  1. Back when i first ran Pokemon Yellow & got WR tie time 1:59 with Werster, I didnt have the intention to break the tie. Perhaps you wonder why I didnt intend to break the tie when it was just a matter of time before getting a better time. My intention overall to ran such game was just to start on a community i can get along with, that I can be just as equal or as good just like my fellow streamers werster, 5upamayne, Darkceo, Extratricky etc. At no point did I feel better than them, or make them feel worse, & if I made them feel that way then apologies but they misintepret my intention. Anyway, my point is; speedrunning for me was just a way of enjoying times with other fellow streamers & relate with them, towards the direction of making the game better with our ways of running it. I have no desire to make it seem im the best & put myself on leaderboards & let such pathetic point of view known for how I have spend my time.

  3. Nowadays, I see more of those pathetic views across mainly Gen1-3, trying to change the system cause you think is not accurate/broken/call it u want. Not being able to be sole #1 on a leaderboard makes you feel like the system needs to change? How pathetic can you get with such mentality? Last time I checked, there are ties everywhere, whatever we do, why are people not satisfied with that? Isnt a tie good enough to make everyone feel good about what they have accomplished? Let me guess, is not right, is not enough, you dont agree, things have to change, it doesnt work that way, face the reality here just cause it doesnt work for you it doesnt mean is not working for everybody else you selfish/greedy one.

  5. Last time I checked IGT over 3 years of me running pokemon I havent had a problem dealing with the system as well as others not having a problem with it. The problem I see now to change IGT is for those that dont want to see ties in the leaderboards & think that RTA will solve whos #1. For those that think thats not the only reason is being changed, what a load of shit & shame to make people being influence that there are other reasons that make it easier/beneficial for others. Changing to RTA doesnt make it easier/beneficial as a whole. ‘Human error’ is the two words that RTA more redundant. For example, I accidentally hit the reset instead of splitting, or for some reason the time doesnt work while on a good run. Im gonna be doing extra work & will have go back to the vod just to calculate it. Does that make it easier for me? Ok now, perhaps it doesnt happen often so is no biggy but in the back of my head im gonna be thinking what if it does? Such an incident would be a coincidence, yes. However, IGT will never face this issue, it cannot. Overall I dont want to deal with that shit. IGT can do all the work for me and ultimately make it easier. Another way is say if I do have to follow RTA, I'll just let the moderators give a damn about it & time it for me, now does that make it easier for you, obviously not, not to mention why should you deal with that shit? Then why change the system to make it harder for anyone then? My other option is not give one damn, just do it however the i want, not caring of the systems & selfish/greedy one like that want to be solely #1 on that leaderboard.

  7. Im mentioning only 1-2 main points just so I dont make this as long as it already is. As far as S+Q goes, let's face the reality here, People/viewers only care about who has the tops times, you obviously think that S+Q in the end when the runs are very optimized is going to end up as a top time? In reality you guys don’t care about the beginners when the leaderboard is your priority. Nobody that has a good run in the leaderboards will be a run that is S+Q. In other words, a beginner’s run using S+Q will not be as good as a veteran runner who does not use S+Q. S+Q will be used to improve yourself, and once they feel ready the need to S+Q will be dropped. Just cause there's a leaderboard doesn't mean you are force to put yourself in it, do it for yourself for the enjoyment of the game & your audience to have a good time with them. As far as accuracy goes, IGT time is not accurate you say? According to what? Last time I checked you guys run the same game, on the same console that should give you the same results as other runners. Isn't that accurate? So you mean to tell me you are running Pokemon Yellow on Stadium w/transfer pack that has turbo ability function? Mindblown, Well we all know whos gonna benefit from that if we change to RTA. I dont know about other consoles that has similar functions but Im sure there are, & people will probably get away with it. Does this make it easier for anyone? Well moderators are going to be doing more work now then, be ready to catch those runners. Also runners, make sure you pick the console that runs the fastest among them so you can benefit & be #1 on that leaderboard.

  9. Just 'cause IGT has flaws, doesn't mean RTA doesn't. This does not mean our only option to solve IGT is to change to RTA. One solution for you greedy ones to be solely #1 on the leaderboard while still running IGT mode is whoever got the 1st best time is #1, whoever got the same time 2nd is 2nd, etc. Now what about the person that got better time in RTA? That wouldnt be fair for those runners you say, well just like Keizaron had the idea of the comments part, then why can we put RTA time on the side of comments if you really care to have people notice who's really #1 in leaderboards? For those of you that dont have a clue on how to get best time, is not a hard breaking formula only smart people can solve. Simply put, years of your life on that one game, eventually you'll get a decent if not best times & of course who can forget luck. The question is, are you up for your life/time to be wasted that way? A lot of people give up easily on that & those that stay, see the results. Now how the issue where there are too many people on the leaderboards. How to we get rid of those? Really? Isnt it obvious? Just get rid of the lowest time up to whatever the you feel is enough to not be too many. After all we all know only top times people give a care about. Wait you didnt know that?
  10.
  11. It is true that I have top times on leaderboards on some games that I've run but I know why I got them. I put a lot time/work/effort/luck to get them. If someone else comes & ties it up, Im fine with that, I can share that success with others, I welcome them, but if someone comes & has that selfish/greedy mentality that is better than me or another person on the games in which I do runs, YOU ARE NOT WELCOME, & I don't pretend I'm a friend to you. Now if we change to RTA just for the benefit of those greedy ones then I dont want to be part of it. IGT for me hasnt been giving me a problem & RTA in Gen 6 is not a big deal, but it will be if I must keep track of splitting or hoping that my timer doesnt mess up for whatever reason. In that case, if it gives me a problem, then Im gonna make it your problem to accomodate the times for me since you thought it was a good idea in the first place to change to RTA. If you think you are not going to do the changes ACCURATELY/PRECISELY, then I dont want to be part of such a greedy community. Simply put it, take me out of those leaderboards that Im in. After all, Im doing my runs to share my happiness with others, & not be a selfish/greedy, celebrating being the #1 spot on the leaderboards.
