the more emotionally resonant, the clearer they are. Under certain conditions determined by your DM, you may roll a Knowledge check with advantage, especially when concerning thri-kreen history or history within your homeland.

  19. -Torpor: You do not sleep, instead going into a torpid state to rest for four hours every night, during which you are completely aware of your surroundings. You can become active again at will, but four hours total of torpor are needed to be the equivalent of a night's sleep.

  21. -Dasl: By mixing your saliva with sand and the root juice of a common plant called “Useful Grass” in the kreen tongue, you are able to craft simple tools and weapons out of a crystalline material called dasl. You have proficiency with the tools required to work this material (namely, your mouth and hands). Commonly crafted items include the gythka, a spear with three forked crystals at either end, and the chatchka, a large three-pronged throwing star.

  23. -Languages: You speak your own racial language, thri-kreen, which is largely composed of clicks, grinds, glottal stops, and short spoken syllables, accentuated through volume, body language, and the release of pheromones. Other races can learn this language, but without magical aid to emulate the proper pheromones, it will seem flat and lifeless to thri-kreen. You understand and can speak a simplified form of Common. Thri-kreen have difficulty with sounds involving the lips (as they have none): P, B, F, V, M, etc. and with varying their pitch, so their speech tends to be clipped and monotone.
