Movies that are showed in the cinemas are often called mainstream movies since it is more often viewed by the audience than the indie movies. Mainstream movies are usually the popular movies and the indie movies are often called individual movies. Most of the time, Mainstream movies are way better than indie movies due to certain reasons such as  the budget, actors and fanbase.

In terms of movies, budgets are one of the most important factor in a movie since it will usually define the quality of its production. Good movie producers and actors will always have higher demand for salary. The budget needed for them to make a movie is tremendously high however the popularity of the movie will also be high. Everything happens in the movie requires budget and when the movie has high expectation, it will definitely have extraordinary number of people making the movie. The marvel movies is a great example of high budgeted movies since it requires a lot of technicalities for it to be made. The most distinct part between mainstream movies and indie movies are the animations since it requires money and highly skilled people for it to be done. it is just that indie films does not have enough sponsors for it become good enough.

The films will always have film crews and actors however the difference between the both are usually the quality and quantity. Mainstream movies will usually have the high skilled film crews and famous actors and indie films will have the new and inexperienced actors or film crew. Having highly skilled film crew will have less mistakes and will always capture the best moments in the movies which will be the same with famous actors as they are highly experienced, they will less mistakes and more quality with what they do. Opportunities in mainstream movies are definitely higher than the indie movies which is why famous actors will always appear in it. High skilled crews is already obvious why a mainstream movie is better, it is like having bunch of war veterans in a group.

Over the past decades, the market and the distribution of movies are dominated by mainstream movies as such that our mindset is already used to thinking that mainstream movies are the movies that must be watched. The audience will less likely to want to watch a indie films since they will always expect it to be boring due to actors not being good enough or the quality of the film is very low. It is already stuck into our memories that mainstream movies will definitely have better entertainment than the other. Mainstream movies have accumulated their fame through their quality of the movies and indie films have accumulated their failures and bad quality movie. Branded movies such as marvel, dc comics or the series of mission impossible have a strong foundation since they have successfully made all their films to be a blockbusters and it is already expected that their upcoming movies will be of the same quality.

Every movie will always be different however mainstream movies are often signifies the better side of the industry. With ever growing fame of the mainstream movies, it is less likely to have bad quality film. Mainstream movies will always be in a better quality and movie production than the indie films due to its budgets, actors and audience.
