Background: Raina was the second daughter of the Choi family and as she was born a lot later than her older brother and sister they doted a lot on her being very protective. From when she was young she was quite interested in music and her brother was partly a reason for this as she saw him as her big example. When she was 10 her parents suddenly decided they wanted to send her overseas to study and Raina only agreed if they let her follow rap classes too. In the beginning Seunghyun and her sister didn't want to let her go but after persuasion from her side they agreed. While studiying in the states at the age of 14 she was scouted on the streets by a SM scout when she was doing a rap battle. At first Seunghyun was reluctant in letting her become a trainee as he knew how harsh it could be but he also knew her passion so he let her join in the end. Thus she moved back to South-Korea 4 years later
