Log Horizon Book 6 Afterword

Greetings after a year and a half, I am Mamare Touno.

Wah, sorry to have dragged so long, I think I am beginning a lost sheep. The one who is lost is not Akatsuki, but the author. By common logic, I should be committing Sepukku. To all my esteemed readers, I am very sorry, Mamare hopes to recover my pace from now on.

I am grateful to everyone for buying 'Log Horizon 6 Lost child of daybreak'. Although it is cold nowadays, but when the book reaches your hand, the weather should be turning warm. So many things have happened. Like the animation of Maou Yuusha, and the many radio shows. Mamare got to know a lot of people! I am grateful.

Since Log Horizon is moving to the 2nd part, as promised, the heroine of the afterwords will change from Mamare (younger sister) to my editor F-ta chan.

In the end, the reason in the change of heroine is because of the popularity poll in Log Horizon 4. The result is Mamare (younger sister) ranked 22nd, while editor F-ta chan ranked 15th. Even though ranking 15th is not very strong if you think about 'Yuru popularity contest".

Nope, if you consider in terms of 'Touhou popularity contest', it is a great result. Compared to my sister's 22nd, it is a wide gap.

Mamare decides to jump on the bandwagon, changing the heroine and strife for victory. Not because of the psychological attack Mamare is suffering from as a result of teasing Mamare (younger sister) too much. Although it is not so, but it is important to avoid risk as an adult. Mamare just want to make it clear.

I brought F-ta chan up, but the readers might not get who she is. She is the editor in charge of Log Horizon. A competent female editor with glasses, but is very petite, like a polyester bottle, her race is mini fairy. Carnivore. She will sit in a seiza position during meetings. But she will jump up if she gets excited,  a cute and competent editor, but is a carnivore.

It is not a metaphor, she is really a carnivore.

We went to have our meal at a chain restaurant after out meeting, Mamare who knew the editor likes to eat meat says casually "Is it the hamburger steak promotion period right now?". But she lectured me "Minced meat are not meat! Roar!" According to F-ta chan, all females like to eat meat. Now that she mentioned it, Mamare (younger sister) is the same.

One day, I have this conversation with F-ta chan.

"Someone wants to animate Log Horizon"

"Oh?"

"It's NHK."

"That sounds so unreal."

"Isn't it? I think so too. No way they will animate it."

"Let's ignore that and work on something else."

"That's right, don't bother with this, want to eat some meat?"

And just like this, the news we ignored is fixed half a year later. We hang it out to dry and its now ready. Log Horizon will be animated and premiere in autumn of 2013. Although that's half a year later, but production has already started. News should already be out when this book is published right? Because it is screened nation wide, please take a look if it is convenient. Of possible, invite your siblings and family to watch together, Mamare will be happy. There will be all sorts of project coming up as well.

The Log Horizon publishing team has already started drinking in the pub. To be honest, Everyone still can't believe that it has been successfully animated, so we will hold a meat feast after confirmation.

In the world of soap opera, you will hear the lines 'I will be happy if I can be with you' very often. But Mamare thinks that it is hard to come true in the real world. If you want to interact with anyone, you will have to interact with the things the person is involved with right? Such as family, comrades and friends. It feels like you have to interact with all these to truly be interacting with that person.

Akatsuki who only wanted to maintain her relationship with Shiroe so far is probably at her limit? In this situation, she has to face the people around her. That is the story in this volume. This is the girl's side story. Some bonds need hard work to connect, that is the contents of this book. Girls seems to love eating meat.

The equipment of each character featured at the beginning of each chapter, is also the results of fan submission during February of 2013.
