Jesus had one purpose of being born unto us—to reedeem us from sins. Wages of sin is death. Anyone who believes in Christ has life, apart from Him, there is no life. In fact Jesus is the creator of life and w/o Him, we are blindly walking in the dark. It's only through Christ, we have freedom, peace, joy, rest, and a hope. To be physically free is great and wonderful, but I believe a man can be physically free yet is still lost if they are not spiritually free. That is if their sins have not been forgiven. For those that had their sins pardoned—God no longer remember their sins; meaning God no longer judge them but freely give them eternal life because they ask for God's forgiveness and believe that Jesus died for them. I posted this because it was freedom advocate day, but I see so many who are spiritually enslaved by sins, by their past, by the power of the dark principalities (the devil), and by their own lust. The only one that can set you free is the man who gave up His life for us on the cross. He is not just any ordinary man but in fact He is God in man nature and He has a name, His name Jesus Christ, Son of the living God.
