  1. [18:01] <KamenWriter> Alright. Elsa, Afternoon, day 8
  2. [18:03] * Elsa heads over towards the jail
  3. [18:03] <KamenWriter> Alright
  4. [18:04] <KamenWriter> Almost as soon as you enter the city hall's jail, you know something's wrong
  5. [18:04] <KamenWriter> You can hear yelling
  6. [18:04] <KamenWriter> "I don't care you little pink blob! We don't have any food here!"
  7. [18:04] <KamenWriter> <But I'm sooooo hungry right now.>
  8. [18:05] <KamenWriter> <You guys gotta have something. I can't take anymore of the humans stuff...>
  9. [18:05] <KamenWriter> It's clearly Terrakion doing most of the yelling.
  10. [18:06] <KamenWriter> "Get them to feed you! You're their pet now."
  11. [18:06] <KamenWriter> <But Karsten is buuuusssyyyyyyyyyyyy~.>
  12. [18:07] <KamenWriter> Once you enter the room, you can see Viri and Celebi are standing by trying not to laugh, while a very drowsy-looking Mew chews on the spike on Terrakion's helmet. Terrakion is trying desperately to get Mew off of his head.
  13. [18:08] <KamenWriter> "Ahhh! Get off of me!"
  14. [18:08] <KamenWriter> <Helmet spikes taste like metal things.>
  15. [18:08] <Elsa> <Erhrm, hate to interrupt.> She attempts to tk Mew away from Terrakion, <I can get you some spare jam if you wish.>
  16. [18:09] <KamenWriter> Mew doesn't resist as you TK him, but at the mention of jam, he perks up, <Jam? That berry stuff humans make out of berries using berries?>
  17. [18:09] <KamenWriter> <Ooooohhhh.>
  18. [18:09] <Elsa> <Yes.>
  19. [18:09] <KamenWriter> He then floats towards you, although his flightpath is a little odd.
  20. [18:10] <KamenWriter> He ends up drifting quite far from his intended target until Celebi floats beside him and corrects his path to you.
  21. [18:10] <KamenWriter> He bumps into you gently headfirst.
  22. [18:10] <KamenWriter> <I can't get to you. There's a wall here.> :(
  23. [18:12] <Elsa> <I see that you are slightly inebriated with something.>
  24. [18:12] * Elsa tks Mew so he stops flopping around in the air, <And that the three of you see that we have a new occupant.>
  25. [18:12] <KamenWriter> "You must have gotten ahold of some special mushrooms," says Viri, in-between giggles, "Mew is probably the biggest shroom-hound on the planet."
  26. [18:13] <KamenWriter> <Don't worry. They don't hurt him any.>
  27. [18:13] ?<--MARKER-->?
  28. [18:13] <KamenWriter> <He just gets... funny like this.> :3
  29. [18:13] <Elsa> <Yes, well, funny for some.>
  30. [18:14] <KamenWriter> "I demand a different cell!" cries Terrakion suddenly
  31. [18:14] <KamenWriter> "I can't stand it! Every day it gets worse. First it was the onion-head, then my no-good brother..."
  32. [18:14] * Elsa looks over to Terrakion nodding, <If you want to.>
  33. [18:14] <KamenWriter> "And now this? This is inhumane treatment." >:I
  34. [18:15] <KamenWriter> There are only two cells, next to eachother. Terrakion is in one, Viri is in the other.
  35. [18:16] <KamenWriter> They are large cells, but there is only bars between the two cells, so there's nothing keeping them apart.
  36. [18:16] <KamenWriter> except bars of course.
  37. [18:16] <KamenWriter> Point is there's not really another cell
  38. [18:18] * Elsa considers, <There isn't really another place here, but I could consider a compromise.>
  39. [18:19] <KamenWriter> :I "I'm listening."
  40. [18:19] <KamenWriter> Virizion: "Brother, REALLY! We're not that bad."
  41. [18:19] <KamenWriter> "You don't have to live with you every day. There's a reason I only visit sometimes." >:I
  42. [18:20] <Elsa> <If you were to swear to some agreement that you wouldn't try to harm our cause or support the remaining two generals. I imagine the others mostly wouldn't mind letting you have limited freedom.>
  43. [18:21] <KamenWriter> "Oaths are... a serious proposition for us."
  44. [18:21] <Elsa> <You have both shown honor in your fights, direct confrontations, or duels. I see no reason to doubt that you would go back on your word.>
  45. [18:22] <KamenWriter> Virizion sidles up to the bars, leaning against them jauntily, "Please, Brother. You're just no fun at all. Whenever Celebi visits you always get so dour."
  46. [18:23] <KamenWriter> "Because Celebi always talks about things that make no sense! and Shaymin keeps trying to cuddle up to my lap and leaves flowerpetals all over my clothes!"
  47. [18:23] <KamenWriter> "And you with your flamboyant posturing!"
  48. [18:23] <KamenWriter> "And the singing. At night. While I'm trying to sleep!"
  49. [18:24] <KamenWriter> "What do you even have to sing about?"
  50. [18:24] <KamenWriter> Virizion: "It's a nervous habit. You know that."
  51. [18:24] <KamenWriter> Terrakion: "Please! Spare me."
  52. [18:24] <Elsa> (Was the spare me, to me?)
  53. [18:25] <KamenWriter> Viri: "Must we do this in front of the human?"
  54. [18:25] <KamenWriter> (It was to Viri)
  55. [18:26] <KamenWriter> Terra: "I shudder to think of how it will be if they actually manage to haul in Keldeo and suddenly there's an impertinent child in here as well."
  56. [18:26] <Elsa> <If you want me to leave, I would leave you to it.>
  57. [18:26] <KamenWriter> "Oh no! What was that about an Oath?"
  58. [18:27] <KamenWriter> Terrakion seems to be listening, "I'll agree to it. This is driving me crazy."
  59. [18:28] <Elsa> <Alright, I'll try to make it as lenient as possible, but if I let you simply go free the others might have reason to doubt my intentions.>
  60. [18:28] <KamenWriter> "Name your terms and we shall see." >:I
  61. [18:29] <Elsa> <Free movement around the town, until nightfall where you bunker down with us. If another of the generals were to come into town, you would not aid them or leave with them. You are not to aid the raids coming into town, or hinder our efforts to survive. Lastly, no harm to any of us or our allies.>
  62. [18:30] <KamenWriter> "Hnnngggg."
  63. [18:31] <KamenWriter> "Fine!"
  64. [18:31] <KamenWriter> Virizion is shocked, "Brother! There's no reason for this."
  65. [18:32] <KamenWriter> "I hardly expect you to be the first to bend to their terms."
  66. [18:32] * Elsa opens the cell door and reaches out to shake
  67. [18:32] <KamenWriter> Terrakion: "Blame yourself before you blame me, and it's not like I have to HELP them. Simply not hinder them. It's not more or less than they already get from us."
  68. [18:32] <KamenWriter> He grasps your hand.
  69. [18:33] <Elsa> <I would not be against you helping us, but maybe that will come in time.>
  70. [18:33] * Elsa tries to firm handshake, but is babyweak
  71. [18:33] <KamenWriter> "I swear to it, human. But don't push it." >:I
  72. [18:34] <KamenWriter> Viri rolls his eyes, "I'm fine here, thanks. I'M surrounded by friends, unlike some people."
  73. [18:34] <KamenWriter> "Lonely mountain life is certainly not for me."
  74. [18:34] <KamenWriter> Terra: "It's quieter."
  75. [18:35] <KamenWriter> Celebi seems pleased with all of this
  76. [18:35] <KamenWriter> Mew appears to have fallen asleep in your arms.
  77. [18:35] <KamenWriter> Virizion, however, looks at you suspiciously, "So, for what reason have you come here, exactly, m'lady?"
  78. [18:36] <KamenWriter> "If it was the noise, you have perhaps solved that."
  79. [18:36] <Elsa> <I actually came here to tell you that mew was here, but as you are aware of, he has shown his presence.>
  80. [18:37] <Elsa> <Also to ask about your younger associate, Keldeo. He did nearly kill our obstinate pilot and lead us into a trap. Surprised me as I had expected him to be there himself, but I suppose each has their own methods.>
  81. [18:37] <KamenWriter> "Well, he's a sweetheart, so that's nice."
  82. [18:38] <KamenWriter> "Yes... Our little brother is... still learning our ways."
  83. [18:39] <KamenWriter> Terra: "After thousands of years, you would think he would have grown up a little." >:I
  84. [18:39] <KamenWriter> "I think he just refuses to learn!"
  85. [18:39] <KamenWriter> Viri: "And I think that protecting the sea simply has different rules from protecting the land."
  86. [18:40] <KamenWriter> "Just because we can all beat you in a fight doesn't mean you have to be snotty towards your dear brothers." ,':3
  87. [18:40] <KamenWriter> Terra: "YOU COME OVER HERE AND SAY THAT!"
  88. [18:41] <KamenWriter> He attempts to reach through the bars for Viri, but Viri steps JUST out of his range.
  89. [18:41] <KamenWriter> And laughs.
  90. [18:41] * Elsa telepaths only to Terrakion, <He's trying to get a rise out of you because he's upset he can't bother you anymore.>
  91. [18:42] <Elsa> <You were the larger threat to our party. Be the bigger man.>
  92. [18:42] <KamenWriter> >:I
  93. [18:42] <KamenWriter> He calms down after that
  94. [18:43] <KamenWriter> "So, what about little Keldeo?" says Viri, "I'd like to limit what I say until I know more about what you know."
  95. [18:45] <Elsa> <He left the pilot with the hives of parasitic beedrills, attempting to get us trapped by the swarms. I simply know facts from what Mew has said. A more chaotic general than I had expected to say the least.>
  96. [18:45] <KamenWriter> As you talk, Celebi has taken to watching over Mew. From his body language, you can tell that the two psychic type legendaries are fairly close friends.
  97. [18:46] <KamenWriter> "I suppose."
  98. [18:47] <Elsa> <I must ask your opinions on Cobalion though.>
  99. [18:47] <KamenWriter> "Oh?"
  100. [18:48] <KamenWriter> "What about our opinions?"
  101. [18:50] <Elsa> <Mew referred to him as your leader, I was simply wondering what logical reaction we should expect from him. So far we have not seen any sign of him, is he waiting for us to find him?>
  102. [18:51] <KamenWriter> "He's simply in no hurry to attack. He's letting us each go our own ways. He's biding his time, bolstering his defenses."
  103. [18:52] <KamenWriter> "If you can even get to him, it will certainly be a fight to remember. That's for sure."
  104. [18:54] <Elsa> <And we did hear that your champion is in fact a tad over our payroll.>
  105. [18:55] <Elsa> <Which makes me even more nervous about ours.>
  106. [18:55] <KamenWriter> "Good. Be nervous."
  107. [18:57] * Elsa chuckles, <Well at a certain point you do need to give us a glimmer of hope, to dash out when your leader stomps us into dust. Having both sides screw us just sort of means that we should halfheartedly shuffle around.>
  108. [18:58] <Elsa> <I still don't see exactly what our champion would extract from us if we were to win, as Mew inadvertantly said that Pokemon would not be killed off.>
  109. [18:58] <KamenWriter> "Did he, now? And did he say anything about how their lives might be?"
  110. [18:59] <Elsa> <Hrm, no.>
  111. [18:59] <KamenWriter> "In truth, I don't dare tell you anything beyond this, human, because I've seen what humans have done on the larger scale."
  112. [18:59] <KamenWriter> "And there's no promise that you won't agree with your Champion's goals."
  113. [19:00] <KamenWriter> "So, I would rather you languish in ignorance and self-doubt."
  114. [19:00] <Elsa> <I am not entirely heartless, as most would suspect. I do agree with some of your views. Just not the extinction bit.>
  115. [19:01] <KamenWriter> "Do you? Your fine army jacket. Do you know how it was made?"
  116. [19:03] <Elsa> <I do not.>
  117. [19:03] <KamenWriter> "Human farmers pen up herds of Mareep, who yearn for free roaming fields. Many times the mareep are given pens far too small, or are overfed to give them stronger growth. They are bred hard and quickly, incestuousely, to give them fluffier and fluffier coats.>
  118. [19:03] <KamenWriter> "
  119. [19:05] <KamenWriter> "And then those coats are shorn off before evolution, and the creature is then caught in a cycle of shearing, growth, shearing, growth, until the poor creature is either killed for its meat or added to the breeding stock.>
  120. [19:05] <KamenWriter> "
  121. [19:06] <KamenWriter> "And then the wool is spun into fabrics, by human workers- you didn't think pokemon were the only ones abused, did you? And the human workers ruin their eyesight in darkened factories, splitting their fingers on needles and looms for pittance."
  122. [19:07] <KamenWriter> "Until, one day, a woman with five children to feed and a husband dead in the war sews the buttons onto your beautiful army coat."
  123. [19:07] <KamenWriter> "And it is pressed and monogrammed, and delivered to you."
  124. [19:07] <KamenWriter> "Tell me, human, would you go without clothes for the rest of your days, knowing where they all came from?"
  125. [19:08] <KamenWriter> "Would you go without your eggs, or meat?"
  126. [19:08] <KamenWriter> "Or the other things you take for granted?"
  127. [19:09] * Elsa shakes her head, <I will not admit personal fault for the systems that are in place, there could certainly be better ones that do not exploit as much. That could be said for almost any aspect in life.>
  128. [19:10] <KamenWriter> "Will the better system see use? Depends on how you define better."
  129. [19:10] <KamenWriter> "For a human, the difference of a dollar determines what's right or wrong."
  130. [19:10] <KamenWriter> "Or the difference of a few minutes off of the assembly line."
  131. [19:11] <Elsa> <You generalize all humans and assume that they only wish to make profit, while you said earlier that humans were harmed as well in the process. Would they not wish it to be better both for the Pokemon and themselves?>
  132. [19:13] <KamenWriter> "For some, they will never change if the exploitation puts food on their tables. For others, perhaps the misery is so great that it would be better had they never been born."
  133. [19:13] <KamenWriter> "The better way for both of them is nonexistence."
  134. [19:13] <KamenWriter> "But that is my opinion."
  135. [19:13] <KamenWriter> "The important one here is yours, since I'm in your prison."
  136. [19:15] * Elsa pauses, taking the items out of her jacket and lights fires in one of her hands, gripping her knife and cutting the jacket off and incinerating it
  137. [19:16] <KamenWriter> "Ah. So now, I wonder how far you'll go."
  138. [19:16] <Elsa> <My opinion is that anything that would harm the Pokemon close to me would be burned away. The mareep are in a state that I can't do anything about, a better state would be preferable, but I doubt that alone a woman could do anything.>
  139. [19:17] <KamenWriter> "Shall I tell you about what happens to Cottonee for your undergarments? Perhaps I can get you down to your skivvies. Or beyond." ,':3
  140. [19:18] <Elsa> <If I were to go any further, it would affect the responses of the others, so no, despite what fact I would like to prove to you. I won't strip down.>
  141. [19:18] <KamenWriter> "Only when it's convenient, then."
  142. [19:18] <Elsa> <Although I didn't know that you were so interested in human woman, first Cait, now me?>
  143. [19:19] <KamenWriter> "Aesthetic pleasure doesn't have to rely on like or dislike."
  144. [19:19] <Elsa> <When lack of respect or trust here could mean death, yes.>
  145. [19:19] <KamenWriter> "Be that way. I'll be here, enjoying the view."
  146. [19:20] * Elsa has on an undershirt I would assume
  147. [19:20] <KamenWriter> Yes
  148. [19:20] <KamenWriter> Probably a rather masculine one
  149. [19:20] <KamenWriter> If it came with the uniform
  150. [19:20] <Elsa> (yeah)
  151. [19:22] <Elsa> <I suppose that is your prerogative.>
  152. [19:22] <Elsa> <Anything else before we go?>
  153. [19:22] <KamenWriter> "I think I've made my point."
  154. [19:22] <KamenWriter> "Unless you have more questions."
  155. [19:22] <KamenWriter> Celebi looks saddened by this whole conversation. :(
  156. [19:22] <Elsa> <I believe that I'm alright.>
  157. [19:22] <KamenWriter> Terrakion is simply impatient. You get the feeling he's heard all of this before.
  158. [19:23] * Elsa heads out with Mew and Terrakion
  159. [19:23] <KamenWriter> Mew, Terrakion, and Celebi (taking care of Mew) go with you, leaving Viri behind.
  160. [19:24] <Elsa> <And Sir Terrakion, as I said before you are free to go about your business anywhere in town. Just a suggestion, I would wait until I inform the others so no misunderstandings arise.>
  161. [19:24] <KamenWriter> "Fair enough."
  162. [19:24] <Elsa> <Do you wish to go with me as I explain where everything is?>
  163. [19:24] <KamenWriter> "Might as well."
  164. [19:25] <KamenWriter> Celebi, however, is testing your mind a little. He wants to know how you feel about all the Viri said, <Are you okay?> This is private between you two.
  165. [19:26] * Elsa slowly walks around town, <I admit to not have seen as much of the factory process as he stated. I am not surprised by certain aspects.>
  166. [19:26] <KamenWriter> <It's not really as cut and dry as he says! I'm sure of it. For every bad situation, there's also greatness that humans and pokemon can accomplish together without exploitation.> D:
  167. [19:28] <Elsa> <I grew up in a farm environment where that would be considered wasteful. There are also downsides to that though, starving if the harvest was not full enough. Death from sickness because there is not a doctor or healing Pokemon.>
  168. [19:28] <KamenWriter> <I've seen the future. There are horrors and there are wonders, but... there's a balance between them. Horrors can lead to wonderful things, and even the greatest of intentions can lead to horrific outcomes.>
  169. [19:28] <KamenWriter> <I can't disagree completely with what he said, but he's only half right.>
  170. [19:29] * Elsa casually burns the long sleeves of her undershirt up to her upper arms, <I will accept that as you say.>
  171. [19:30] * Elsa tests creating fire, saying to both of them, <I must admit, it must be much easier for fire types to not worry about setting themselves ablaze.>
  172. [19:30] <KamenWriter> "Few fire types live around flammable things, unless they eat them."
  173. [19:31] * Elsa motions to Wyrda, <Besides those domesticated. We did have a few problems with fires around the house when Wyrda was young.>
  174. [19:32] <KamenWriter> "Hrmm..."
  175. [19:32] * Elsa wonders where that rhyhorn ever went that was with Terrakion
  176. [19:32] <KamenWriter> Oh he's following along
  177. [19:32] <KamenWriter> He's just mellow
  178. [19:33] <Elsa> <I must mention, there are a few groups of poison types in the bakery and the butcher.>
  179. [19:33] <KamenWriter> However, there does seem to be something on Terrakion's mind.
  180. [19:33] <KamenWriter> "Fine."
  181. [19:33] <Elsa> <Did you have anything you wanted to speak of?>
  182. [19:33] <KamenWriter> "I'll try not to disturb them."
  183. [19:33] <KamenWriter> His eyebrow twitches, "Hrrrmmmmmm."
  184. [19:35] <KamenWriter> "Despite everything, you've been... not kind or anything but... at least amiable towards me."
  185. [19:35] <KamenWriter> "You've shown me the respect I deserve, and perhaps I haven't shown you the kind of respect that's been due to you." >:I
  186. [19:36] <KamenWriter> "There's a certain kind of trust between enemies that one can foster. It's the trust upon which honor flourishes."
  187. [19:36] <KamenWriter> "It's the reason you allowed me out, and the reason I won't betray your terms."
  188. [19:37] <Elsa> <I thank you for that, I know that it isn't easy to simply let me be. You already granted us a favor before. There is no reason I can't show you respect now.>
  189. [19:38] <Elsa> <Do not think of this as repaying a debt though, you did still attempt to kill us later.> She smiles
  190. [19:38] <KamenWriter> "Right, right."
  191. [19:39] <KamenWriter> "So I'll say this much..."
  192. [19:39] <KamenWriter> "Assuming you don't agree with a world where humans run wild, you might be able to reject your champion's way."
  193. [19:40] <KamenWriter> "Then again, it might be impossible."
  194. [19:40] <KamenWriter> "That's all."
  195. [19:40] * Elsa gives a small bow, <I appreciate that, it does give me heart in the fact that we are not doomed in either case.>
  196. [19:41] <Elsa> <I will keep this between us.>
  197. [19:41] <KamenWriter> "Good."
  198. [19:41] <KamenWriter> "I'm supposed to be the tough one." >:(
  199. [19:41] <KamenWriter> "And here I am being all sloppy and sentimental."
  200. [19:41] <KamenWriter> "GOODBYE."
  201. [19:41] <KamenWriter> He turns and stomps away.
  202. [19:42] <Elsa> <See you tonight.> She waves
  203. [19:43] <KamenWriter> And by then, it's nearly time for the evening.
  204. [19:43] * Elsa turns to Celebi, <I hope that you will keep your discretion on that as well.>
  205. [19:43] <KamenWriter> <Oh, yeah. No spoilers!>
  206. [19:43] * Elsa goes to get jam for Mew/hand the legendary off to his trainer
  207. [19:43] <KamenWriter> <I'm great at keeping secrets.> :D
  208. [19:44] <KamenWriter> tiny thumbs up
  209. [19:44] <KamenWriter> By then, Mew is waking up from his stupor.
  210. [19:44] <KamenWriter> So the two of them go off somewhere to hang out.
  211. [19:44] <KamenWriter> Until Karsten needs Mew, naturally
  212. [19:46] <Kain> Karsten isn't a jealous person~
  213. [19:47] <KamenWriter> Is that /mini?
  214. [19:47] <Elsa> yeo
  215. [19:47] * Elsa is now known as Happymancer
