  1. Situation: Aya has once again proven her incompetence… err, ingenuity! She broke a camera the other day and somehow knew enough to fix it. Now it’s work time and Taro has been called to fix the newspaper’s printers which have imploded (metaphorically)! There’s no manual, no help, no idea how to do this. Aya really wanted to do this but Taro got picked because Taro is a great lackey and/or employee
  2.
  3. SO TARO TAKE UP YOUR SWORD AND GET TO WORK
  4.
  5. [X] Bring her along. Company is always nice, and you can keep an eye on her.
  6.
  7. -Given the fact that there’s NO IDEA how to fix it, Taro decides it’s best if at least someone else comes with him
  8.
  9. -Aya “volunteers”. That is, she gives Taro no real choice in the matter.
  10.
  11. -So Aya comes with Taro. DESPAIR BREAKING THINGS DAMN TENGUS etc (But at least, he thinks, she can fix cameras so maybe she can fix PRINTERS too)
  12.
  13. -The printers are housed in a large, multi-story(?) ‘industrial’ building next to the newspaper place
  14.
  15. -The place is absolutely deserted. Cobwebs, no lights, old industrial equipment etc.
  16.
  17. -Aya doesn’t seem to mind, she coos about how it’s “spooky” and talks about Youkai
  18.
  19. -Taro’s all like BUT YOUKAI AREN’T REAL
  20.
  21. -Two options here, either Aya can be like “But Taro I told you about Youkai!” and be interrupted by things falling (or something), or Aya can just ignore him. Either way something needs to give attention to where these printers are in order to move them, plot wise, towards the printers. I was thinking a large, well-dusted sign that says “PRINTERS”. Possibly with Taro lampshading the sign.
  22.
  23. -The printers seem abandoned as everything else. This can be commented on and questioned while dusting them off and looking for an “on” lever or button or something. I then suggest the printer activates BY ITSELF, starts making horrible rumbling noises (possibly while physically bouncing around), and then shoots newspapers over/at their heads and out a window (which can later turn out to be a nearly direct drop into news agency’s backyard or window with a X or target marker clearly labeled). Taro can be terrified while Aya is like “SQUEE! PRINTER YOUKAI!” (It’s not actually a Youkai)
  24.
  25. -After this horrible experience they decide that the printer HAS to be fixed. Besides that’s why they are there. Cue clueless banging on the machine, pulling levers, looking for “off” buttons, etc. At some point Aya manages to turn the machine “on” and “fixes it”. The printer then begins its even WORSE shaking and rumbling and seems ready to explode… before steamily printing off a single, otherwise unremarkable newspaper.
  26.
  27. -Right before anyone can declare the job fixed (likely Aya boasting), part of it explodes and absolutely hoses Aya down with ink as we discussed. I’m not sure how much you can/want to play up the SEXY STUPID TENGU angle. If you feel it’s right you can lampshade the fact by stating that the Ink is black and thus, there’s nothing to be seen.
  28.
  29. -Anyway this is horrible and Taro has to go get her a different set of clothes, since she can’t be seen like this. Either Taro’s BUSHIDO HONOR dictates it, or their ~relationship~ demands it, or Aya just asks nicely. Either way Aya decides she’ll keep working on it for a bit (she’s already dirty) and Taro TIMESKIPS to getting her a change of clothes in some fashion.
  30.
  31. -Taro ends up ambushed right outside the doors to the building as either his coworkers or BOSS (the big boss not Aya) run into him and congratulate him on a job well done, as apparently the newspapers are flowing normally. Various congratulations and pats on the back are given as Taro confusedly protests before someone notices the big he’s carrying and pulls out [something a female (Aya) would wear].
  32.
  33. -*Momentary pause as BIG BOSS just rewinds and continues congratulating, explaining the company would always support him, yep, yes... Possibly re-introducing the swivel chair as he (in the middle of the street) kicks off and rolls into the building backwards. Taro is just flabbergasted at the implications.
  34.
  35. -Aya, of course, complains about HOW LONG she’s been waiting and how it’s awful etc. She proceeds to try and undress in front of him, which his BUSHIDO HONOR means he’ll need to look away. While she’s doing that and Taro stares faithfully at a wall they can talk about how Aya fixed the printer. She gives an explanation that Taro doesn’t even begin to understand, and while Taro’s digesting it she finishes dressing. She then interrupts his ~deep thinking~ by EITHER
  36. 1) Hugging him from behind (like a glomp) and then breasts-back ratio increases exponentially
  37. OR
  38. 2) She does something like this but ends with a kiss on the cheek. Personally I think either could fit with Aya’s personality but the hug seems to be the best way Taro could process it emotionally.
  39.
  40. -Also since she’ll later learn Taro AGAIN accidentally got credit for being great-at-his-job-but-not-really, she’ll get pissed (Not this update) and this can lead to them discussing their emotions and deepening their relationship.
  41.
  42. -Anyway Aya is actually NOT a shallow bitch and thanks taro for getting her some clothes. Taro agrees and they depart the Youkai building (Aya can blab on about youkais for a while Taro rolls his eyes).
  43.
  44.
  45.
  46.
  47. *This is the part I’m not sure about
