Friends, if you are reading this, that means I never posted to curtisfaith.com and Adam and Christina's names are still on the andela.co website so they have not resigned in response to the below messages which were to have been sent in the last couple days. That means they are likely backing Jeremy's proposal to strand me in Europe with no money. See the below emails for more explanation.

Please help find me and please try to trace my exact steps as I'm likely to be leaving breadcrumbs and clues to my eventual whereabouts along the way since I have no money for internet to send other messages when I get to Rome unless Jeremy sent someone to meet me. If you are reading this, that means he didn't otherwise I'd have emailed Zaman to tell him I was okay when I landed.

Here is my current plan:

1) I will walk to the old Roman port of Fiumucino near the Rome airport, it appears to be a few kilometres away. I will be stopping by the catholic churches in an attempt to get a message to the Pope who ran in the same circle as many of my friends in Buenos Aires, he hung out with Maradona and I at the Cocodrillo a few times. Mario will help me if I can get a message to him, unfortunately he's going to be very busy with the beatification this weekend so I may not be able to get past the Swiss Guards to get a message to him.

2) If I can't find an open church, I will dispose of my 40 pounds or so of souvenirs and get things down to a manageable size that I can carry my things as I walk the 40km or so to Rome. It will be night and I haven't been on the road in 15 years so I have no idea how long it will take me to get there.

3) I will be extremely easy to notice. I have a very bright orange Igbo shirt, bright orange Hausa pants and Hausa long smock of light orangish beige, a Yoruba herdsman vest, and a brown Yoruba hat. I am also carrying a leather Yoruba backpack and a black African bag that is exactly like the one I looked at in Manhattan when I bought a leather Italian small briefcase and Tumi travel bag, and an Italian leather wallet for large sized bills. The store was at 58th just west of 5th Ave. Ask the owner there to show you the ostrich skin bag with the unique enclosure system and leather from every single animal in Africa. I found the same bag from the Hausa producers in the Lagos airport and traded my iPhone 5 for it so I could get an iPhone 6 in Rome before my ATM card was eaten. I was planning on giving it to the ladies programming team for the hackathon, but that didn't happen if you are reading this. If the bag was stolen, you might find clues to where I am if you can find it. Should be easy for the police to track it down. Can't be many like it in the world. It was very expensive in NYC. Very expensive but I forget the exact price.

4) I remember two safe spots to sleep on the streets in Rome. One by the Vatican press office just outside Piazza di San Pietro. Another just down the river by the footbridge in front of the castle. Under that bridge the homeless were pretty sheltered the last time I was there. Don't know if it is still the same, but I'll go there first. I have no idea what the weather in Rome is like this time of year but I'm wearing very very light cotton clothes for hot weather, not autumn in Europe.

Have no idea what I'll do after that, but I'll be looking to visit the embassy for help as soon as I can. My sandals are not up to the walk, so I suspect it will be slow going as I'll have major blisters after a walk like this. So perhaps two days to get to Rome's embassy. There is an email address there: uscitizensrome@state.gov for citizen assistance online. They may be able to help and may know where I am if I got that far. But please keep looking for people who I talked to prior to that as I may have left some clues to where I'll eventually be going. I'm going to try to find a friend Thomas who lives near Rome but I don't have his contact information as it was on my phone.

I will try and keep my possessions but after no sleep last night and a walk in the rain, I'm not sure I'll notice if someone takes my bag as I'll likely crash for a solid day once I do sleep. Please help me and track me down if you find this. I will try and stay very very visible so I'm easy to find and so you have a chance of running into someone who has seen me.

I logged into my Facebook account on his computer so he can do this for me. Kathyrn, if you are reading this, please let everyone know if you got a friend request from me early this morning EST. That will be evidence that I am indeed Curtis Faith and that Zaman and I have communicated this message.

Kathyrn, it is important that you realise that Jeremy has been lying about me and what happened when I left. Please read the below and verify this for yourself by contacting the people at Andela directly. Do not trust Jeremy. He has fooled many of us and he's a very very bold-faced liar. Just ask people the reasons he said I wasn't there on Wednesday. I'll bet you get three or four different answers depending who you talk to. Don't take my word for it, please investigate for yourself.

Jeremy does not respect you. Remember the night we had dinner with Bruce at the Thai restaurant? On the way over all he could do was tell us how he thought your business model didn't scale. Yep, didn't say the good things. Just the bad. Ask Bruce, don't take my word for it.

I've watched your videos, I know your idea is awesome, and if I am alive and I get back to NYC I'd be happy to introduce you to my very extensive contacts in the HR and Staffing world from the days when I started the hr-xml consortium while working at the staffing web app company Icarian with Michael Lopp who runs engineering at Pinterest and a whole crew of other awesome people.

He say he don't have his laptop and needed to get a couple of messages that should only be sent in event he not contact me by November 5th, 1PM London time. I let use my tablet and he wrote the below and send to Christina yesterday. He also say that if I no see new blog lost on his blog at curtisfaith.com that I should send the following to you.

If you get this message, it means I haven't been able to contact Zaman and I haven't made a blog post. I had a post setup on LinkedIn for auto-post on the evening of the 5th of November (http://www.linkedin.com/pulse/article/20141106020745-2194208-war-on-the-suits), but I was to make a manual post to curtisfaith.com to indicate I was okay so this message didn't get sent.

I don't know why or where I will be at the time you might read this, but the most likely scenario, given that I will be arriving with no money in Rome where I don't speak the language is that I have been robbed, injured or killed while living on the streets there. I haven't been to Rome in 15 years, but the last time I was there I was amazed at how few people could even understand English so it will be difficult for me there, if you get this message, it means something stopped me from writing the post I intended to write and I did not make it back to the States.

You will find attached the message that was sent to Christina yesterday.

Please help find me and make sure I am okay. Jeremy must have stopped E and Nad from helping me as I know they never would have let it come to this.

P.S. Adam, sorry for the flip references to Princeton. That's for Jeremy's benefit, nothing personal. One of my heroes, Einstein, worked at Princeton as you well know, I have great respect for those who learn there. Just not for those who learn that money is more important than people.

And apologies for the firestorm that I have likely created on the PR front for Andela with my LinkedIn post. You'll note that I have very deep connections in the tech staffing world in the Bay Area if you read my LinkedIn Profile. I'm sure you'll do your best to get ahead of it.

Jeremy wanted war, he's got war. I hope for your sake that I am indeed okay, otherwise the liabilities will be very high for Andela. You might consider resigning, especially if Christina didn't show you the email from yesterday, Guy Fawkes Day. That means you've been kept in the dark about something very important to your job and career.

If you are reading this message, it means I did not make it back to the States for my daughter's Halloween, nor did I make the CTO conference where I was to speak and launch an important personal initiative. I can only assume that one of two things has happened.

1) Jeremy did not see to it that I received money when I arrived in Rome even though I informed E that I did not have my ATM card as it was eaten in Lagos by the machine, and I have been having difficulties getting access to the cash in my bank account, and that Jeremy has stopped my friends at Andela from helping me.

2) I have been injured or killed while on the streets of Rome.

I can assure you that from a personal liability perspective, at least on a monetary and career front, you will be better off should the second option be the case.

If my most likely scenario unfolds you can expect two things:

1) When I return to the States I will immediately go to Silicon Valley and round up about $500K from my friends to start an Andela competitor. They will give me this money because it represents a tiny portion of the amount they'll spend on recruiting to get the people I will bring them. I will actively recruit among existing fellows and instructors, and I will ask E to be the CEO of this new venture. I'm only going to ask for $500K because we don't need any more than that.

I will offer the fellows a deal:

1/3 of net revenues after expenses and overhead to go directly to fellows as salary
1/3 of net revenues after expenses etc. to be directed by fellows for community improvement
1/3 of net revenues after expenses to be directed by all for world betterment

I will take the same share and split as the fellows and instructors, no more, no less. One human one share.

Some significant portion of the fellows will like this deal as it is considerably better than the one they have. I'll leave the rest up to your imagination.

2) I will make a very public display of what happened to make Andela the poster-child for neo-imperialism in tech. Expect a post on my blog, medium, and the Facebook groups that I belong to.

I am writing this to you personally first, because I like you and I don't want you to suffer because of Jeremy's errors. If you are smart, you will resign before the day is over. Adam will as well, but you should only tell him about this email after you have investigated what I am about to say personally so you can verify that it is true. Do not tell Jeremy about this until you have determined what actually happened yourself.

You are an officer of the corporation (that's what the O in COO means) and have a fiduciary duty to the investors which supersedes the authority of Jeremy as CEO. If you don't know enough about corporate governance law, get a personal lawyer and ask them about your liabilities here. Do not, under any circumstances, rely on existing corporate counsel. A friend will probably serve the best advice here.

I first decided it was likely I'd be leaving Andela when Jeremy got extremely and uncontrollably angry with me because of something I said on the YellowHammer call. It was his contact, his friends, etc. and he asked me a question, I responded with an erroneous statement of minor actual impact because I remembered an email incorrectly. Jeremy was apoplectic, and quite an asshole about it. I jotted that down and decided to make a test.

When I got to Lagos and noted the condition of the office, I wrote Jeremy and Bruce an email. Get Bruce to send you that email asap. It contains very relevant data you were missing when you saw my performance on Tuesday October 14th.

On Sunday night before you got there, we orchestrated a heart-to-heart with Jeremy. Judith, E, Nad, and others were involved. I wanted to create a space wherein people would feel free to say things they had been afraid to say alone. Ask Judith about this conversation and our discussions before she left.

During the week before Jeremy arrived, I was very vocal in the office about my extreme dissatisfaction with the way the fellows were being treated, packed like sardines, expected to program using complete shit machines, totally unusable interenet etc. I laid the blame for that squarely on Jeremy, not you, as it was his doing that resulted in the delays and terrible execution in Ops, not yours. Ask Ian about this. Ask the fellows, they will tell you as I have bcc'd one of them on this email.

On Monday, instead of apologizing for the completely unacceptable condition of the office. Jeremy rakes me over the coals for being late on some RACI tasks. I wasn't even aware that we were late. He threatened to cancel the hackathon if we didn't get them done by Wednesday. He was a complete prick. Ian forgot to put the dates on the Asana tasks. No one ever, prior to Jeremy being a dick, had even mentioned these tasks. They were completely non-mission-critical.

We got them done, all five or six of them, in three or four hours. Ask Nad and Brice about this.

At this point, I was pretty certain I'd be leaving Andela as I don't work for assholes, nor for stupid people.

So I arranged to have six of the most outspoken and strong personality fellows at the first Dinner to witness my giving Jeremy one last chance. I hand picked them. Ask them what they thought happened at that dinner, and what they thought of my performance and whether or not they think I was acting or actually that pissed off. Ask them all in a group call if you are smart. All six of them and the others at the dinner who are not Jeremy.
