  1. Our position is that vilden should be kept banned.
  2.
  3. 1.) vilden received four hateful comments and I believe what would constitute four harassment violations (the bypassing account he used to continue harassing jeff wasn't penalized for harassment) not only does 4 of either equal a site ban, but this is 8 violations overall meaning he should be lobby banned until all violations expire.
  4.
  5. 2.) The hateful comments were seriously debilitating remarks about Jeff's sexuality and repulsive to witness. He was repeatedly warned by Edark yet failed to comply. Either you argue that Jeff should "toughen up" therefore invalidating his feelings (which you cannot do as you are simply not in his shoes) or you claim they weren't severe enough to be hateful (cannot be argued as the rule clearly states "Any form of severe or excessive hate speech or hateful language based on sexual orientation")
  6.
  7. 3.) vilden has said himself that he intends on staying off this website yet reappeared recently on a bypassing account which he harassed jeff on once again. Clearly he is in no way mature or capable enough to enjoy this website without personally harassing other users and those are not the sort of people you want on here. A possible rebuttal to this is that there are people who have repeatedly broken rules such as cheating (for example myself) yet were unbanned early. I would say it's true I was given very lenient treatment but I never personally insulted others or affected the game's integrity in a significant way.

  9. Not only would unbanning vilden be a personal insult to Jeff but also to the general community as you are saying it's OK to make these sorts of remarks just as long as you're a known figure in the community. It's true that others have been unbanned early for hateful comments - for example ian - but these were widely disparate situations and cannot be compared. Ultimately, however, I think if the decision to unban vilden would fall onto one person to decide it would be Jeff as he was the main recipient for vilden's foul remarks.
