Dear Truck Muncher Team,

We here at Plexus Engineering Solutions would like to thank you for your effort and willingness to discuss your project with us.  We are very appreciative that your team took time out of your schedule to prepare and to meet with us.

The decision to sponsor a student design project was based on several criteria, including project originality, complexity, and the project’s alignment with the type of work we typically do at Plexus.

We are excited about your project and have chosen to sponsor your team.  Great work thus far!  Your award amount is $300.  In addition to the sponsorship, we want to offer you access to our lab facilities and engineering staff for technical support. As part of this sponsorship, we expect the following from your team:
An onsite presentation of your project proposal to a group of engineers and management at Plexus in Neenah, WI.  The target date is Friday, 12-Dec-2014. (Details will follow – Lunch and a gas card will be provided, and we will present you with your sponsorship award during this visit.)
Periodic (at least biweekly) status emails.
Copies of all reports and design documents developed as part of the curriculum.
Recognition of Plexus as a sponsor on all project deliverables, posters, and prototypes.  Plexus will provide a logo for you to use.

We encourage your team to contact us with any questions or requests you may have. We can offer guidance regarding hardware, software, and mechanical design and would be happy to offer technical reviews for your design.
