- Gran Turismo differences between full game and demo:
- ----------------------------------------------------
- TO DO:
- * there is another demo of Gran Turismo, that lets you play Clubman Route 5 but its a timed demo - I've played the PAL demo of that - compare with full game
- ## SCUS-94194 [NTSC (U)] and the Pizza Hutt demo ##
- General differences:
- * no music during racing
- * no fanfare for finishing a race
- * no intro cutscene
- * no warning about proper driving
- Title screen:
- * no Simulation Mode
- * Replay Theater has no music
- * can't load replay, edit replay title, or delete reply
- * only 6 demonstrations, all different than the retail demos
- * options menu has no music
- * can't adjust 2 player battle options in Configuration 1
- * no analog setting for 2P
- Arcade Mode:
- * can only select Single Race
- * has an 'Available Cars' option that lets you play the only cars you can in the demo; the retail lacks this option
- * the only cars available are the Acura NSX, and the Chevrolet Corvette '96
- * the demo lists all the manufacturers; the retail only lists the first 6 (you must unlock the rest)
- * the Acura NSX has its headlights up; in the retail they are down
- * the Acura NSX's backlights are brighter
- * the Chevrolet Corvette's has its headlights up; in the retail they are down
- * the Chevrolet Corvette's backlights are brighter
- * the course selection lacks the animated preview; it is monochrome and static
- * the first 8 courses are able to be selected, but you can only play the 1st one (High Speed Ring); in the retail version you can only select the first 4 courses (must unlock the rest)
- * the demo calls the Acura NSX the 'NSX TypeSzero'; in the retail its the 'NSX TypeS'
- * same lineup every time?
