Go to the station, put on goggles, turn on the scale
Place the empty evaporation dish onto the scale, and record data.
Add Approximately 2 grams of sample, record data again.
Next obtain acid from dispensing bottle, obtain 10 ml by squeezing the bottle. Then transfer acid into beaker.
Now, take the dropper and fill it up with acid from the beaker.
Put watch glass over the top of the evaporating dish. And slowly add in the acids in the evaporating dish. Then swirl the evaporating dish. repeat 3 times.
Now fill up the dropper one more time, this time slowly add one drop at a time to the sample. And wait for the sample to stop bubbling before adding another drop to the sample. Repeat until no more reaction is happening in the evaporating dish.
Now take a wash bottle and rinse the under side of the watch glass into the evaporating dish.
Then heat the evaporating dish with a bunsen burner. Until there is no liquid in there.
After cooling off the evaporating dish, put it on the scale and record the final data.
