  5. * there is another demo of Gran Turismo, that lets you play Clubman Route 5 but its a timed demo - I've played the PAL demo of that - compare with full game

  10. * no music during racing
  11. * no fanfare for finishing a race
  12.  
  13. * no intro cutscene
  14. * no warning about proper driving

  16. Title screen:
  17. * no Simulation Mode
  18. * Replay Theater has no music
  19. * can't load replay, edit replay title, or delete reply
  20. * only 6 demonstrations, all different than the retail demos
  21. * options menu has no music
  22. * can't adjust 2 player battle options in Configuration 1
  23. * no analog setting for 2P

  25. Arcade Mode:
  26. * can only select Single Race
  27. * has an 'Available Cars' option that lets you play the only cars you can in the demo; the retail lacks this option
  28. * the only cars available are the Acura NSX, and the Chevrolet Corvette '96
  29. * the demo lists all the manufacturers; the retail only lists the first 6 (you must unlock the rest)
  30. * the Acura NSX has its headlights up; in the retail they are down
  31. * the Acura NSX's backlights are brighter
  32. * the Chevrolet Corvette's has its headlights up; in the retail they are down
  33. * the Chevrolet Corvette's backlights are brighter
  34. * the course selection lacks the animated preview; it is monochrome and static
  35. * the first 8 courses are able to be selected, but you can only play the 1st one (High Speed Ring); in the retail version you can only select the first 4 courses (must unlock the rest)
  36. * the demo calls the Acura NSX the 'NSX TypeSzero'; in the retail its the 'NSX TypeS'
  37. * same lineup every time?
