  1. Chuuni - gg - 04
  2. ===================
  3. *0:57 - Interpretation - "Slow on the uptake" - this line means not taking a hint, not actually being unintelligent.
  4. 1:30 - Guessing -> background conversation error, a bit hard to hear.
  5. 4:15 - Simplification -> Left out "in exchange" for sacrifice, which I feel should be included to enhance their ruthlessness, but ultimately doesn't change meaning.
  6. (*)4:29 - Simplification -> Forgot "bone". Does not alter meaning, but it's part of the convo.
  7. (*)5:04 - Simplification - "Let the fools who stand in our way to be destroyed!" -> Does not match script due to leaving out a keyword. The keyword here is "equal amount" of destruction. Would've been great if it was "let all the fools..."
  8. 7:36 - Guessing -> "is nowhere to be seen" in context instead of "7-colored manuscript". This is really hard to hear.
  9. 11:29 - Interpretation - "My heart can't take any longer." -> This line is "silence is too awkward", but that line sort of fits as well.
  10. *11:45+17:45 - Interpretation -> "Why won't those memories die?" -> "Memories" added here for no reason. She was wants her old self to die.
  11. 13:58 - Style - "Mark II" -> I am disappoint this isn't abbreviated as "Mk-II"
  12. *14:26 - Context - "I'll chop you into tiny pieces." -> This line is "I'll curse you to death". Really bad liberal TL here to make it sound less awkward because this line foreshadows her 8th grader syndrome.
  13. **14:35 - Interpretation (repeated) -> 「中坊」 translated as "trolls". Old "yankee" delinquent slang, degrading way of saying "kid".
  14. *21:18 - Fabrication - "magic pillow of friendship" -> "Member #5's pillow".
  15.
  16. Chuuni - URW - 04
  17. ===================
  18. *0:17 - Interpretation - "group with no clear goals" -> 「訳のわからない」 is usually just "absurd" in general. Slight over-interpretation here IMO.
  19. *0:46 - Simplification - "You seemed pretty excited about joining" -> was talking about napping, not joining the club itself in this particular line.
  20. 5:35 - Guessing -> a bit hard to hear, simplified to "that stuff" instead of "sundew".
  21. **8:46 - Mistranslation - "plain bad end" -> 「通常」 translated as "plain" instead of "this is usually".
  22. 9:14 - Interpretation - "What's wrong with me looking at stuff like this?!" -> Main point here is "the person at fault here isn't me, it's you", but the line sort of works better with the following lines in the same scene.
  23. 13:58 - Style - "Mark II" -> I am disappoint this isn't abbreviated as "Mk-II"
  24. *20:38 - Context - "Her sadness, her emptiness" -> This is arguable, but she's most likely to be still talking in first-person.

  27. gg - 5 minors 1 major
  28. URW - 3 minors 1 major
  29.
  30. URW release appeared to be more accurate in earlier episodes as well.
  31. The appropriateness of terminology appeared to be about even.
  32. gg's sub seemed to flow a bit better, but there was a lot of minor simplifications/modifications to the script that I didn't bother listing as well.
  33. What gg did with "death" quirk was fun to read, but most of it were superfluous dialogue added to what was actually being said.

  36. Magi - gg - 03v2
  37. ===================
  38.
  39. Magi - GotWoot - 03v2
  40. ===================
  41. *0:45 - Literal - "You brainless." -> Not English... Should be a noun here like "fool" or "simpleton" etc
  42. **4:25 - ??? - "Seven ifrits" -> Clearly said 「なんなんだよ」 = "What the hell", "What's your problem" etc
  43. 6:41 - Context - "You lose" -> Not that important, but it's a reference to sword fighting lesson earlier, should keep the Japanese keyword "failing grade" here, like "You've failed the test"
  44. **5:53+6:52 - Consistency -> 「王宮剣術」 was the term used in both scenes, translated as "noble style" then "King's stance"
  45. *13:50 - Literal - "Who are you?" -> This was said to a kid who was supposedly his best friend... "What are you?" or "Who are you, really?"
  46.
  47. +++++++++++++++++++
  48. Had enough at 13:50. This is a relatively easy series to translate, and gg release had awkward phrasing in some lines, but got the meaning of everything right.
  49. GotWoot managed to get a lot of things wrong.

  52. Btooom! - Commie - 03
  53. ===================
  54. *3:19 - "...the fuck?" -> I'm thinking of the same thing. Pretty bad edit for "...huh?"
  55. Btooom! - FFF - 03
  56. ===================
  57. *0:16 - "Food... and she's got a bunch" -> This is just bad.
  58.
  59. +++++++++++++++++++
  60. Either FFF TLCed with a translator or Commie editor changed a bit too much.
  61. FFF was super literal and had some stupid sounding lines, but overall more detailed.
  62. Commie's sounded smoother but the nuance was off sometimes.
