  1. -Anon and Hex Maniac: A Cute Story-
  2.
  3. It's dawn when you finally wake, just in time to see the first rays of morning light struggling past the thick velour curtains. In the dim light, you can just make out the bed you're lying in. Large and laden with blankets of a variety of colors and fabrics, it clearly doesn't belong to you.
  4.
  5. You can't remember quite where you are, but the smell is something that stays with you. A heavy fragrance, like incense or wild grasses, permeates the room. It's definitely noticeable, but not off-putting in the least.
  6.
  7. It reminds you of something familiar...
  8.
  9. "Oh, you're awake..." A hushed voice interrupts your thoughts. It seems to be coming from far away.
  10.
  11. Your about to reach for the desk lamp when you feel a hand touch your shoulder.
  12.
  13. "Right here, silly." She whispers gently in your ear, before chuckling softly. "I wouldn't leave my favorite spirit alone, now would I?"
  14.
  15. Without turning around you sink back under the covers as she pulls you into a soft embrace. You feel a wisp of disheveled hair brush against your cheek as she leans in to speak again.
  16.
  17. "After all I'm a bit of a..." She chuckles again before breathing the rest slowly into your ear. "Hex...Maniac..."
  18.
  19. Before you have time to react she softly plants a kiss on your cheek and draws you even closer. You can't help but resist just a little. It feels almost too good to be true, like a dream.
  20.
  21. "Ah!" A small gasp escapes from your partner. "I-I'm not to cold am I?"
  22.
  23. "N-n-no!" You stutter apologetically, allowing her to wrap herself around you. "You're perfect."
  24.
  25. In all honesty, though, it's impossible for you to tell. A light pink is still decorating your cheeks from the kiss, and between her sweater and the blankets, it's unlikely you'd be able to feel anything cold.
  26.
  27. For a long time, not a word passes between the two of you, but then again, anything you could say would probably spoil the moment...and you didn't exactly want it to end.
  28.
  29. Against your back you can feel her breathing - her chest rising and falling slowly, imperceptibly. Every now and then, a warm breath tickles the back of your neck, leaving a tingling sensation travelling down your spine. Her smell is everywhere now. It's definitely distinct - more mysterious and more alluring - than the aroma of the room.
  30.
  31. She's perfect. Everything's perfect.
  32.
  33. "Are you still awake?" She coos, after what feels like an eternity in her arms.
  34.
  35. "Yeah..." You mumble groggily.
  36.
  37. "Then you can feel it, can't you?" She whispers.
  38.
  39. "Mhm?"
  40.
  41. She makes a disappointed noise and disentangles herself from you.
  42.
  43. Every fiber in your being wants to protest, but before you can open your mouth she places a single finger up to her lips.
  44.
  45. "Sshhh." She smiles mischievously, then pulls herself upright. Scooting closer, she lifts your head and gently places it into her lap.
  46.
  47. It's soft...so soft.
  48.
  49. "Comfortable?" She smiles looking down at you.
  50.
  51. Of course you are - you have the best view in the world.
  52.
  53. From your comfortable position between her legs, you look into her eyes. They're deep and vast, as endless as her mysterious nature and just as beautiful.
  54.
  55. "If don't know what it is..." She playfully runs her fingers through your hair. "Then I'll just have to find it."
  56.
  57. She closes her eyes and begins making a low moaning sounds. Her hands trace through your hair, past your cheeks, and over your lips. It's slow and systematic, mysterious and little eery - like she's using you as a crystal ball.
  58.
  59. Softly she mutters words that you don't recognize in some kind of unearthly chant. You don't know what to do, but it's mesmerizing.
  60.
  61. "I see..." Her hands come to a rest over your eyes and everything grows dark. "I see..."
  62.
  63. Her thick curls brush against your cheeks, your neck. You don't have to see to feel her leaning closer.
  64.
  65. "Just kidding!" She lifts her hands and gazes down at you quizzically. "Did I make you feel special, though?"
  66.
  67. You don't really know what to say, but you can't help taking advantage of the fact the her face is less than an inch away from yours. Leaning in, you pull her into an upside-down kiss.
  68.
  69. It's feels silly at first because she doesn't do anything, but when your lips part you can see why.
  70.
  71. She quickly turns away, her normally pale face as red as a rose. You turn away too, cheeks flushed from your own boldness.
  72.
  73. Another moment of silence passes, slightly shorter than the last. When you finally turn around to apologize, she's hiding her blushing face in the too-long sleeves of her sweater; only her eyes are glancing at you expectantly.
  74.
  75. "L-look I'm really so-"
  76.
  77. You're interrupted by an inaudible murmur from her sleeves. It only takes her a second to realize her mistake, though.
  78.
  79. "I-It's alright." She whispers, lowering her arms and scooting closer to you. Her eyes still have trouble making contact with yours.
  80.
  81. She thrusts a sleeve covered hand in your direction. You accept it, feeling your fingers interlock through the warm fabric.
  82.
  83. "Hehe." She chuckles to herself, then looks at you excitedly. "Wanna try that again?"
  84.
  85. -fin-
