Q) My team has submitted our final video, and we were hoping y'all could help shed some light on the judging/selection process for us. What metrics determine who wins the competition?

A) The voting will take place directly on the HP.com webpage we’ve created for this Challenge – www.hp.com/go/lifeinspace .  There finalists are selected from our judging panel made up of representatives from HP and Intel (AEC workstation leaders, our Education Distinguished Technologist, Head of Workstation R&D, etc).  Once these three teams are determined, we’ll push out to social media for public voting beginning next Tuesday 3/28.  We’ll promote each of the three teams with an individual post per team, amplified to our target audience of AEC & Design professionals + higher education students and leaders) using the final 60-sec team video.  These will go out on Facebook & Twitter + alumni-targeting on LinkedIn.  The winner will be the team with the highest number of votes collected by 11:59p PST on April 3rd.

Q) If it is social media-based (i.e. via Facebook), then we need to get started on our publicity/marketing campaign soon. On the other hand, if it's a matter of, say, which team draws in the most views on their YouTube video, that would require us taking a different strategy entirely.

A) Hopefully the above helps address this comment.  Since final submissions were due this past Monday, March 20th, can you please confirm when we can expect to see your final submission files?  We need by tomorrow morning to proceed with the reviews & selections by the HP-Intel judging panel.

Q) Lastly -- when should we expect these videos to go live?

A) We will only be uploading the three finalists videos to YouTube and to our hp.com/go/lifeinspace microsite.  These videos should be live out on YT and hp.com by Tuesday 3/28.  We’ll be happy to let the three finalists teams know when the videos are uploaded and when the social voting will officially kick-off with an email notification so you can start your internal promotions accordingly.
