  1. >Pull Tab brushed her light grey mane while you pouted about on the couch.
  2. >You had been this way for an entire week after the competition.
  3. "Fifteen bits… FIFTEEN FUCKING BITS!”
  4. >Needless to say you it didn’t turn out as you had hoped.
  5. >“Moony, it’s been a week. You need to get over it. She won fair and square.”
  6. >You couldn’t, today was the day that Anon and Cascade were supposed to go on their “date”.
  7. >Looking over at Pull Tab, she had already finished brushing her mane and started on her tail.
  8. “I know… I just don’t like the idea of Anon and her together. She might try something, and you know how he hates stuff like that!”
  9. >Pull Tab rolled her eyes.
  10. >“It’s not like he’s going to do her. He’s not really into the whole one night stand kind of thing.”
  11. >Sighing and getting up, you trotted to the kitchen and grabbed out a bottle of cranberry juice.
  12. >Pouring a glass, you listened to Tabby as she talked.
  13. >“It’s doubtful that Anon would ever fall for her. As a matter of fact I think Anon suffers from…”
  14. >Oh great, now she started rambling on about psychology stuff.
  15. >You hated it when she did this, and let her psychobabble words go in one ear and out the other while you drank.
  16. “Uh huh.”
  17. >Mmm…that is good juice.
  18. >“…then you and Anon could be rutting like rabbits on hearts and hooves day!”
  19. >You spat out your drink, in a comical fashion.
  20. “W-what!?”
  21. >Your face turned a hundred shades of red.
  22. >Popping your head into the living room, you saw Pull Tab’s smirk,
  23. >“You’re too easy, Moony.”
  24. “T-that’s not f-funny!”
  25. >She began to laugh.
  26. >“I think it is!”
  27. >Immediately, you regained your pouty mood.
  28. >“Oh lighten up, Moony.”
  29. >Picking up your glass, and taking the rest of what was left in it to the couch, you took small sips while Pull Tab began to talk.
  30. >“Look, I’m sure he’s fine, but you’re not. You need to get out, and get some fresh air.”
  31. >“Come on, I’ll pay for dinner.”
  32. 1/6
  33.
  34. >You rolled your eyes. Why did you always have to be drug out when all you wanted to do was sulk?
  35. “Fine, let me put on a scarf. It’s kinda chilly.”
  36. >Opening your closet you dug through your collection of scarves until you found one that matched.
  37. >Grey with blue squares every couple inches, it matched your hair and mood perfectly.
  38. >You looped it around your neck, and walked out to Tabby, who already had her bags ready.
  39. >Throwing your bags on, you and her flew into town.
  40. “Where are we going?”
  41. >“A nice little restaurant opened up, and I thought we’d try it out.”
  42. >Oh Celestia’s grace, you hoped it was better than the last time you both tried out a restaurant.
  43. >You explicitly remember the hour and a half it took for them to get your food, and the debilitating food poisoning afterwards.
  44. >Shuttering, you remembered that she promised to never take you somewhere like that again. You threw a raised brow at her,
  45. >“I hope it’s better than the last one we ‘tried’ out.”
  46. >“One of the girls from work raved about this place the other night while you were on stage.”
  47. >You two flew to a small restaurant that specialized in pasta.
  48. >Walking in, you two picked out a nice spot by the window and sat down and talked while you waited for a waiter.
  49. >“I just don’t think you should like Anon so much. I mean, you two have known each other what, like 3 weeks?”
  50. >You rolled your eyes at her.
  51. “I just said that I liked him. I’m not head over heels for him.”
  52. >You’re a liar, you totally are, but she couldn’t find that out.
  53. >Pull Tab raised an unsure brow at you,
  54. >“Okay, it’s I just worry about you sometimes. You’re not known-”
  55. 2/6
  56.
  57. >A waiter suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and got both of your drink orders and left menus.
  58. >You browsed through the menus and picked out an appetizer of mozzarella cheese sticks and a plate of spaghetti.
  59. >Pull Tab picked a nice lasagna and garlic bread combo.
  60. >“Well, as I was saying before. You’re not the best at picking stallions... Do you remember highschool?”
  61. >High school was years ago, and you were not the best at remembering things.
  62. “No, not really.”
  63. >“Let me refresh your memory then. Remember Silver Screen? You two met in drama club, and you wanted to marry him the second week after you two were dating. Then he dumped you and went after somepony else?”
  64. “Nope, not ringing a bell.”
  65. >You lied, that break up devastated you for weeks.
  66. >“How about Chivalry? He told you that he loved you in the first week… broke up and you were even more devastated.
  67. >You remember the sting in your heart after that happened.
  68. >“Comet…”
  69. >No, please don’t remind you of him.
  70. “Alright, you’ve made your point.”
  71. >“…You two were engaged to be married, but he slept around behind your back so the wedding was called off.”
  72. >You didn’t feel all that hungry anymore.
  73. >Standing up rapidly, you began to trot toward the door.
  74. >“Moonlight, wait!”
  75. >Why? So she could criticize your poor choices more? No, you were done with dinner and that conversation.
  76. >Out in the street, you flapped your wings and flew into the sky toward home.
  77. 3/6
  78.
  79. >Back in your own home, you looked through your old scrapbook.
  80. >Pictures of you and friends, past lovers in neat places, hanging out, and being happy...
  81. >It made you feel… sad.
  82. >Like the best times of your life were gone and done, and now all you had were pictures reminding you of it.
  83. >You laid in your bed just looking through those pictures for what seemed like hours until somep0ny knocked on your front door.
  84. >Getting out of bed you walked slowly to the door and peaked outside.
  85. >It was no surprise as to who it was.
  86. >Opening the door, you sighed.
  87. “What do you want, Pull Tab?”
  88. >“Can I come in?”
  89. >You really consider saying no, but damn your kindness.
  90. “Yeah.”
  91. >She walked in, and you closed the door behind her.
  92. >“I just wanted to apologize. I should have just kept out of it.”
  93. >Walking past her and sitting down on the couch, you looked at the Moon in the shape of a heart on your flank.
  94. “I got my cutie mark after kissing Comet when he proposed. I thought that was supposed to be my destiny, our destiny together…”
  95. >“I know, Moonlight. But maybe you’re thinking Anon would be different…”
  96. >She walked over and sat down beside you and hugged you tight.
  97. >“…I don’t think he’ll be ready for a committed relationship anytime soon.”
  98. >Breaking from the hug, you only had one question.
  99. “Why?”
  100. >She bit her lip.
  101. “Anon has got issues and baggage that I believe are more serious than they appear. I think he’s hiding something.”
  102. >Anon was hiding something? You furrowed your brows at her, confused, listening to what she had to say.
  103. >“Anon mentioned when I first talked to him that he had a stalker, you’ve told me about his constant and repetitive nightmares, and how he is hesitant to talk about his past. I think Anon is hurting deep down inside and the reason why he left the town is the same-”
  104. 4/6
  105.
  106. >You are Anon.
  107. >You’re on a forced date you don’t want to be on.
  108. >Damn bat p0nies and their archaic laws…
  109. >Cascade Falls is a nice mare, but it’s obvious she only wants one thing from you.
  110. >She rubs a hoof along your leg underneath the table with a seductive smile.
  111. >“We could always skip dinner and head back to my place.”
  112. >You wish Moonlight won.
  113. >Smiling, at least you’re getting some entertainment by stalling and playing dumb.
  114. “No thanks, I’m going to get some ice cream. Would you like some too?”
  115. >Huffing, she sat back in her chair and crossed her arms.
  116. >“No.”
  117. “Suit yourself.”
  118. >You ordered and ate an entire bowl of ice cream while she watched.
  119. >It was glorious.
  120. >Her unenthused stare gave you instant satisfaction.
  121. >Unfortunately, the ice cream was all gone and it was getting late.
  122. “I sure am full. You said you had more dessert or something at your place?”
  123. >Her ears perked, and she smiled while nodding her head.
  124. >You hated leading her on like that, but you had to make sure she’d never find you attractive again.
  125. >Walking to her house, she told you many things about her sex life to which you just shrugged off, and tried your hardest to seem uninterested as possible.
  126. >Her house was very nice, much nicer than Moonlight and yours.
  127. >The furnishings looked very gothic in your opinion.
  128. >You were starting to feel bad when she sat you down on the couch, and even fixed you a bowl of ice cream.
  129. >“I’ll be back in just a second.”
  130. >Oh great, here came the hardest part of the whole thing, rejecting her.
  131. >Sighing, you ate the ice cream wondering what Moonlight and Pull Tab were up to.
  132. >“Oh Anon…”
  133. >Turning, you saw Cascade presenting herself to you with a peculiar object strapped to her groin.
  134. >“…I’m all yours.”
  135. “Uh, what’s that?”
  136. >She seemed surprised at your question and turned around where you got a full glimpse of it.
  137. >It was a huge strap on that had to be almost 3 feet long with girth as thick as your forearm.
  138. 5/6
  139.
  140. “What is that for?”
  141. >She tilted her head slightly with a smile.
  142. >“I heard that Minotaur’s usually can’t finish without a little…”
  143. >Your eye began to twitch, and a bead of sweat trickled down your collar.
  144. >“…Prostate stimulation.”
  145. >Nope.
  146. >Nope Nope Nope Nope Nope Nope Nope Nope.
  147. >Your prostate was NOT going to be stimulated.
  148. >Getting up without a word you placed the ice cream bowl down, and walked out the door.
  149. >You were prepared to stall, annoy, or even just talk to her, but you were not prepared for that.
  150. >Walking in the freezing cold, you began to shiver.
  151. >By the time you had gotten home you felt like you’d been outside for hours.
  152. >You really should have taken a jacket.
  153. >Opening the door quickly, you found Moonlight and Pull Tab talking, but abruptly stopped when you came in.
  154. “H-hey Anon, how was your-”
  155. >Oh god, you’ll never hear the end of it.
  156. "Good! I mean bad! I mean… bah, forget it.”
  157. >Okay, that could have gone much smoother.
  158. >“Hey Anon, if you’re not too full do you want to join Tabby and me at this new place? You can tell us all about it while we eat.”
  159. >You smiled, why not, they'd find out eventually. You were sure they’d get a kick out of it.
